Three of us stayed one night in a family room. It started out weird; I was stepping out of the car…read moreand a man immediately asked for my name. Eventually we realised he worked there and was trying to check us in before a tour bus arrived. He took us to our room and explained everything. The guest house is more like a motel than a bed and breakfast; the guest rooms are in a different part of the building from the main area. Speaking of, there's no reception desk either. The room is alright, it had the basics, but the walls were thin and we could hear the girls next door chatting until late. Breakfast was pretty bad, and check out is 9:30 am. It's not a bad place, and we were lucky to find anything available on short notice, but for the price, I'd have liked it to be a bit more comfortable.

Becky and John were consummate hosts, taking time to visit each guest in their room and explain how…read moreto work the telly, the shower, and even hand you the WiFi login. By the way, WiFi is an extra charge, but only EU2.50 for all your devices. Bad WiFi speed, but you're not up in Portree to stream videos, are ye? Nicely located to tour the town, and ask your hosts for recommendations. Hard to be choosy in the middle of nowhere, so I feel very luck that this place was as nice as it was. I was in a single room and it was comfy, if a bit warm when I arrived. I opened the window, turned down the heat registers, and slept like a baby!

The hosts were very pleasant to get to know and very helpful with any needs or requests. The only thing that I have is that there isn't a common room to meet other guests, we are the very outgoing and like meeting people and making new friends. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great room, well appointed (tea and coffee hot pot, snack to recharge you) bathroom ensuite was super clean and well appointed. I stayed two nights and was very happy with the room, service and options. No meals available (covid rule, not their normal business) - but there are plenty of options within walking distance. I had breakfast a Relish x 2 (it was delicious) You are 5 mins walk to the center of town - which was why i picked this location. There is a grocery store about 3 mins walk down the road. Plenty of places in town to eat but make your reservation for dinner (WEEKS) before you travel. there is no "walk-in" during covid -- even though window signs say it is okay - it just doesn't work. . Thank you for letting me stay once again.

We stayed two nights in the loft. Beautiful view!! Both days we were greeted with some tasty treats on our mini fridge. Breakfast had many delicious options. We received great advice from Robin on places to explore for our two days there. For a small fee, you can order a lunch to go. Which was well worth the fee!!!! Very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

I found our room to be very nice and equipped with the standard kettle, tea & coffee. We even had a view over the landscape. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a view too. WiFi is free but a donation to cancer research is welcome if you do use the WiFi (collecting box in the lounge). Breakfast was organized in slots, we could choose 8 or 9am. We chose 8, by 8:40 we had to make room for the 9am guests. Breakfast was very good, with many things to choose from, like porridge, eggs with salmon or full scottish breakfast. Duncan also offers smoked makarel pate which he prepares himself, he even catches the fish himself. I found his pate very good. Breakfast had to be ordered the day before. I enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were very nice and always helpful with advice over things to do and where to go. I would book the Dalriana again anytime.
