I was very disappointed today with my visit to the sango location. I usually take my boys to the…read moretiny town location that we all love, but here was a completely different story. One of the staff members was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. She even made a remark that she specifically had been working at this location for 3 weeks and had never seen me. Also I felt like my boys had to be extra vigilant even when in the toddler corner since there were many big kids playing in there and even the baby corner. Overall I just would not recommend this location and will only be returning to the tiny town location. And after the owner was made aware of her staffs short comings she proceeded to tell me that my family was simply not a fit for the play place, even though we have been going to mochas and minis in tiny town for years. And throughout our visit today the same staff members who was very rude and unprofessional was overheard acting the same way to many other people, as well as being on her phone many times for extended periods of time and not assisting her coworker with making drinks or cleaning up at all.

This structure has 3-4 levels to reach to the top of the building with a tunnel, slides, and ball pits. All the kiddos enjoyed the wall maze - where a ball inserted into 1 of 3 tubes is sucked up and shot out back into the ball pit eventually. The entire place is definitely fun for all ages! Just remember to bring your Elite grippy bottom socks - preferably clean ones! Or, you can buy a pair for only $4! Adults, please take your shoes off if you feel the need to go in after your child. Toddler parents, I think socks and supervision is required. No letting the little tots exploring solo - for their own safety! It's a nice addition to the Elite Sports Complex! I just wish it was a little bigger!

As a birthday gift to one of our friends, we paid to have our boys go to Splat That and enjoy some free range artistic abilities. They had so much using their palette and enjoying. Sis and I flew to Nashville for two reasons: 1) We love Amy Grant's "Tender Tennessee Christmas"…read moreand always wondered what it was like during the Christmas season and 2) Sis saw Ice on Instagram and thought we had to go and it was worth it. Pre-purchase your tickets online because spots run out. When you get there, you're in line to borrow a parka (cost included in the ticket), which is absolutely necessary because even with a coat and gloves, it's only 9 degrees Farenheit and you'll need it. Then you take the obligatory photo that you can purchase at the end and you go in. The exhibit is made of carved ice sculptures which have been dyed and cut into Christmas themes, like the Polar Express, Christmas presents, reindeer, the Nativity, etc. The scale of these sculptures are impressive, since some of the pieces, like the life size train, is made of blocks that weigh a ton before they're cut down. There also is a free ice slide you can get in line to slide down. There even was a sculptor from China (because this exhibit was inspired by a traditional show they do there) who was cutting a figure live in front of us to show us the intricate work they have to do to bring a figure to life. Really glad we came to see this.
