The bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms are not cleaned consistently, and the overall cleanliness can vary considerably from one visit to the next. Paper towel dispensers are also frequently empty, which is frustrating and easily preventable with more consistent monitoring. The TV bank in the treadmill and elliptical area is another concern. Several TV's have been out of service for months and there doesn't appear to be a way to connect to the TV's or select a channel individually while using the treadmill or elliptical. Finally, new spin bikes arrived about a month ago, but they still haven't been put into service because the facility is waiting for parts to complete the installation in the spinning room. It would be nice to see a faster turnaround on getting new equipment available for members.

But they were pretty sneaky about the change in ownership and raised their fees without announcing it, because they had signs saying there was new management, but not mentioning there would be any change in membership fees to look out for. When I started noticing every month I was being charged an insane amount, I told them and asked why that was happening and they said with the new ownership there was a raise in fees. They also did admit that I was actually still being overcharged "accidentally" and they had been finding their system had been doing this to "many" people. So they admitted it was their fault but still refused to refund the amount they had been overcharging me. But even when they lowered it, it was still the increased fee, which was not part of the contract I had signed when signing up for the gym. When I told them this, they tried to gaslight me that I had always been paying the increased fee despite my bank records proving otherwise, and when I asked them to pull out my physical contract I signed in person, they said they lost a lot of contracts while doing a transfer of stuff under new management and couldn't find it. The amenities might be great here, but the company became a gross, manipulative, and exploitative thing. Finally I demanded to cancel my membership since I realized they can cheat me out of my money whenever and then refuse to refund me even when they admit it was their mistake, and that was like $400. I'm still upset about this because they completely ruined a great place

When an extra amenity such as the hydro bed is reserved, many times it's either not working or other members sneak in and grab your time. If you point that out the staff does nothing about it. When equipment breaks or needs maintenance - which is often - it takes forever to get it working. They profess to be a quality operation and may on the surface appear to be, but don't be fooled, this is a shoddy and shady ripoff company.

You will hear all kinds of sales talk and "special offers" pushing you toward a 3-year agreement. It may sound like a good deal, but with just one signature, you're locked into a three-year obligation. And it doesn't stop there. Every year, they charge an additional "maintenance fee" that they decide. So the amount you think you're agreeing to pay is not even the real total. What you sign and what you actually end up paying are not the same. On top of that, if you don't enroll in autopay, they charge you an extra $14-$15 every month. But they don't clearly show you where or how to set up autopay in the portal. Instead, you get bounced around different systems and portals, and somehow you end up with extra charges. It feels like too many tricks designed to squeeze more money out of customers. Canceling is even worse. You're required to send a certified letter to a P.O. Box just to cancel. There's no real person to deal with. You have to document every step yourself. If they claim they didn't receive your certified mail, you could find yourself stuck in another three-year contract. At that point, you may even have to consider legal action just to get out. This has been a major disappointment. The whole structure feels designed to trap customers into long-term payments rather than provide honest service. Save yourself the stress. Take your money somewhere transparent, professional, and respectful of its members.

We decided not to continue because of the medical emergency and we canceled our membership. To our surprise, the payments did not stop. It auto renewed for 3 more months and charged us another $720. After multiple calls and txts to the fitness manager, and other staff, nothing. Very frustrating and disappointing. We were hoping to come back after surgery and continue personal training but it doesn't look like we will. I'm still waiting for a response and will post if they decide to help us.

I was using the leg press, put the safety bars back, and walked over to get a spray bottle to clean it when the mechanism suddenly crashed down. It made such a loud noise that everyone in the gym turned around to make sure I was okay. I was honestly shocked it fell. If you have the Advanced membership, you get access to the water massage chairs and the tanning room. But just a heads-up if you're a bigger person: the tanning isn't a traditional bed, it's a tiny stand-up booth. I had to hold my arms over my head the whole time and still kept brushing up against the sides. On the positive side, the staff on-site was very friendly, and I liked that you could get your body mass checked once a month. But corporate is greedy. When I signed up, I explicitly told them I only wanted one month. They told me to just cancel through the app in two days so I wouldn't get billed again. An employee literally walked me through the app to cancel it right there in the gym. Next month rolls around, and they charge me anyway. I gave them the exact date, time, and name of the employee who helped me, and I've emailed them about eight times over the past few months with zero response. If they overcharge you, don't expect to get your money back. If you cancel, make sure you completely delete your payment method off your account so they don't steal your money.
