Also we had cabana #1 (the two story ones) by The Edge and so many people kept using the stairs as a "shortcut" or shoving our chairs and stroller out of the way to cut across the rope (even though the gate was right there) we had to keep telling people to stop. Deff wouldn't recommend that cabana for that reason. A lot of the staff had English as their second language with made it hard to communicate with a lot of workers we came across. The cabana has a ceiling fan, a fridge (but it wasn't on prior and took all day to cool off) and a TV but it wouldn't let toy download streaming apps.

Our 4 year old went around the lazy river over a dozen times. This park is geared towards younger kinds. Lots of smaller water slides and kid size water playground. There are 2 larger slides for adults and teens. We ate wings at the snack bar that were tasty. Pricy snacks. $3 for chips and $15 for wings. The kids could have stayed all day.

I am strong. (muscles up) I am brave. (hands on hips)…read moreI can do this. (thumbs up) IYKYK Currently on a subscription and at least 10 visits under our belt (a green shirt to prove it). We're at a strong 4/5 here and would recommend to any families that need to challenger their kid to be more OK with social settings and activities before they get into school and overwhelmed with the social pressure. I'd say my rating is more about the experience with certain staff over others more than anything. So, let's get into it. Generally the place looks tremendously clean (bathrooms too), with plenty of seating for observers - a little tight though as kids are coming in and out between sessions. The staff to greet you in is usually on point for friendliness and directing to the right spots - most of the time I perceive it's a manager or someone in supervision. Our son is Level3 ASD and has his own series of challenges. For the most part the instructors he had at the start were super understanding of him - even trying at times to help and other times to leave him be (and understood why he needed space). Our current ones? Maybe not so much...you can always tell when people are annoyed and if you think the children don't see it then you are dead wrong. That aside, I am tremendously grateful that at times they let 2 of us be with our son, especially when he's having issues. At the "little gym" down the road for example we were scolded openly about rules and "only 1 inside" before we could explain anything. Needless to say we cancelled it there. Room for improvement? At times I think the curriculum is too challenging for walking to 2 years old - examples are trying to do burpees and tug of war...if I didn't compromise other kids privacy I'd record it to show how uneventful it is due to them just simply being too little. My feedback is, try to adjust the curriculum to make more sense for the littles. For bigger kids I'm sure it's a blast.

They were so wonderful with my son and the best part of the day! Everyone seemed to take pride in their work, the park was clean, staff was helpful, and seemed to truly enjoy their jobs. The new splash pad is a lifesaver on a hot day. They've added more shade, and it's safe to assume more will be added when we return next year. All bathrooms are single-stall family/accesible which I appreciated a great deal. They're also climate-controlled which helped. I love being able to use construction equipment and try stuff that I can't normally access in my daily life. Yes, it's expensive but utilize Groupon if you want to save money. It's definitely worth the price for us because my kid loves construction equipment and he can safely use it here. To the team: We'll see you next August if not before!

Once…read moreyou sign up and get your tubes, it is a 3-4 minute ride from their facility (they take you in a van) to the "put in." This course is around an hour float down the river with a few class II rapid sections. For most adults, it should be easy going as long as you know how to maneuver a tube or raft. For young kids, I'd probably tether the child's tube to yours. Our two kids, 7 and 9, did fine. But, we had to make sure they rode the tubes correctly. Cowboy Tubin's prices are less than competitors by $5/pp and the run is slightly longer. They have very clean indoor changing rooms and bathrooms. Much nicer than some other places. The restrooms and changing rooms were spotless which is always a major plus in my book. Sometimes it's the simple thing and this one thing sold me on this company. The lady that we signed in with gave us a rundown of the river, what to expect, what to wear and what not to. She mentioned my hat and suggested not wearing it (which I agreed) then our sunglasses. What set her apart was the fact that she pointed out they sell sunglass retainers but if we didn't want to buy them they could tie some twine on them so we wouldn't lose them. That's rare, she had an opportunity to upsell us but didn't. Simply offered them then gave us a free option as well. As simple as it was, it was appreciated.
