It is a very well kept course with very highly maintained greens that you can tell is a definite gem compared to the other courses around the area and is very well priced for the yardage seeing how normally short nine holers would be the same price. The gold attendant was a little rude when we were there when we walked on without calling to reserve on a Friday and we think he just was doing it more because he was annoyed at us but other than that little hiccup, definitely check this little place out. I also lived that other golfers were not right on top of us giving amateurs like me the heeby jeebies with people watching my hook or slice. Again check it out and clubhouse is great and wide open overlooking the 10th and the 18th holes.

They offer a beautiful 9-hole course with some forgiving wide fairways and some challenging uphill par 3s. They went under new ownership in 2020 and the owner has made some tremendous progress with improving the greens and clearing out some overgrown trees that were causing damage to the tall grass areas. I have family who plays here regularly and they offer a Turkey shoot, which is a fun scramble, just prior to closing up for the winter months. It's a great time had by all and for those who frequent the course and clubhouse, they are one big family of golfers. Everyone is part of the family when you choose to swing your clubs at Summit Springs Golf Course.

The course has elevation changes and the terrain challenges even the consistent ball strikers. Walking the front nine is easy while the back nine will give your legs a work out. A fun layout though. Sam, the new PGA golf pro, is helpful and friendly. The food and beverage service, provided by the Long Reach Kitchen and Catering company is excellent. Their staff is also friendly and helpful, the menu is varied, and their drink menu is fun. All and all, a great local golf course. The PGA may never play at the Bath Golf Club but it is a fun place. At 6:45 there was still enough light to wrap up the last hole but unfortunately we had only had a chance to play 13 holes so far due to extremely slow play. That is on pace for a 6 1/2 hour round. It had been just over three hours at the turn and when we commented on the slow play we were told the back nine would pick up due to fewer groups playing all 18 that day. Didn't happen. The issue, as we could tell, were the two groups of 8 players, each with four carts, playing a few holes in front of us. We passed them as we drove off the course int the last of the remaining daylight. There were two rangers in carts at the clubhouse when we started but we never saw one on the course. Great course conditions. Great layout. Terrible customer experience left me feeling ripped off.

Recently played the Maine State Golf Qualifier here at the arrowhead course. Superb condition…read moreconsidering it was early October. Front side on arrowhead is quite simple, short holes that climax at the 7th which is a 200 yard par 3 straight up hill. Back side is certainly a challenge with narrow fairways and elevated greens on almost every hole. Extremely friendly staff with a great snack shack in the club house.
