Anthony removed Old Hot Water Heater, put in new one, upgraded my sink, had all the parts, installed the guts of toilet tank with professionalism, efficiency, problem solver, delivers solutions to jobs, all given a fair shake. Mostly, he cares to get you up and running. Highly recommended. Jim T. read more

My elderly mother call Spring grove plumbing, she lives in Richmond Il. she wanted them to look at her septic pump in the basement because it kept running and wouldn't shut off. two guys came to the house and without even looking at the pump which only needed a $38.00 mercury float, told her she needs a new pump and told her it would cost $1,500.00?!?! A new 2" ejector pump list for $289.00. THESE PEOPLE ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A 87 YEAR OLD WOMAN! there is "NO" justification to charge $1,500.00. SPRING GROVE PLUMBING ARE RIPOFFS! "SHAME ON YOU GUYS!!" read more

Be sure to call around when using plumbing services to get 2nd opinions and quotes on items.i was a loyal customer to this plumbing company though no more cant be..Going forward i have to go elsewhere as this company used fear tactics to sell a hot water tank all because mine was considered old however my other tank was working well. The few times they were in my house not there for my hot water tank would always remind me about my tank Again the tank wasn't acting up at all. I now have a tank i didnt need yet and its so loud to the point i want it replaced. In addition ive had problems with a ejection pump purchased by them and though past the warranty the pump just isnt used much. This plumber was quick again to sell another 900$ pump. Currently after speaking with another plumber they thought it was from lack of use. It just seemed like the pump was fine once u touched the pipe. So i was woken 3 times in 3 weeks at 2am because of water in my furnace room. Thank god for my ring ( puck). Now im following another plumbers suggestion to just flush the toilet every day or two so the hard water dont cause the pump to get sticky from hard water ect. It apoeared the water conditioner went thru its cycle a few nights ago and the pump worked as it should. So i will continue the other plumbers suggestion. If this continues to work that does again tell me that spring grove plumbing instead of offering such an idea to resolve the issue wanted you sell another pump i may not need let alone cant afford. I sure hope this simple flushing daily gets the pump back to its workin ways. By the way this other plumber hasnt ever done work in my home. He was just a nice man who tried to help without taking money from me. So there it is folks. Will see how it goes. read more

Absolutely wonderful service. I was rushed for time due to work, so plumber picked up a needed item to unthaw frozen pipes. Very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Please consider this a zero star review. It is 4:00 PM in Lincoln Park on N Dayton Street. I live very close to multiple schools and playgrounds and there are children everywhere. This company sent a staff member with a terrible attitude and an even worse vocabulary. It was obvious that the hated his job and and that he was not knowledgeable in what he was doing. He loudly said "F***" every chance he got and engaged in solitary diatribes that I could only describe as profane. Examples of his rants included "Where the f**** is that thing?!", "It's the wrong f****en size, and it's made in f****en Vietnam". It went on and on inside and outside of the premises. Completely unprofessional, ignorant and inconsiderate. Do not hire. read more

I couldn't give a zero or i would have. I made an appointment. He didn't come, he didn't call to say he was delayed or couldn't make it. No service at all. read more

I used these guys for an emergency, came right away. I needed a garbage disposal installed after a new dishwasher was installed, when it drains the noise is so loud from the water going down the drain. I called and the guy said it was my dishwasher ( brand new Bosch ) and I should call an appliance guy . I told him out of courtesy he should come look at it since I paid 675.00 for the work he did I really didnt have the money to do that I don't think I need to do that but I did at 125.00 he says I need to call a plumber. I am very disappointed and will not recommend them. Good work but doesn't follow up and doesn't accept that he did something incorrectly. read more

Fair pricing, very knowledgeable, and excellent quality of work. Anthony installed a water softener(none previously installed) and a 3 stage whole house water filtration system. Hands down, one of the cleanest and best installs we've ever had! Anthony really knows his stuff and was super cool too! I will be using them for all of my future plumbings needs! 5 stars all day long- 10 out of 5, actually read more

This is our second time having Anthony and his staff provide us service with plumbing issues. Once again, we were extremely pleased. Along with their professionalism and integrity, they provided us with upfront details on what the job entailed and pricing. Eric I can't thank you enough. To tell everyone a long story short my wife put a science experiment down the garbage disposal !! I called spring Grove Plumbing and was upset he told me don't be mad it's repairable I will be there in a couple hours so then he even text me when he was 20 minutes away not used to having customer service like this so it gets better not only did he unclog all my drains he had a vacuum to keep it clean while he was rodding my pipes. That is exceptional if u ask me he didn't treat me like a customer he treated me like a human being !!! This was the best experience we have ever had so hey to the public this is your man if you need anything with plumbing this is your guy he puts his customers and his work first five stars in my book!!!! read more

Very good company to work with. They installed 2 sinks and an entire water system. Great work and reasonable priced. We had a few question and they were very helpful. read more

I have written before but it seem only the good reviews are displayed. this was one of the worst experiences of service I have ever had, not too mention I recently found the broken vase that this plumber left me hidden on a shelf so I wouldn't notice it right away. If you are smart, you will go elsewhere and find someone who is honest and does good work. read more

Spring Grove Plumbing is the most customer serviced focused plumbing company I have worked with. They are quick to respond, communicate well, and do good work, all at a fair price. Big jobs are no problem, and even small jobs get the attention needed. read more

I have to say that I am very impressed with the work the Spring Grove Plumbing provides. Erik provided me with the lowest of three quotes which initially had me on edge at first but I had decided to go with Spring Grove Plumbing because of the huge savings to my wallet. Monday they showed up just as expected and began performing the work as we had previously discussed. I left for a few errands and when I came back everything was installed and cleaned up just as if they were never even there. I have to say I don't write many reviews on here but when I truly think someone deserves it, I go out of my way to write a nice review. I will never use any other plumber. Thanks for the great work! read more

Very please with the service and response time. Price was communicated upfront and they met me at the time agreed upon (which never seems to happen with tradesmen.) read more

A HUGE thanks to Eric and his assistant! I was found myself in a time sensitive plumbing situation to undo a winterization that went wrong. A sale of my home was pending this problem to get fixed. Eric has very fair and excellent prices. His company shows up when they say they will unlike many others. He leaves the place just as it was found, if not better in my situation. HIGHLY recommend Spring Grove Plumbing for service that follows through with what they are set to do. They educate you on the problem at your level of understanding and offer cost effective plans that don't rob you like other "BIG NAME" companies have done. I will be using ONLY Spring Grove Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. read more

I asked Erik to come out and take a look at a slow drain from my prep sink in the garage. It had a mishmash of plumbing (plastic/pvc/galvanized/iron). He quickly found the clog and explained why it likely formed there. He cut out the old galvanized plumbing at my request and installed new pvc with gentle angles and a clean out so that if there's a clog in the future, I can easily snake it myself. He was in and out quickly and cleaned up after himself and his helper. He showed up when he said he would and his prices were reasonable. I'm somewhat new to the area and did not have a reliable plumber contact. I do now. read more
