Known for youth and other soccer club supplies in the area, and they are well respected. Today…read morethey earned my loyalty. Most soccer parents know the window between ordering uniforms for the upcoming fall season and the season itself is somewhat small. Therefore, opportunities to correct errors is even smaller and can be quite challenging, but my experience today proved Soccer Plus is up to the task. We went to Soccer Plus and my daughter tried on similar uniforms for accuracy in ordering her size. Unfortunately when the order came back, one jersey (while fitted and ordered properly) came back much tighter than the "try on" experience. Expecting the worst case scenarios of buying another and waiting weeks for it to be ready we drove to Soccer Plus (over 20 miles from home) and asked what we could do. Before we knew it we were walking out with a larger fitting jersey prepped with number and club seal while we waited "no additional charge"! Kudos to you Soccer Plus! I will be returning for ALL my soccer needs. (regardless of any potential convenience or lower cost at big chains) Customer service in the USA lacks nowadays, so I reward it when I experience it. Thanks again Soccer Plus!

Making our way through Ohio, we made a stop in Dayton to visit eRockets. I felt like I was 10…read moreyears old again and lost in Willy Wonka's candy factory! This place is packed wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling with rockets! I had the pleasure of meeting the proprietor of eRockets, Randy B., who channels his passion for the hobby into his business and it shows! It's not an easy thing to say that you have the world's largest selection of flying model rocket kits, but they have an entire warehouse to back that up! I've been buying their products for years online and eRockets is the best! Semroc is their main brand since they bought that company a few years back and produce some nice quality cloned products that are no longer in production and they do it almost entirely in-house in addition to all the on-line orders flying out the door. Classic rocket designs from the 60's, 70's & 80's are now reproduced for a new generation to enjoy. They also carry the full line of standard Estes kits, as well as other less known brands such as MPC, LOC Precision, Rocketarium, NewWay, Dr Zooch, Fliskits and many others. You can't help but walk out with a boatload of stuff. To promote the hobby, they also have in-house building events on Tuesday nights with a local rocket club and launch events at different locations in the area. And who is the cutest mascot of eRockets? Elon the Bunny! He has the run of the whole place and is very friendly. Pet him but don't pick him up. He's even litter box trained, so you won't find a single rabbit pellet on the shiny floor, but watch out for some of his carrots!

I'm happy to upgrade from 1 star to 3, just for the slow response. And, I'll consider doing business with eRockets in the future. Be sure to allow plenty of time for delivery - just in case. ORIGINAL POST I ordered from eRockets using their online store. Everything there went fine. I found what I wanted and they have a great selection. The reputation of eRockets is pretty outstanding in the online community, so I thought that this would be a safe bet. Completed my order and paid using PayPal. All is great until... Almost a week later and my order is still "pending fulfillment." Thinking something may have gone wrong with the order or payment, I sent an email and have received no reply. There's no phone number on their website. I found a number here on Yelp - and it's out of service. At this point, eRockets has my payment. The charge is already settled at PayPal - funds are already transferred to eRockets. I have no indication that anyone at the store has seem my order - and for that matter, I can't even confirm that this business is still open. I'm willing to accept that something has gone sideways - crap happens. But right now, it's a black hole that I have to dispute with my credit card company.

How does it get better than that?? Seriously this store, even situated in Ohio as it is is impressive. They had all the classic buckeye gear, flags, tailgate accessories, clothes, stuff for your baby if you have such.... pretty complete selection of gear. The only reason this wouldn't be a 5 star is that since it is situated in a mall, you're paying mall prices. I still bought a fair amount of gear because there was stuff here I hadn't seen anywhere else. Just FYI, this place is owned by Cardboard Heroes which is also around the corner in the mall. This place is definitely a must hit if you are in the market for Buckeye Gear.... oh, and GO BUCKS.
