We got the privilege of staying in the Hamburg suite. It was like walking into a guest room of a mansion. Brick accent wall, deep wood accents, stone tile washroom. So quite, I got a sense of solitude. The mattress was awesome. I believe it was a temperpedic. After the game we came back for a late bite to eat. Now I travel 40 weeks a year. And I thought I would be settling for "hotel food" . Boy was I wrong. I had the tenderloin sliders, and they were delicious. Great stay, fantastic food, great nights sleep. I was invited to attend a company golf outing and while I didn't play golf, I was able to…read moreexperience the full course and professional team at Kearney Hill Links. The carts were lined up for our guests hours before the event, tagged and arranged in order by their starting hole. They'd also set up two tables for us to use at registration. We were able to use any golf cart to ride around the course and visit with guests. While I can't speak to the difficulty of the course (par was 72), it was beautiful and very clean. A lady drove around a drink cart with sodas, beers and snacks. She was very friendly and treated our guests well. The team also provided us with a shade canopy where we judged a closest to the pin contest. I also appreciated that we were able to provide our guests with cold water bottles and peanut butter crackers without it being an issue we hadn't purchased the items from them. We were also able to have a vendor bring their trailer and unload a huge grill to make lunch for our guests. After grabbing a plate we used their upstairs clubhouse to eat and reward the day's winners. Their team was right beside our reps putting up scores and measuring closest to the pin. Ample parking, maintained course, friendly team. I'm confident our company will be back next year!

They treat you like its an honor for them to have you there. It is a great learning environment whether you are trying to break 100 or break par. I'm am biased as I have benefitted from their expertise and have nothing but praise for all the teaching professionals and staff. No other place in KY compares to this facility for learning the game. Glad I get to practice there and be treated like I belong.

It makes so much of a difference with firm true greens. Bunkers and tee boxes are well taken care of aligned with great fairways. Wildcat in my humble opinion is a better (traditional golf) layout with more character to the course. If they placed real sand in the bunkers and made the greens firm and superfast; this place would be outstanding. Great layouts on both but I wish the greens on both were absolutely firm and fast. Only downfall. Prices are actually reasonable in comparison to most courses. Staff is great as well. 3.5 for both

I'm not as much of a golfer than I am a good wife, so I find myself at random golf courses about…read moreonce a year. Kentucky has gorgeous golf courses and this one is no exception. I love the fact that you can book directly from the Yelp app, that automatically gets a star from me. I have to admit though, my husband booked from a different site and when we got there I noticed that we can go through here... for less $$! Our tee time was 8:15. No, I don't like waking up that early on a Saturday morning, but remember... I mentioned that I'm a good wife. When we arrived, the manager/owner or whoever he was, came out and talked to me and was very nice. Like at most other courses, we started out with a Gatorade and a candy bar. They have random ice cold water coolers throughout the course too, which I thought was a very nice touch. There were at least three holes that had to be played over ponds. So if you like that challenge, you will love this course. Let's just say that we lost a lot of balls. Some of the balls ended up in the woody areas surrounding the course, which I thought was a bit too close to be so brushy this early in the year... it's not even summer. Another oddity is the busy roads that surround some holes. That's where the brush and woods should be, to guard the windshields. It started to get very busy on the course. Most people were in groups, so they let us go ahead, there's a lot to golfing etiquette. If you're afraid of bridges, stay away. There was a very scary one that you have to cross that can use a lot of work. Overall it's a nice, older, inexpensive course that can use some changes or updates. Until then, we will settle for the low cost.

However it all makes up for it with the back 9 I got to say the back of the course is the most peaceful part of the whole course. You don't hear anything but birds and golf clubs. 10/10 play this course at least twice a week.
