I attended the Advanced Track Days school at Ron Fellows Performance Driving School and was highly impressed by the overall experience. The facilities at Spring Mountain are first-rate, from the configurable tracks to the condo's/lodging to the clubhouse. It truly is a resort! The instructors are the best I've experienced anywhere. They use a highly structured curriculum across the continuum of courses, and as you work through a course you start to see the logic in how they start with basics and then progress to more and more advanced concepts. The start and ending points are optimized for the specific class you are taking! The instructors give actionable, positive feedback to help you get better, and they are amazing at observing you while they drive and giving real-time instruction. Finally, the cars are very well setup and are in great condition. There are a lot of performance driving schools around, but Ron Fellows delivers an exceptional experience that should be at the top of your list! read more

I took the 3 Day Corvette Driving School at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch and it was fantastic! I learned so much from blipping, scanning, and just holding the steering wheel differently in turns that has improved my regular driving quite a bit. I took a one day private class as I just bought a new 850 HP car and wanted to learn the capabilities of the it (and my own) without going to jail for trying it on the street. The experience was much better and much more helpful than I expected it to be. I leaned a LOT, including things that will help me forever in everyday normal driving. I spent nearly $120K for the car and needless to say was a bit nervous about wrecking it. But when I got there I saw that the track was extremely safe even when really pushing it. The instructor was a true professional in every respect. patient with my inexperience and mistakes and encouraging as I learned more and more as the lessons went on. It was a heck of a physical and mental workout, but well worth the time and money. If you buy a high performance car you should spend the extra bucks to really get to drive it and get to know it. And I can't imagine a better place to do so. I was REALLY glad I did and am sure you will be too. read more

Recently attended the 2- day Lotus Driving School at Spring Mountain and had a wonderful experience. From Registration to Graduation, the experience was excellent. Each excercises built upon the previous and after each short didactic session, you applied what you had learned in the actual car. This ultimately culminated into you being let loose for "open lapping" sessions at the end. Being my first time on a track and a new Lotus owner, the experience could not be beat. This course taught me a lot about driving my car and achieving balance at speed. What I had learned in two days was well worth the investment into the course. The facilities are top notch and ALL the instructors were patient and supportive...pushing you to your OWN limits. read more

We went here while we were in Vegas back in February, and it was one of the best parts of the weekend, by far! Our group signed up for the half day package with the Grand Sport Corvettes, as none of us had ever driven on a track before. Rick and his team showed us all a great time. We learned and practiced the principals of heel and toeing, apexing corners, best path, and even a timed trial run for the best time of the group. There was plenty of actual behind-the-wheel time around the track doing lead-and-follow laps with Rick and the crew going over the aforementioned techniques. I would definitely would recommend this place to any adrenaline junkie, like myself! I also just got back from the three day level one class. Everything everyone said is true. The place is fantastic. Ultra clean and ultra professional. The cars are maintained top shelf. This was such a fun time for us! The classes were informative even for people not as knowledgeable about Corvette's. The instructors are extremely professional and patient. I just attended the two day corvette driving school as a guest of my brother Dan who purchased a new 2015 stingray. First I have to say what a great complex. They have spared no expense to set up a super racing / family environment. This is truly a first class program. From the lead instructors to the training personal all the best you could find. I was really impressed on how each of the training personal took a personal interest in each of the corvette owners personal skill sets, and how to improve there skills, and self confidence with the car. As I road with the trainers and personally witnessed there ability to "at speed" coach and mentor each corvette owner on how to efficiently and safely maximize speed and control in the approaches to the turns and through the turns using the different techniques taught during the class time. It was the best racing school I have ever attended. Even though I was not driving my previous experience racing told me this program is how it should be done. Plus when you see the first class condos they have available to rent while on site training along with the other activities for your family including a great club house and membership programs your first though is WOW why didn't someone think of this before.....Well Done. I went to spring mountain resort in Pahrump this weekend with my boyfriend, who was racing his Ariel Atom for the first time. I was quite hesitant about going. But to my surprise it turned out to be an incredible weekend. The race track was given a 5 star rating by the 15 drivers in his group. The resort had upscale rooms with resort-style amenities (pool, fitness center) all were exceptional. The staff was always very friendly. I must say I can't wait to return for a little R&R. I herd they will be opening a lake around July with all types of water sports. read more

I went their for a Cadillac V Academy 2 day driving school and as was very impressed. The facility is top notch, instructors and staff are very helpful and patient. This place has it all, awesome cars that are fast and well maintained, the track is large and the grounds maintained very well. I did not get to use all the amenities (pool, fitness center, gun range, mini golf) but I went their to drive and relax at night and thats exactly what I did. I stayed in one of their condos and it to was maintained well and very comfortable. I don't have one bad thing to say about my stay, the school is worth the money you will not be disappointed. read more

I can't say enough about this place. The instructors are first-rate and so is the experience. If you really want to learn how to drive a car this is the place to go. They will teach you all about how to properly drive a car. How it handles, how to brake, and how to accelerate. The condos are roomy, nicely decorated and well-furnished. This was our second trip to Spring Mountain but my first time to drive. I was very nervous about trying it but all of the instructors are amazing and did a great job helping me succeed and finish the course. I had a great time and enjoyed seeing our friends again. Very well rounded course with a nice balance of class time and track time. The instructors go above and beyond to help you learn and have fun. Yes, the race courses are AWESOME, and yes the workers really CARE, and yes the food is DELICIOUS, and yes, the instructors know more than any ATTENDEE, but what you really need to know is this is where I never expected to meet " The Most Beautiful Girl in The World " . Her name is " STINGRAY " . She had a girlfriend with her by the name of " CARRERA S " . What really surprised me was that although Carrera S was twice the price , Stingray's manor was much smoother and whenever I asked her, she outperformed Carrera S in every possible way .In fact , the WONDERFUL people in charge allowed me to try both and I'm happy to report that STINGRAY wore me out . My husband just attended the 2 day Ron Fellows Performance Driving School for new Corvette Stingray owners. I accompanied him as a guest and we both had an great time. Included with the school was an overnight stay in one of their trackside condos along with breakfast and lunch both days. Everything was first class. He said the instructors were all helpful, informative and friendly. He had the time of his life. They go out of their way to make the guests of the students feel part of the program. Offering ride alongs both days with their professional drivers. My husband said it gave him much more appreciation for our new Stingray after taking one out on the track. The instructors will safely guide you past your comfort level, adding new skills and more speed each session so you can really appreciate this fantastic car.
