After the end of the funeral the next day they provided us the cards on all of the flowers at the service, thank you cards, and provided documents for next steps. They were good on the counseling and the little details that can make or break a service, and the service was dignified and meaningful, even in Covid times, with their videographer doing a great job. The video is posted for 90 days after the service, too, which is an important "extra," for people who could not make it to the service or the live streaming. We were very pleased.

Several times a year St. Boniface Cemetery has a "clean up". All beloved family items; statues, flowers and the like are picked up. The distressing part is their lack of respect as these items are thrown into an open dumpster, open for public viewing. I am especially disappointed in their handling of the American flag, unceremoniously thrown on the ground. This is so thoughtless and disrespectful! It leaves me with concerns about what else is going on that isn't so visual.

I came here to pay my respects to Emmett Kelly. Interestingly, there's a lack of information about…read moregetting to his grave, so I'd like to clear that up. Rest Haven has no sections that are clearly labeled for visitors, although he is theoretically in the Sunset Terrace section near the entrance. To get to him, you need to get through the second entrance. There's one entrance with a sign displaying the cemetery rules in front of a triangular plot of land, but that's not the right one for getting to him. You want to go to the second entrance, just a tiny bit farther down the road. You'll see a mailbox there immediately inside the cemetery. Drive through this entrance and park your car immediately. His section is going to be on your right. Walk past the trees that are on your right just a little bit and then walk further into the section. He's pretty close to the middle. If you hit the little area with the hedges surrounding it, you've gone too far. He's almost exactly in the middle of the section, but slightly more to the right. If you have trouble finding him still, I recommend downloading the Billion Graves app which has markers labeled by coordinates. This helped me get to him, but I still had to wander through the section a little bit. His stone is bronze and is VERY close to another row of stones. Rest Haven is not gated, so you can drive through there anytime--preferably daytime. One star off for not having sections labeled or some signage for visiting this American icon.

Therefore, my experience with Soller-Baker is very limited. In my short time I was there I was very pleased with the experience. The facility is very large which was needed to accommodate our large group. The layout was very open, easy to manage in & out and comfortable. The decor was reasonably fresh and appropriate for the environment. We found the facility very clean and well organized. There was plenty of parking close to the entrance. Upon coming in the door the host team was very respectful and helpful. They were kind and gracious as they should be.

Went here to go to a showing for a friend. The usher named "D. M," would not let me look for a…read moreplace to pray. I understand that you must wait in line to greet family and to visit the casket. I just wanted to take a seat and pray for the deceased. I was berated by "D. M." as if I were a child. I will never want my showing/visitation at this funeral home.
