Susan was very personable and put me at ease right away. I explained what I needed and Susan set right to work gathering the information. She talked with my lawyer to find out what he needed and set about gathering the information. I even needed a Process Server and she was able to provide one for me. In the end, I was awarded custody of my granddaughter. Fast forward to 2019. My son passed away unexpectedly and I called Susan. She guided me and helped me through all the paperwork that was needed to arrange for son's final resting place. Every time I mentioned I needed something, Susan said she could take care of it. She was the Private Investigator for my child custody case. She was the Chaplain that performed the Memorial Service for my son and she was the Notary Public for papers I needed notarized. Susan is very professional and knowledgeable. Through all of this, she kept checking on me to make sure I had followed up on the tasks I needed to take care. I would highly recommend Gulf Coast Investigative Services and Susan if you need a private investigator, notary or Chaplain. She really is The Praying PI.

He's a liar and doesn't do what he says he will. Also, he's always super late to court. Probably…read morethe biggest problem I had with him, was he would do things without first talking to me about it. I never knew everything going on with my case until the last minute. He and his paralegal put a sloppy packet together for the prosecutor; it had incorrect information in it including my charge. It made me look even worse than my original crime. I'm sure Matt is okay for small, petty crimes. If you have something serious look elsewhere. He doesn't have a good track record with serious/big cases. Just google him in news reports and see what happened to his clients. That alone should scare you away. Don't live with the regret of hiring this guy, knowing you received a huge warning here. I felt completely overwhelmed looking at all the required paperwork I would need to complete on my own and had absolutely no clue where to even begin. On top of everything, having to go home at the end of the day and be the best parent I could be for my kids...the stress of it all really began to take its toll. One morning, I began looking online for some legal support to help me move through such a huge process. It was then that I found Layli. This was the first time I had ever hired legal representation for myself, so I wasn't even sure what I was looking for, but when we spoke for the first time, she put me completely at ease and made me feel confident that I could do this with her support. From the beginning, she was honest, efficient, and extremely thorough, and was an extremely knowledgeable thought-partner while I was trying to figure out custody details. Even throughout the County's Shelter in Place, I felt comfortable knowing my case was prioritized and being taken care of by Layli. From beginning to end, I knew I was being represented by an incredible attorney. Thank you, Layli, for being fantastic at what you do and showing me so much care throughout this entire process. I cannot recommend her enough!

I was fortunate that my…read morechildren's custody case was as straightforward as it was, because if it hadn't been, I would have needed a second job just to cover their fees. From the start, it became clear that they were more interested in racking up billable hours than actually helping me and my child through this difficult process. Every single interaction was an opportunity for them to charge me. Every minute of a phone call, every single email sent or received, every moment spent on even the smallest of tasks -- it was all billed at an exorbitant rate. When my lawyer was let go unexpectedly, I was shocked to learn that they charged me to bring the new attorney up to speed on my case. I couldn't believe it -- after all the money I'd already spent, they were essentially holding me hostage with even more charges. It felt like they were dragging things out intentionally to milk every last dollar from me. This firm is not interested in your well-being or the best interests of your children; they are only interested in their bottom line. They will string you along, offering false hope and empty promises, all while ensuring their invoices keep growing. I deeply regret ever hiring them and would advise anyone considering their services to think twice. Your case deserves better than to be treated like a cash cow.
