Going through a divorce is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. It was especially more…read moredifficult because I was not only splitting up with my spouse, but I needed to make sure it was the best decision for my children as well. I felt completely overwhelmed looking at all the required paperwork I would need to complete on my own and had absolutely no clue where to even begin. On top of everything, having to go home at the end of the day and be the best parent I could be for my kids...the stress of it all really began to take its toll. One morning, I began looking online for some legal support to help me move through such a huge process. It was then that I found Layli. This was the first time I had ever hired legal representation for myself, so I wasn't even sure what I was looking for, but when we spoke for the first time, she put me completely at ease and made me feel confident that I could do this with her support. From the beginning, she was honest, efficient, and extremely thorough, and was an extremely knowledgeable thought-partner while I was trying to figure out custody details. Even throughout the County's Shelter in Place, I felt comfortable knowing my case was prioritized and being taken care of by Layli. From beginning to end, I knew I was being represented by an incredible attorney. Thank you, Layli, for being fantastic at what you do and showing me so much care throughout this entire process. I cannot recommend her enough!
