These guys are the best in the business. I've been with Spring-Green for a few years and I never had a thought to leave a review. They surely deserve one. Before Spring-Green, my lawn was pretty shitty. I was researching a lot of lawn maintenance companies from the smallest ones to the biggest ones. A lot of them came by to look and gave quotes. There was no obvious way to pick a company. I could only eliminate the bad ones who didn't even give me any proper plans of action or schedule and just sent me claims that they'd take care of it. The problem with DIY online solutions like Sunday is that I'm not getting an adequate amount of stuff. Some weeks, there were more weeds. Some weeks, not. I wanted a flat rate price for this varying problem. Spring-Green is a perfect fix for this. Spring-Green has their lawn care schedule for the entire year. Depending on when you sign up, you'll hop onto that schedule with the rest of the customers. That kind of makes sense. They have optional aeration services in late fall or early spring along with grub control in the summer months. Their pricing was also really attractive and the good reviews made it an obvious choice for me. The first year, I signed up for everything - aeration, full-schedule lawn care, and grub control. It was a lot but my lawn needed the care. After two years with my lawn looking so much better, I cut it down to just the essentials plan with grub control and aeration every other year or more. Here's what I love about Spring-Green. Weed control is guaranteed. You don't have to pay extra if you're still seeing weed after they've had a chance to be killed off. They'll come back and eliminate them free of charge. Again, if it's already on their schedule, you don't need to ask. The weeds need time to die so don't be calling the next week. I also like how they have short explainers for you at every step so you understand what's happening. I have no pets or kids so the chemicals they use are not a concern for me. If that's your concern, you can ask them. I've recommended them to a family member and he's also loving the outcomes! His lawn used to be full of weeds like 80% weed and 20% grass. It's all grass now after Spring-Green worked on it (which takes some time! Be patient with it). read more

Don't be fooled by their marketing campaign, the actual service quality is horrible and disastrous. I hired them for the first time, my beautiful green lawn was destroyed just after 2 services from them recently, with large strips of brown patches in the front & back yards. Spring Green has been caring for our lawn for the past two years. We signed up for the annual weed/feed treatment and we requested core-areation and overseeding service last fall. What a difference it's made for our lawn! It's lush, green and thick grass. The employees have been friendly, extremely efficient, and seem to have been with the company for quite a while. I see that as a very positive indicator of a business that cares for its people. After a slight mix-up in signing up for service, they rapidly corrected my records and have been superb at responding to any requests. On the value front, I would be spending way more to DIY (procuring the fertilizers and weed treatments is very expensive at retail price) than I am on the Spring Green service. Overall, I am very disappointed with the business practices of this company. They auto-enroll users into services without clear consent and fail to notify customers of upcoming charges or renewals. I prepaid for a mosquito service last year that was sub par and did not want to renew for the current year. A Spring Green tech performed a treatment without any prior notification that they would be coming and submitted a bill to me after the fact. When talking on the phone to customer service about my concerns they were very rude and dismissive. I did not receive a response when further following up via email. read more

Spring green sent out a mailer for lawn care treatments and I was told when giving my info that proper notice would be given before tech arrived the same day. Then some man called from the company for an email. Told him to make sure the notes were there about calling in advance. He told me techs can't be forced to call with personal phone. And said he can do a knock request. Anyone who has a dog knows knocking causes chaos. I said that is not what I was told. He hung up the phone after I told then I don't want the service. I wanted to speak to a supervisor because showing up to a yard with 3 dogs with no notice except the entire day is unacceptable read more

These guys are great -- very responsive and even understanding when I had to cancel an aeration very late in the process. I used two companies before them, and they were the best. This is about the fifth year we have used Spring-Green to try and keep a healthy lawn, and we have been very satisfied with their performance. Our yard is the best looking in the neighborhood! The only complaint I have is that I have to mow it! We also have their mosquito control service. Before we contracted for that, we would get bitten by mosquitos several times while walking from the house to the trash bin and back....now mosquitoes are no problem. This company has transformed my lawn (greater than 10k ft) to a green carpet. My backyard is in the shade of large trees thus requiring extra care. I admittedly suffered from serious lawn envy and eventually inquired about what service that neighbor used. We have now been using Spring-Green for several years for both the lawn and our trees/bushes. I'm not sure if you could call what we started with actual grass but now we do have a lawn that is barefoot worthy. In addition to weed and feed, Spring Green will also spread lime as needed, aerate and overseed and provide grub protection (therefore reducing vole tunnelling). The service workers who come out to service our lawn are so nice and Polite. WE HAVE BEEN WITH green spring FOR 5 YEARS. Last year, I complained about weeds, Debbie response was that it was a wet summer, this year same issue and the response is its been the driest summer. I understand a weed here and there will pop up but don't expect my yard to be permeated with weeds. I had suspicions that the person coming to do the service was doing a poor job and just putting the flag and leaving w/o treating, so I asked they knock on the door but the service person still didn't follow. This was confirmed when one of the manager came to look at the yard and agreed that it probably was not treated correctly in Spring and they had other similar complaints. My second issue from beginning was that we had small spots of Bermuda grass 'Wire Grass', Spring Green told me they will contain it, last 2 years I've been paying extra for Bermuda grass containment program, anyway 5 years later my 2/3 yards is covered with it, the only resolution kill the entire grass and reseed, which I just did and costed me over $2k. I've been paying over $1300 per year, my last conversation with Charlie and Debbie they will be refund the last treatment, thus far no refund. I will not recommend this company as they will not take any accountability and stand behind their product. I really should take them to civil court and get my last 5 year money refunded as I have plenty of evidence (pictures, contract, etc...) read more
