The facility itself continues to be well maintained and is used as the primary pool and diving well for The University of Tennessee swim team. The exterior windows and seals needed a good cleaning was noticed. The TYR Pro Swim a USA Swimming event held January 2020 went off without a hitch. The local club host did a fantastic job. Great city and was excited to return to Knoxville and Allen Jones.

We've driven past it before, but never really knew what it was until we were invited to a little girl's birthday party there. At first, everything seemed fine. However, after speaking with the parent who rented the water park area, I learned they had reserved the space from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. While the kids were playing and enjoying the water slides and bounce houses, random families began entering the area and using the space. This felt extremely disrespectful, considering the family had paid to rent that area. Not only did they have to share the space they reserved, but it also created a significant safety concern--when strangers are mingling in a private party area, it becomes much harder to keep track of children and ensure everyone is safe. On top of that, the family had to provide most of the party essentials themselves. Sir Goony's brought out sodas but never came back to refill them or check that every child got pizza. I'm not sure I would recommend renting this venue for a private birthday party based on this experience. However, if you're just looking for a place to take the kids on a weekend outing, it seems like a fun option. There are water bounce houses to cool off, mini golf, and some arcade-style attractions.

He verbally put her down in front of the whole crowd that was about to go to the course. Extremely unprofessional and I feel like if y'all have a high turnover rate, it's because of Ben. The gentleman in the ropes course, I wish I could remember his name. He was so kind and professional, he would joke with the younger kids and make them laugh, go out on the course in a moments notice to help someone, and was all around in a good mood. He was having a good time and making sure the customers were too. So was the younger girl that Ben verbally attacked in front of everyone. Both the staff in the tree tops were fantastic, extremely helpful, and a pleasure to be around. I do feel bad for anyone that has to work with Ben though. If he was my manager I would quit before the first day was over.

It combines a ropes course that utilizes climbing safety gear with a zip lining course. There are several levels from beginner to advanced. Each course has obstacles that require you to walk/maneuver across. The course is designed so your are always locked onto a cable system that is very stable. So, you can "fall" and be okay. I've seen small kids to older people doing these courses and it's a lot of fun. If you are strong/tough, you can still find some pretty intense challenges here. I was sweating on their advanced one because it requires a good bit of strength and balance in some places. But, my 11 year old son managed it. So, it's not overly crazy. Staff are top notch. I've been here about 5 times over the past 2 years and they've always done a thorough initial training and made sure you're comfortable. Also, they have good advice and a positive attitude. Tips/random things: 1) wear closed top shoes. If you forget, they have some extras. 2) they have water and cups at the center hub that leads to the rope courses. 3) free lockers for your phone, wallet, etc. 4) helmets, gloves, harness/gear is provided. 5) you can reserve a time online or just go to Ijams and do it there. I've done it both ways. 6) If you go a lot, they have a membership and punch pass option. 7) they offer evening times and the course is illuminated with Christmas lights. 8) Ijams has free EV charging if you drive an EV. Overall: Love it. Glad we have Navitat in Knoxville! Highly recommended.

The building is located with easy access to the greenway and the Tennessee River. Located on the first floor of the building you will find paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, hydro-bikes, and greenway bikes that can be rented at the Billy Lush Board Shop. Not to mention their super rad Beer Porch. Outdoor Knoxville is about EVERYTHING outdoors. They help maintain and promote parks, natural areas, blueways and greenways. There's no shortage of adventure to be had in the area. There are waters to paddle, rocks to climb, and trails to wander. Something for families, individuals, kids, and pets. Outdoor Knoxville will connect you with all of it.

My favorite part is the "Loop" course. It is a 3-hole Par 3 course with 3 different tees, so you can play it as a 9 hole course if you wish. You get the experience and fun of a golf course, but you don't need a tee time, you don't need to make a foursome, and you can play as much or as little of it as you like. It's perfect for someone who either has a tight schedule or likes to golf on the spur of the moment. You will also find two driving range areas with unlimited range balls, a chipping area, and a few putting greens. They also have some of those things indoors too if the weather gets rainy or too cold, but I haven't really checked that out yet since they weather has been so great. Even if you're considering joining, I would encourage you to take a tour of the place. Sometimes they have membership specials and you will find that joining here for a year is a lot cheaper than a membership at every other golf course in the area. It also has many advantages that other courses can't offer.
