    Rooftop view from pool

Best Springhill Suites we've ever stayed in! Right by the pier, can't get any prettier than that! Bright spacious rooms, beautiful color scheme, comfortable, black out curtain, plenty of water pressure. Front desk staff are super attentive. At first we were a little put off by having to park in the garage down the street, but it's only like 50 ft away and covered and monitored for security. It's not an inconvenience. They have 10 minute parking for loading and unloading. Restaurant next door is so fun! It's in the same building but not part of the hotel. Pour your own beer! And it also offers rooftop dining.

Our next business travel event take us to Bradenton, FL and we at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott riverfront, front all the time very friendly and helpful for any information you need about the hotel. Room very spacious and comfortable , shower is one of rhe best I see an every hotel. But the best spot of this place is the roof with pool and the bar you can enjoy the sunset view in the afternoon together with families and friends. Breakfast is included with price and when drink your coffe in the morning you enjoy the view of a marina full of yachts that make your new day the best of all.

Loved this hotel! The suites are very nicely done. Separate living room area, a nice little workstation, super comfy beds with sort fluffy linens. A nice modern bathroom. Our room had two queen beds, a fridge and microwave. It also had a beautiful view of the water, the marina and the bridges. Great location as all the good restaurants and bars are walking distance. Directly on the waterfront. There's an oak and stone downstairs for food options, plus there's a rooftop bar and swimming pool. No jaquizzi though. Friendly service too!

Great view of the Manatee River from the 7th floor balcony suites !

Wow this is one great place to stay! The employee's at check in were very nice. Free secure covered parking across the street. We were lucky to get a balcony suite on the 7th floor. Huge room, great bathroom and a great view of the Manatee River. The hotel is a 5 star in my eyes. Whats not 5 star is the pool and rooftop bar. We sat by the pool for 3 hours. Mentioned to 2 employee's there was no towels. No towels ever showed up. The garbage cans here are overflowing with thrash. For a nice area there wasn't many seats. Maybe 6 reclining lounges and a handful of seats. Went to go a drink at the roof top bar of oak and stone. First we didn't find any of the girls here friendly. Ordered 2 drinks and was told they are not associated with the hotel and we needed cash or credit card. Later that night we wanted to sit in the roof area hotel and the hotel side was closed and the Oak and stone had a 45 minute wait. Breakfast was terrible, the absolute worst breakfast we have ever seen at any hotel. Overall a great hotel with a terrible rooftop bar and pool.

First Impressions of the Hotel…read more I've just arrived at the hotel for a business trip, and I must say the first impressions are mostly positive. The hotel has a charming exterior and an interior with a vintage vibe, but in a good way. It's got character. Upon arrival, the receptionist was friendly and helpful, which always makes a great first impression. The parking situation was a bit tricky, though. There is limited parking on-site, but they do have an overflow lot not far away, which is convenient, but still something to keep in mind. The room itself is spacious and adequate. It includes a nice balcony, a TV, and a desk for work. However, there was no refrigerator, which I found a bit inconvenient. Also, there was a slight odd smell in the room, but it wasn't overpowering or unpleasant--just a bit of an odd first impression. One of the highlights of the stay is the complimentary breakfast, which is always a nice touch. But I do have to mention a one thing. There was a small bench at the foot of the bed that I didn't notice was possibly damaged. When I sat down, I unexpectedly sank into it, which was a bit of a surprise. All in all, the hotel meets my needs for this trip. It's got some character and charm, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement.

Being able to walk past the pool to the Riverwalk and sit on the bench while drinking my coffee in the breeze was lovely. However, see the dolphins swim by you in the river ( YES Dolphins!!!) made this place even better. Based on the amount of locals watching and walking by, this is a daily thing. Ok, back to the hotel. There is plenty of parking. When you go in, there is the kindest staff waiting to greet you with a smile. This means a lot. They also have water available which is a nice touch. The restaurant serves Starbucks coffee and some items for breakfast for purchase and dinner too. I just got coffee and an afternoon beverage to enjoy by the pool. The pool is right out back and has lots of seating. There is also a hot tub. The hotel has 5 floors. Our king room was a nice size with plenty of bathroom space. It also included a couch as well as a desk, which was great since I was working from the hotel. The air conditioner worked very well. The room also had a small patio so I was able to open the door and get some nice fresh air. The humidity was kind of high so I didn't keep the door open often. The only small issue was there is a train that goes across the river and it blew its horn pretty early in the AM. Not the end of the world and kind of cool to watch the tracks go down for the train and then up so boats can pass. There is one restaurant across the street which had decent food. We didn't walk to the downtown via the Riverwalk, but you can and it's about an15 minute walk.

Location is great and views are amazing, only positives.

This stay was for a quick overnight work trip. I arrived pretty late -- completely exhausted and starving after a three-hour drive -- but the hotel was easy to find with GPS, parking was simple, and I was greeted right away by two very polite front desk associates. The lobby is beautifully maintained and nicely decorated. There's a coffee bar right when you walk in, which is a great touch (though I'm not sure how frequently it's replenished throughout the day). My room was on the second floor, and it was spotless. One of the reasons I love Home2 Suites is how spacious the rooms feel. It truly feels more like a mini apartment than a standard hotel room. There are so many functional spaces to set your things down without feeling cramped. I had a full-size bed, a couch, and a long counter that could easily serve as a workspace for two people at once. I especially appreciate having the option to prepare your own meals. When you travel often, sometimes you just want to stay in and not eat out for every single meal. The bathroom was roomy with amazing hot water -- exactly what I needed to relax my muscles after that long drive. I slept great, no noise issues at all, and woke up fully refreshed. I didn't try the breakfast because my boss had suggested we go out instead. My only general suggestion -- and this applies to many hotels -- would be to focus on serving more fresh, real breakfast options. When you're staying at a Hilton property, you expect quality across the board, including the food. Overall, this was a great stay, and I would absolutely return.

My husband had a conference, and I had a soccer game so it worked out. Got here a little later than expected so I called the front desk before arriving. The lady greeted me kindly and let me know she would be at the desk until later on. I was happy to hear because when I finally arrived, she was actually there. I was greeted with a warm smile and she quickly checked me in so we could get settled. I asked about some amenities I may need and she pointed me to the right direction. They have a washer and dryer, which is something I do use when I go on vacation. The actual room was spacious. Always a plus when it's a couple of people in the room. It was clean and maintained so throughout our stay. Overall great hotel. The only "complaint" I have is the mattress however I feel like this is common in most hotels. Wasn't the best mattress that I have ever laid on but it worked for the couple of nights I stayed.

As others have noted in their reviews, Ken and Jeff are constantly working to keep up this lovely family resort. It is clean and landscaped beautifully, and the rooms are just right! With a sitting area in our two bedroom, we enjoyed the recliner and couch as we watched movies in the evening. In our full kitchen, we stocked the refrigerator from the local Publix and made our breakfast and lunch, which we packed for the beach. Many guests chose to grill out as we saw when we would load up to go to a local restaurant for dinner, but we preferred eating out! On our first night at Hurricane Hanks restaurant down the road, we met up with a resident who offered us more ideas for restaurants for dinner. There's nothing like walking right out onto the beach to spend a morning watching the waves, seeing dolphins frolic, observing osprey catching their breakfast, and swimming in the water among schools of fish. Many of the guests knew each other from yearly vacations, and we have already made our reservation for next year! Anna Maria Island is quiet and family friendly. White Sands Resort offers shuffleboard and corn hole right next to the pool, but the best show is the sunset. On our first night, we were surprised to see how many lined the beach to see God's beauty, of course clapping at the end! Thank you to Ken, Jeff, Joy, and Esther for a wonderful stay. We wish you the best in the coming year, and we look forward to seeing you again!
