3 Stars....because everyone (aside from Alana the receptionist - who bullied me) is extremely nice. I have had excellent teeth cleaning there. But....when it has comes to getting cavities filled and crowns...this dental office looks like a scam. Dr. Vasantha Lakshmi Pedarla has no references or reviews ANYWHERE on the internet. She has no history that I am able to locate. She has been there for months and no reviews on her work from anyone, except for one review saying she was nice and she is nice. But, I can't let her work on my teeth, especially putting crowns on, that could end up on tooth loss if not done Right. Spring View is owned by Heartland Dental DSO, a huge corportation that employs hundreds of dentists around Springfield MO, but doesn't care about updating their website's to give the patient the vital information that is needed. I've had poor dentistry from beautiful offices with darling new dentists and 3 teeth fell out after 2 years of having crowns put on them. I pray to never have that experience again. That is why I am choosing to locate another dentist office. Hopefully, one not owned by Heartland Dental DSO. read more

Wow, it was bad... haven't experienced such rude customer service in awhile. Made an appointment, was 5 minutes late because of traffic in Branson. Was refused service by rude front desk person. There was no communication that I needed to arrive before the appointed time. Rescheduling was not an option, and definitely would not want to comeback to this place anyway. They do not care about your circumstances, so be warned and make sure you're early because no excuses will be accepted:) By the way they've blocked the reviews on Google! This is the best dental office I've ever had. The hygienists are very friendly, and the front staff is also very friendly. I never have to wait more than a few minutes to be taken back to my appointment, and I never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for the dentist. The dentist, I think her name is Heather, is easily the nicest dentist I've ever had. She's super down to earth. She doesn't make me uncomfortable like a lot of dentists have in the past. From what I can tell, the prices are comparable to any other dentist office I've had. As long as they are compatible with my dental insurance, I will continue going here. My husband goes here too and has always had good experiences. read more

Spring View Dental is one of the best dental offices I've been to in a very long time! I've been to them 4 times now. The most recent was a chipped tooth while on vacation. I had a scheduled appointment today that I needed desperately , I arrived on time. I go to the front desk and they tell me they canceled my appointment and I need to reschedule. They tell me they called multiple times with multiple voicemails. I show them my call log and my voicemails to inform them to stop the lies, Someone else came out and informed me of what was supposed to happen for scheduling appointments and confirming them. ( I did call them and left a voicemail letting them know) ( they said they never got it) ( I have proof) they didn't seem to care about their patients and the emergency care I needed. I felt like I just got dumped for someone else. Felt disrespected and unwanted. This was very unprofessional on their part. I never got an apology and I spent my drive home in tears. read more

I have had a bad experience with Spring view dental care, I went in for evaluation and they gave me a print out of the services that I need along with a scheduling that would be followed. However when I went back for the next scheduled part of my treatment. They didn't tell me that the crowns weren't in and proceeded with the next part of the treatment which I had told them up front that because of insurance situations that I would have to do that later. They tell me after the fact that it takes 3 weeks to get the crowns in yet they scheduled me in two weeks knowing that they could not do the service. This is not acceptable, I see now it is all about the money. I e-mailed them about my concerns but have not heard back fro them. I did not call because I am deaf and cannot hear. It is no use to talk with them directly because if they couldn't get it right the first time, why should I think they could correct it the second time around. If you're looking for a dental office that has great communication skills, cares about their patients, and a competent admin staff, do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE. I have been going to Spring View for over 4 years and they have dentists come and go, every 6 months I have had a different person cleaning my teeth (except for the last two times, she was a nice lady so I hope if she sees this she knows she is doing a great job and to keep it up). I have had issues with them billing my insurance wrong after I updated information, which took over 7 months to get ironed out because they dropped the ball several times. Every time I need work done they neglect to explain exactly what is needed, they just give you a printout of what insurance will pay for and send you on your way . I have had numerous other issues with them that I probably don't have the character limit to explain so I will leave it there. Dr. Melson comes across as very arrogant and condescending. Talked over me to his assistant and made the comment that the cheaper option for a partial would work since, "She's going to lise those other teeth soon anyway." My first partial was "lost" because they use Walgreens to ship things instead of going straight through GedEx, UPS, or USPS. Once I finally got my partial, I was given no care instructions and was told there were lots of products on the market. Upon checking out I asked for a refund check for my balance and was told it would take 4-6 weeks. When I expressed my shock that it would take that long to the clerk I was dealing with, another female staff member inserted herself in the conversation with, "It's company policy, ma'am." I again responded that it was a long time and the same comment was made in a snarky tone. This was repeated another two times as I was leaving with each instance louder than the last. I have complained to their corporate office whee I was treated with empathy dignity, unlike the office. I would not recommend this dental clinic to my worst enemy! If I could give less than one star I would!!! read more

So I felt the need comment after reading Nada's review which sounds to me like she's a major "Karen" with a bob that screams "I WANNA TO TALK TO THE MANAGER". They need imaging to make sure there is nothing going on under the surface. If you can't understand that perhaps they aren't the problem and you just hear whatever the hell it is you want to hear. I went there after I had a wisdom tooth pulled at the dental ER and needed to have another pulled. The extraction was a pain the butt and Dr. Logan had trouble grabbing it because it was broken but after having significant pain after the Dental ER extraction I expected some pretty bad pain after but to my surprise it was like half the pain. Every single person was kind and caring. Don't let that Karen's review deter you. read more

Terrible experience with this office. They require extra X-rays as per their "policy" even if you have no complaints to warrant investigation. Fair enough if that is their policy but they should explain this to a patient before they start zapping you with the imaging. When questioned the hygienist became offended and huffy. So unprofessional. Next thing she walks out of the office and the practice manager comes in and staying we cannot treat you if you do not take the images. Another unprofessional "manager". If they have any sense they would try to understand why I was upset and explain things properly. Glad to be out of there and i would not recommend this practice due to their attitude. Note: My daughter was seen by Dr Logan on another visit and he was totally professional. But the hygenist there (Alton) and office manager need some proper training. read more

We love Dr. Jones! We have been seeing her for 2 years now. The wait time is usually very short and the staff is super friendly. Our kids love her too! We have a son with Autism that has had many tears with other dentists but, not Dr. Jones! He walks right in with a smile on his face and he always walks out with one too. While the staff I had was friendly they didn't explain that even though my insurance covers a yearly cleaning and new patient exam that they needed to charge an additional 250 out of pocket for x-rays that aren't covered. Special X-rays, they called them and fluoride was not covered either it was 50 out of pocket, called my insurance company and all of this was covered as I had stated when asking about cost. I'm a young girl in my twenties. Went here and the male dental assistant tried to tell me I needed to pay 700 dollars that day to have a deep cleaning or else my teeth were going to fall out. The more I said I didnt have that kind of money that day he acted frustrated and unfriendly. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and he said I was fine and didn't need a deep cleaning and just needed to floss and keep up with annual cleaning. And the three cavities springview said I had weren't full blown cavities and don't need filling. To sum it up, this office will not be sucking money out of me. Will be looking for a new dentist. They do not have dentists available or on call on Friday's. Last night a crown they put in last December fell out while flossing and they have no one available to cement the crown back on. I will have to go with an exposed tooth the rest of the weekend. I also had a chipped tooth repaired 2 weeks ago and the repair fell out the following weekend. read more

I am a younger and uninsured patent who was in need of a root canal. I was in so much pain. I called Spring View Dental Care that day and got in 3 hours later. They had options for a payment plan that was comfortable for me (since I was paying out of pocket for this procedure) Dr. Jones scheduled my root canal and gave me antibiotics that day. Later that night I was in tears from the pain and at 8:30pm they went through the trouble of making sure I got a pain medication called in. I was grateful for the instant relief. The dental assistants we so kind and caring. Dr. Jones was considerate, friendly, and made it very clear that non of my procedure was supposed to hurt. My tooth feels so much better. I have never had an experience like this at a dentist. I have always dreaded going. I was blown away by the kindness shown by everyone at this office. read more

After researching several dentist in Springfield and talking with numerous patients, I settled on Dr Jones, DDS. So before I went in I knew where she studied and did her residency, and she was recommended by friends, but in a world filled with disappointments and hype--her practice shines. Both she and her staff are pleasant and efficient, Have them show you the independent dental insurance if you aren't already covered--it might save you some money. I'd say she is moderately priced which is a real bargain for top notch work. She connects well with patients and explains treatment options in understandable terms. Strongly recommend. read more
