Despite making my payments, I did not see any meaningful progress. The collectors repeatedly told me that no one from the firm had contacted them to negotiate or establish a payment agreement. I was then served twice with another debt collection lawsuits while I believed the firm was handling these matters on my behalf. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, after I was served, the firm tried to charge me additional money to assist with the new lawsuits even though I had already been paying them to help resolve my debts and negotiate with the collectors. Based on my experience, there was a serious lack of communication, follow-through, and transparency. I trusted this firm to help resolve my debts, but I was left dealing with collectors and legal action myself while being asked to pay even more. I would not recommend Acosta Law Firm to anyone considering its debt consolidation or debt-negotiation services.
