We got the privilege of staying in the Hamburg suite. It was like walking into a guest room of a mansion. Brick accent wall, deep wood accents, stone tile washroom. So quite, I got a sense of solitude. The mattress was awesome. I believe it was a temperpedic. After the game we came back for a late bite to eat. Now I travel 40 weeks a year. And I thought I would be settling for "hotel food" . Boy was I wrong. I had the tenderloin sliders, and they were delicious. Great stay, fantastic food, great nights sleep. Good option for a game weekend. As info, i have played the golf course before. It is always in good shape and worth packing the clubs.

To the point raised: *) I have NEVER seen 8 people in a group on any course. *) Claimed to be stuck behind a group of 8 (which he stated played the front nine in 2 hours. That would be blazingly fast and nearly impossible for a group of 8. Either fake review, or non-sense.

I was invited to attend a company golf outing and while I didn't play golf, I was able to…read moreexperience the full course and professional team at Kearney Hill Links. The carts were lined up for our guests hours before the event, tagged and arranged in order by their starting hole. They'd also set up two tables for us to use at registration. We were able to use any golf cart to ride around the course and visit with guests. While I can't speak to the difficulty of the course (par was 72), it was beautiful and very clean. A lady drove around a drink cart with sodas, beers and snacks. She was very friendly and treated our guests well. The team also provided us with a shade canopy where we judged a closest to the pin contest. I also appreciated that we were able to provide our guests with cold water bottles and peanut butter crackers without it being an issue we hadn't purchased the items from them. We were also able to have a vendor bring their trailer and unload a huge grill to make lunch for our guests. After grabbing a plate we used their upstairs clubhouse to eat and reward the day's winners. Their team was right beside our reps putting up scores and measuring closest to the pin. Ample parking, maintained course, friendly team. I'm confident our company will be back next year!

I talked to Yancey Markum at Keene Trace and had a great experience and a beautiful shower. The food was good and plentiful. I am very picky about fresh fruit platters and said "market fresh" only berries, pineapple, and honeydew. It was perfect. The décor and presentation was also great. I really liked that juices, soft drinks, and coffee was included in the set price. There were no surprises and the waitstaff was attentive and the mimosas and bloody marys were delicious. It was a pleasure to do this event. The only hitch was we couldn't start the fireplace before the guests arrived but it was already a warm day so we didn't need it. A really pretty country venue in horse country only minutes from Keeneland for a wedding or shower. Or whatever. You will not be disappointed.
