I am so late in posting this review but better late than never…read more I replaced my old eyesore blinds with vertical cellular shades, based on Peter's recommendations, and I am so happy with the results. I opted for white in both the living and bedroom areas. I love how the bedroom has the blackout feature and how both retract so close to the edges. Also thought it was a great value too. He gave me some really great options for sliding doors as I really didn't want vertical slat blinds again. I know Peter and Budget Blinds have replaced a lot of my neighbors' window treatments too so he came with a lot of great reviews and recommendations by word of mouth. I was also told that Budget Blinds will replace my blinds as a one time courtesy should there be any materials damages, I.e., flood damage, fire, etc. I would need to cover the cost of labor but the actual blinds would be replaced gratis. I would pay the additional labor, which is more than reasonable. Highly recommend.

That said, we found these guys based on the recommendation of our builder who has done a lot of work with them. I can't say enough good things about just how well-organized and dependable these guys are. While they have their share of samples at their store - what makes their service so good is the fact they will come to your home with tons of samples in their trucks to help you get the best possible sense of what your prospective blinds will look like in your own home. That is a huge deal because often times it really is difficult to truly get a gauge of how your blinds will look unless you see it firsthand yourself in your own home. These guys spared absolutely no effort in bringing lots of examples to our (then-empty) home. They walked through a lot of options and helped us visualize how they would look by placing the samples in our windows. They were very patient during the process and gave a lot of honest opinions about the best possible options based on price and budget. On the day of the installation - they were extremely efficient. We have more than 30 windows in our home so it was a pretty big task. However, they were fast, expedient and did a fantastic job overall. The end product was beautiful and though we bought a variety of different blinds (from the most high-end Hunter Douglas/automatic option to more budget-minded options in smaller rooms) - we were really pleased with the color coordination and how it all turned out. They also cleaned up quickly and left the house in great shape. They also returned on a later date to help us set up our automatic blinds and configure the wifi settings. Again they were patient, efficient and spre no effort in making sure things were tip top before leaving. Blinds are a pretty big investment - especially if you live in a big house with lots of windows - or if you're looking to buy higher-quality names. It's really important to find the right people who are great at their work and are transparent with buyers about their budget options. These guys are absolutely 100% great on all fronts and I strongly recommend anyone who's furnishing their home and need blinds/curtains to check these guys out. It turns out I had no reason to be suspicious, they are great! I live in a cookie cutter apartment building and just needed simple, sturdy roller shades for my two big apartment windows. Frank came by with his sample books and helped me pick out shades for each window. I went with a slightly transparent shade for my living room (you can see outside but it filters bright sunlight out) and a blackout shade for my bedroom (nice and dark, like a cave!). Ordering was simple and he told me it would be 4 weeks (cool). Pricing was very reasonable as well. Frank called me 2 weeks later and said my order was ready - EARLY. With supply chain issues all over the place I definitely did not expect that. He sent over the insurance stuff for my building right away and we scheduled an install date. On the day of the install, Frank and his assistant didn't show up on time - THEY WERE EARLY. (This is rare for me in NYC!) The install was quick, they cleaned up, and had everything ready to go within 2 hours. The roller shades have been great for me - they've held up nicely and the color matches my apartment well. Our Pilates…read morestudio needed both shades and drapes, and the first quote we received was from The Shade Store, which was insane, so we immediately brought out several more companies for a consult. Darby was super knowledgable, he understood exactly what we needed, and the prices were very reasonable compared to most of the competition. Because our Studio has two full walls of windows, we need to keep the sun out but also wanted something lighter for an aesthetic look and for some privacy. Darby suggested we do a UV Sun shade closest to the window, and then another track of drapes which we can pull when it's less sunny or at night when we don't need the full sun blocking. So we ordered both blinds and drapes, and both were done within the timeframe Darby initially quoted us (which was faster than the industry standard from what I experienced meeting other companies). The delivery and installation process was also great, as they were quite flexible working with our schedule around all the other work being done in our studio. Stretch the installer was wonderful. The final result is absolutely beautiful, and one of our instructors just today said "I feel like I'm in a spa." I met with 5 different local companies and I can 100% recommend this one and if we build another studio or need something done for our house there is no question we'll be back :)

I was given last minute notice by the window contractor but Jon Mangano was able to fit me into his busy schedule. They came highly recommended by my building and I can see why. They arrived on time, did a neat and professional job, and when the new windows were installed, they promptly returned to reinstall the vertical blinds. They actually did a better job reinstalling than the originally company that installed them. The price was very reasonable and I highly recommend them.
