I recently stayed at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lumberton in Lumberton, NC, and overall, it was a very comfortable experience. The room was clean and spacious which made it easy to relax after a long day of traveling. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated how quiet the hotel was even being close to the highway. It's definitely a great stop if you're traveling and need a place to unwind. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Check-in was smooth, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt modern and well-kept. Breakfast was available, which was convenient, though the selection could be a little better depending on your expectations. Still, it was nice to have that option before heading out. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Lumberton. I would definitely consider staying here again. read more

The SpringHill Suites in Lumberton, NC. It is located off I-95, but I came on another road, so I missed the entrance as it was somewhat hidden. Check-in was super friendly and helpful. I was given a room on the top floor and even given a recommendation for dinner. When I arrived, there was a baby shower in the lobby, and possibly a family reunion. My room was large and almost clean. There were two white substances on the counter. It didn't photograph so well in the light, but one I took without the light on. It appeared to be missed in cleaning the counter. The WIFI was great, and there was a good selection of television stations. I could hear some of the traffic from the highway, so I adjusted the fan to stay on to buffer it. But it wasn't an issue I first thought it would be. The hotel had a pool and a small fitness room. Breakfast was great. When I got there, the lobby was full of high school or college students heading to a robotics competition. It was hard to find a seat. But waffles, breads, cereals, oatmeal, as well as hot foods were offered. I believe there were yogurts and some fruit as well. The breakfast area was well attended to, and she kept the selections stocked. I am planning a return here in May and hope for another great stay. read more

So happy I found this gem on the way back from Florida to Virginia. Will be our new halfway point for sure. The room is beautiful, even nice than the resort I booked at Disney (crazy right?) the pool is actually heated and not just advertised as a heated pool. I enjoyed being in the pool with my toddler and we swam for a good hour. There's a pizza place next door that did live music which was quite loud, luckily he sounded great. But overall I'm amazed, I haven't been in a hotel this nice with actual nice workers as well. read more

Do not stay here if you have a dog! Poor management!Chris the manager....is the worst! you are not allowed to bring your dog in the lobby even at night when there's no food you can only take the dog out to go to the bathroom. You're not allowed to leave your room with the dog in the room, but they charge $100 a night for the dog. This is not a dog friendly hotel and the manager Chris is very rude. Do not stay here. Hotel is not dog friendly and management is rude... and I have stayed here before, and no manager ever said a word, but Chris he disrespected me, and I am a titanium member of Marriott very rude should not be manager at all. I stopped in after finding a great deal on HotelTonight. Unfortunately, the eldest member of our family passed away, so we drove from Florida to Virginia. This hotel had excellent ratings, and as someone who has stayed in many Marriotts around the world, I can say they truly live up to their reputation for taking great care of their guests. The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a microwave, fridge, cozy couch, and a desk that made it easy to catch up on work. The bed had three perfectly fluffed pillows, and the shower was incredible, featuring eucalyptus lavender body wash that made it feel like a mini spa. Special thanks to Vanya, Melina, and Katie for being so kind, intelligent, and welcoming. Their warmth and professionalism made a tough trip feel a little brighter. read more

We stopped at this hotel on our way to our Summer vacation. The hotel is easy to get to - right off I-95. Parking is decent as well. The check-in process was easy and friendly. Our suite size was good too and they have good beds after the recent renovation. The main issue was the bathroom - it was not clean and the lock on the door was broken. Also, the sliding door was hard to keep closed as it kept sliding on the rails. As you can imagine, it was very inconvenient to use the bathroom with family around! We called the front desk and was informed that they would look at it the next morning. There was no other suite available since the hotel was full. This did not help our situation since we were here for just the one night :( read more

As a former resident of the region, Lumberton does not have the best reputation and I was not itching for opportunities to stop in. This place is near the highway and not really in Lumberton, but I also had concerns about road noise. However, I experienced no distractions during my time. The building felt new and well designed and I was impressed with my suite both aesthetically and in terms of its practical utility for teleworking. Their breakfast was substantial, with things like a waffle station, Quaker oats, and oat milk, and was well attended. I experienced a few hiccups, including a toilet that didn't want to flush for a bit. The AC, while highly effective, apparently had a timer and it stopped in the middle of the night before I had to restart it again, so that wasn't good. But for any traveler seeking a quick diversion during an I-95 trip will likely find this to be one of the better properties and better values around. read more

Springhill suites 5128 Fayetteville Rd, Lumberton... was excellent. Super clean room, lovely comfortable bed and pillows. It's all about the pillows! LOL. Usually they are so terrible in hotels I travel with my own. This was my 2nd stay here & it was lovely. I must say I miss the little egg soufflé on the breakfast buffet. Pls bring them back ( especially in November when I'll be coming your way again ) I was checked in by Malana. Very pleasant. The next morning Liz was on duty. I had to leave super early ( 4am ) so i would miss breakfast. She was incredibly nice & helpful. Brought me hot tea & offered me a few nuts & dried fruit to take. Very much appreciated that Liz as there was nothing open on the highway until 6 or later. Thanks again ladies!! read more

After 10 stays over the past 6 years, they have lost a loyal customer. I messaged the property around 10pm last evening with my confirmation number to inform them that we would be arriving very late, possibly 2am. We arrived around 3:00 a.m. after a 10-hour drive, only to find the two front desk employees engaged in a personal negative conversation about other guests. We were not acknowledged until they finished speaking, which was both unprofessional and frustrating given the time and circumstances. We were then told our reservation had been canceled due to an "invalid card," and that attempts had been made to contact us by phone or email--though the employee could not confirm which. Our card was 100% valid, and we received no communication whatsoever. This explanation did not feel credible, especially given the lack of professionalism during the interaction. At 3:00 a.m., we were left standing in the lobby with our bags and nowhere to stay. We ultimately had to visit three different hotels before finally being WELCOMED at the Holiday Inn. That experience was significantly better than any we've had with SpringHill Suites Lumberton, and we will be choosing them again on our return trip next week. read more

I stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Lumberton for $110 plus tax on a Sunday night in October, using a AAA discount. The total after taxes was $125. The hotel feels new, and the room--featuring two queen beds and a pullout--was spacious and very clean. The shower had good water pressure, and there was a microwave for added convenience, making the stay extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and provided extra towels when requested. One great perk is that breakfast is always included at Springhill Suites, and this location offered a very nice spread. It was simple but had everything you needed, including Belgian waffles, bagels, coffee, and even oat milk for those with lactose allergies. There are plenty of nearby food options, including a pizza place called Your Pie, located in the parking lot--perfect for a quick bite. Service dogs are also welcome. For Bonvoy members, you'll earn 10 points per dollar for your stay. I highly recommend this stop for anyone driving south! read more

Had a great experience at this hotel. They have great front desk service. They have plenty of snacks for purchase including variety of beer and wine. In addition best pizza spot in Lumberton less that 200 feet from the front door. They have a workout room with good equipment, hand sanitizer on each floor and the rooms and good and spacious. During my stay with was very quiet and i had no issues. My only reason for the 4 stars is the disappointment with the breakfast. It was a grab and go selection with very few choice items versus a full hot breakfast. They did have waffle makers but not everything was fully stocked. Otherwise hotel gets two thumbs up in terms of cleanliness and customer service. read more

I've probably spent like 20+ nights at this hotel over the past 4 months. It's super solid, clean, modern styling / feels up to date, with friendly staff and comfortable bedding. I'll keep coming back. Only thing I've noticed is the 1 TV between the seating area and the bed area often is tilted - I guess people rotate them between the two sides of the room and the hinge gets loose. It's probably like half the rooms I've been in where it's crooked or tilted forwards. There's also breakfast included (not the fanciest but its free) with hot and cold options. It is right off I-95, which is a plus for me. Honestly I enjoy the road noise, it's like free white noise. And the black out curtains are dark as well - if you're working night shits, it's perfect for sleeping during daylight. read more

I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast at first -- nothing but carbs. After we were there half an hour or so they put out some yummy spinach quiches. Easy check out. Felt safe. What a great location! I stayed here for a wedding in Pembroke. It was right off the highway, convenient, and within a 10-15 minute radius from the venue. The customer service was top notch and everyone was kind; from the person at the front to the rest of the staff. The rooms were spot on and folks were constantly cleaning from day to night! My room was updated from the living space to the bathroom. You can tell that management takes good care of this hotel! I would highly recommend it! read more

Quoted $147, but they stole $457 because I used a pee pad to clean up throw up. Brilliant Mgr accused us of "having a pet." (I wish!) Said housekeeper found a pee pad in the trash "with evidence of a pet" but it was throw up. Will have to dispute and possibly sue because these people don't know the difference between throw up and animal feces. We were there on business with a group and 4 other people can attest to the fact that none of us had pets! I will leave a follow-up with the results on this review. I hope it's a positive outcome because my whole company uses that hotel and there are not too many other good choices in Lumberton. read more

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and nice room for the price This is one of the few hotels in the Lumberton area. It was easy to get to and is right off the interstate. It looks fairly new from the entry to the rooms. The staff was very friendly and efficient on the check-in. The lobby had a very nice, fresh look with the sitting and eating area off to the right and the check-in desk to the left. The entry doors for the rooms are recessed and angled making it different from standard hotels with all room doors not visible from anywhere in the hallway. The rooms are like a suite with 2 separate areas: a bedroom and a seating area. Inside the room, the television is adjustable and visible from both areas. The non-bedroom/bathroom portion has a seating area with a couch, a kitchen area, and a desk portion. The desk area is very nice and had frosted glass between it and the bedroom adding some privacy while still making the room not seem small. Many of the plugs were worn indicating that they may have gotten a lot of use. The room and the common areas were clean and well-kept. As a bonus, there is a great pizza restaurant right across the parking lot from the hotel. Overall, it is a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. read more

I'm currently staying here for a week on business. This makes my second visit at this location. The location is conveniently located right off I-95; I had no noise complaints from being that close to a highway. Staff has been friendly - when checking in I was told housekeeping would perform a "tidy" service two days (I stayed Sun - Fri) during my stay. Breakfast is included - however it's a poor selection to choose from. They offer oatmeal with toppings, prepackaged sausage biscuit, and a waffle station ... that's pretty much it. Rooms were clean and spacious. The TV does offer apps (Netflix, Showtime ..) however due to the internet connection I was unable to use this feature; which sucked since it's one of the MAIN reasons I chose Marriott when I travel! I already have another reservation to stay here again - I'll just bring my own breakfast this time. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE This hotel is unsanitary. We were not informed upon making our reservation OR upon check in that there is a policy that they won't clean occupied rooms. We reserved two suites for 7 days. We have 7 family members here including elderly/immunocompromised folks. When we asked to have our rooms cleaned we were handed a vacuum and one rag to clean the suites with. Nothing to clean the toilet with or sanitize with. The floors were filthy. We are eating meals in our rooms, visited the beach, etc, and did not know that our rooms wouldn't be cleaned. We also have not been given any new soap, no coffee packets, no cups to drink out of. We paid a LOT of money for these rooms only to come on vacation to clean our own rooms. In addition, here are photos of what they clean the rooms with. This is woefully insufficient to sanitize rooms. The paper towels we cleaned with were black after we cleaned. The second time during our stay that we cleaned our own room we had to ask for a toilet scrubber. We were handed the small nasty brush in the photo to clean it with. We were told they could not give us trash bags for our trash can. The front desk has been very polite and understanding although I'm not sure why they don't bring us basic supplies when they know that we are out. We are now on our way to purchase our own cleaning supplies as we would never stay anywhere for 7 days without sanitizing it. We also have to go purchase our own soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner since ours are out. This is the most disgusting hotel stay I have ever experienced. Apparently this is a corporate policy of Marriott, which is one thing. If corporate is so concerned about their employees, they should require staff to wear masks. No one who works here is masked except for one employee. Their employees must be missing out on tips bc of this policy. Local management could at least refill our soap and make sure we have refilled shampoo. Who lives for a week on one tiny bar of soap? Next stop: BBB and city inspectors. Do not stay here unless you like cleaning your own room! Due to Covid restrictions, they will NOT offer housekeeping during your stay AT ALL! This was not told to us when we checked in. We complained several times and let the front desk know that our 81 year old father is immunocompromised and needed more sterile conditions. My family and I had 2 suites for a week. My elderly mom was scrubbing the toilets, My sister was wiping down surfaces, I was vacuuming- during our VACATION! I don't blame the employees- this is Marriott corporate's fault. My aunt stayed at another local hotel and had daily room cleaning. Other local hotels I called offered cleaning every 3 days. If it's a Covid concern, why are none of the employees wearing masks? 2/5 just now on Google Bad experience overall. Booked our room online, which was a senior citizen rate. Checked in and the front desk clerk signed us up for some sort of membership without my consent. She asked if we had any room preference, and I said a quiet room. Upon getting to our room, which was just off of the elevator and or the highway side (which was anything but quiet), I received a notification that my credit card was charged for more than than the amount the room was booked for. I called down to the front dest to ask about the charges, and the desk clerk put me on hold and never picked the line back up. A bit later housekeeping was vacuuming the hall outside our room after 8pm at night, which seemed odd. At 11:30pm we were startled awake by a loud screeching fire alarm. It went on for about a minute, and we could hear other people opening their doors trying to figure out what was happening. I tried calling down to the front desk to find out what was happening but no one answered the phone. We tried to settle back to sleep since we were exhausted after driving all day. About 10 minutes or so later the fire alarm sounded again. And then again a third time just before midnight. At this point, there was no real way to get back to sleep. I emailed their customer service that was supposed to be available 24hrs as indicated I should in my email confirmation if I had any issues. I received no response to my email. I brought my issues to the front desk clerk upon checkout and he stated he would raise the concerns with his manager and they would call me later that day. The manager did call around 10:30am and had really zero care about any of the issues we encountered. He offered a very insincere apology and said they would not refund the stay but bump a couple dollars off the charges...ooohh gee thanks. Even the front desk clerk said he could know $15 off the charges, but he too agreed that we deserved to be further compensated than what he could offer. The room was obviously not cleaned well, you could see the bathroom floor wasn't washed. I also noticed a photo when booking that showed they offered Paul Mitchell toiletries which they did not, it was some generic refillable bottes in the shower. Will not be back! read more

This is a new Springhill Suites located just off of I-95. The room design is nicely done and very comfortable. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is noon. The offer free parking, WiFi and a hot breakfast. Their breakfast is a little different from the other hotels that offer breakfast by the addition of a few healthier options like fresh spinach with your eggs. They also add some fun stuff to the not so healthy items like whipped cream for the Belgian waffles. They have all of the SpringHill Suites amenities like the 24/7 Market, laundry room, business center, pool, fitness center and more. The staff is friendly from the front desk to the cleaning and maintenance crew. This is definitely on my list of places to return. read more

After a long day of travel, this hotel was a welcome sight. Our room was tidy, clean and quiet. We didn't have reservations so we weren't sure we would get a room. I asked about rooms at the front desk, and they said they had a room at $150 per night, however the clerk recognized the discount coupon book I had with me and matched the room rate (plus tax). Breakfast is included with the room. Options for breakfast are: breads products, waffles, fruit, eggs, oatmeal, juices and coffee. Sausage and/or bacon could be added to make the breakfast. read more

Very nice hotel right off of the highway. The decor and style is very modern and sleek. The receptionists were friendly and quick to help. My room was super cool, unlike any room I've ever been in. They have a designated office space, with a little sliding glass door so you could see the bed area. The TV swivels so you can watch from the couch or bed. They have a pool and fitness center, which is rather small. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. It was quiet and very relaxing. read more

I did not enjoy my stay. A family was placed next to my room which was loud all night long. When I called the front desk to complain, I was told they could only give them a courtesy call to ask if they would not be so loud. I found this response to be appalling given I had already paid $580 for my stay. I was extremely disappointed in their service overall. Their breakfast was horrible. Decided to stop here for a night during our road trip to New Jersey. This was my first time staying at a SpringHill Suites and I didn't know what to expect. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised when we exited I-95 and checked in. Our room was on the third floor and we loved how modern and spacious it was. Everything was so clean that it looked like we were the first ones to be in this room. I liked the sliding doors to the bathroom and the number of different lights in both the bathroom and bedroom. Small fridge, microwave, and free wi-fi, too. The hotel has a small gym, with a few cardio machines and a weight set up to 50 lbs. Free breakfast with both your usual carbohydrates as well as the oh-so-important meat and proteins. Coffee, water, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, fruit, etc. Breakfast is in the lobby and there is plenty of seating. If I'm ever passing through the area, I'm definitely going to be staying here. read more

4 stars, "I'm a fan." Gosh, what have I been doing since this place opened up in 2015. I have been staying at the Marriott Fairfield 4 times a year just about 2 miles away, in relative squalor. It's the same price most nights, but this Springhills Suites is cleaner, brighter, modern, functional, and quite possibly spacious. The guests also seem quite cut from a different demographic or perhaps the environment changes people's demeanors. I'll be staying at this location from now on. read more

Anissa and Tara did a good job keeping up with the huge crowd at breakfast. Anissa was very responsive when any food was out and so polite to all guests, not just me. Computers and printer available to guests in the lobby for whenever needed. Beds are SO COMFORTABLE; I had a better night of sleep than I did on vacation; shower and bathroom were super clean. Because of COVID, there are a lot of services that just aren't possible, but Jonica, who checked us in, came through every business service we needed on the road to pull off a critical project. The staff and officer were very nice and accommodating to me and my wife during a long road trip. We couldn't find a room to book anywhere on 95 SOUTH so they let us hang out in the lobby and bought pizza for my children. I would highly recommend this place. read more
