I knew that this was a…read morespecial request so I called well in advance (the Wednesday before the actual anniversary on the 11th). I specifically asked for bird of paradise flowers as well as orchids. I was told by the young lady who took the order that it should be no problem. I had ordered from Rekemeier's in the past so I trusted them to do the right thing. What actually arrived was far from what I expected and certainly not worth the $225 price tag. A couple of yellow orchids and yellow roses that looked shriveled and on their last legs. Lots of greenery "filler" as well. I immediately called to advise them of my dissatisfaction and spoke with the lady who took the original order. She apologized profusely and told me she would speak to the owner and call right back. When I got the call, I was told that the owner gave me "what he had" and couldn't get the bird of paradise that I specifically wanted. He was aware of all this on Friday at which point a call should have been made to me to give me options. No such call was made. Of course my wife told me how happy she was so as not to hurt my feelings. I don't think this business understands the emotional element and consequences of disappointment. They closed their location in Cranford and business has suffered. I'll have to find another florist who cares a little more about repeat customers. BTW I was given a 25% discount on the order as an apology. It's been my experience that a business does not discount unless they have egregiously done wrong. Never again Mr Rekemeier.

The order was place the morning of the service and they had it there on time for a 4:00 start. I told the woman on the phone that the flowers were for a dear tailgate friend and she found a small NYG helmet to include in the arrangement to personalize it. The price was a little steep, but what isn't nowadays. The arrangement was $176 and the helmet was $35. I was okay with the price since this was a day of order placed last minute and included delivery. We were overall very pleased with the arrangement.

The person who replied said that for the $75 bouquet, the stems are a little longer and there may be a couple of extra flowers in there, vs. the $55 bouquet . I don't think it's worth an extra $20 for that, so I wish I had purchased the $55 bouquet. I won't order from them again because I feel like there needs to be more transparency and truth in the ordering process

I bought a lovely green vase with a tapered top that I could not be more happy with. Josie (the owner) told me she has a buy back program for vases purchased from Wildly Floral. You can bring back any vase you purhased there for $5 off a new vase. There is also a large assortment of dried flowers in the store and tools like flower snipers, frogs, and wire. I purchased a small sized arrangement which was around $40 and a vase. The flowers lasted about 2 weeks and were really cheerful and uplifting with a good variety in the bouquet.
