I talked to Yancey Markum at Keene Trace and had a great experience and a beautiful shower. The food was good and plentiful. I am very picky about fresh fruit platters and said "market fresh" only berries, pineapple, and honeydew. It was perfect. The décor and presentation was also great. I really liked that juices, soft drinks, and coffee was included in the set price. There were no surprises and the waitstaff was attentive and the mimosas and bloody marys were delicious. It was a pleasure to do this event. The only hitch was we couldn't start the fireplace before the guests arrived but it was already a warm day so we didn't need it. A really pretty country venue in horse country only minutes from Keeneland for a wedding or shower. Or whatever. You will not be disappointed.

They treat you like its an honor for them to have you there. It is a great learning environment whether you are trying to break 100 or break par. I'm am biased as I have benefitted from their expertise and have nothing but praise for all the teaching professionals and staff. No other place in KY compares to this facility for learning the game. The sand traps are mud traps, we have standing rule to lay out of traps so you don't ruin a club. The greens could use some TLC, but their OK. The pro shop last year (15) was just a room. There was nothing in it to purchase. The good news is we have been advised new managers are working there and should be better. Great course layout.

Review did not make sense, checked user and has only given 1 star for all reviews. To the point raised: *) I have NEVER seen 8 people in a group on any course. *) Claimed to be stuck behind a group of 8 (which he stated played the front nine in 2 hours. That would be blazingly fast and nearly impossible for a group of 8. Either fake review, or non-sense.
