This is not a Verizon company store and is an "authorized retailer" which is not clearly noted…read moreanywhere inside or outside of the store. I didn't know until after I had purchased the phone and saw the receipt doesn't say Verizon Wireless it says "Your Wireless". I had to go here 3 times, once to purchase the phone, once to pick up the phone, and once to hand in my old phone and dealt with the same rude employee with a bad attitude all 3 times (I'll be nice & won't post his name). Their terms and conditions are not the same as if you go to a company retailer and employees just assume you're aware of this. I'll probably never use an authorized retailer again in the future, but if I do it certainly won't be this one.

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.
