They clearly explained the issue and repair, worked efficiently, and treated my home with care. What stood out most was their honesty. I genuinely felt they were looking out for me as a customer and prioritizing people over profit. The price was also very fair and reasonable, especially given the quality of the work. That level of integrity, along with their technical skill and clear communication, is rare to find these days. Thank you, Jerry and Cesar, for such an excellent experience.

Our project was unconventional as we needed a shower fixture for a cinder block shower enclosure. Peter arrived with all the parts required to complete the job without interruption and most of the fixture assembly was done in the back of his "workshop like" truck bed eliminating a mess in our house. The finished product installed on the cinder block wall of the shower actually looks rather nice, considering this fixture is generally placed behind a wall, out of sight with only the shower head showing. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them to everyone, and for all of our future plumbing needs, planed or emergency, we will definitely be calling Burr Oak Plumbing.

At the very beginning of this process, Edward came out in the pouring rain and diverted standing water that was sitting on top of our septic system -- giving us a temporary solution to hold us over until repairs could take place. We have severe drainage issues in our backyard, and they were able to help us manage that in the short term while also offering guidance on long-term solutions. Wesley came out shortly after, took the time to carefully explain everything, and provided top-tier service with patience and professionalism. We told him we wanted to shop around, and he was incredibly understanding -- gave us a fair quote and told us to call if we needed anything. We ultimately chose another company for the repairs, only to have the same septic issues return a few months later. When we finally called Right Price Plumbing back, they not only fixed the problem the right way, but Kevin, the owner, was on-site during the repairs and county inspection. He provided the reassurance and peace of mind we desperately needed and even went a step further by providing a credible landscaping reference to help us finally address our ongoing drainage issues. Their honesty, expertise, and commitment to doing things the right way are unmatched. We will absolutely use them going forward and highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing or septic services.

Most recently, Roger came out quickly to identify the source of a water leak from our primary bath to our kitchen. He took the time to make sure he could identify where the leak was coming from and was kind, thorough and clear in explaining what he was going to do and why. Roger had to cut into the wall and he made it as clean and small as possible. As it was ultimately not even a plumbing issue, we are so grateful that Biagi still took time and effort to help us resolve this. Cannot recommend the whole team at Biagi enough!!

The first few experiences I had with Biagi were positive (hence the two stars instead of 0), but…read morethe last experience was so awful I can't recommend them to anyone. It started out with a faucet that was leaking. When guy was changing the faucet, he banged up the new one and installed it with scratches on it. Didn't tell me a word and pretended all was okay. He already left by the time I noticed it. But that was unfortunately only the beginning. After he changed out the faucet, the pipes started making strange noises after use. I contacted them about it but was rudely dismissed and ignored. The minute something goes wrong, they take zero responsibility for it. I will never forget how I was treated and will never hire them again.

I hired Illinois Sewer and Drain Inc. to repair the plumbing in my master bathroom. At first, I was…read moreimpressed because they responded quickly and completed the work right away. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. After the plumbing work was finished, I had multiple tile professionals inspect the shower before moving forward with the remodel. Every single one pointed out that the liner had been installed incorrectly. They explained that there should only be one shower pan liner, not two liners glued together. I contacted Steve to let him know about the issue. He agreed the work needed to be corrected and told me he would come back to fix it. On Monday, we agreed he would return on Wednesday. When I reached out Tuesday to confirm, he rescheduled for Thursday. On Thursday, I contacted him again to make sure he was still coming. He pushed the time back, saying he was trying to find a single liner, and then attempted to reschedule again. I explained that this wasn't what we had agreed to and that I expected the repair to be completed that day. After that, he completely ignored my messages. I then contacted the company directly. I was told they would speak with Steve and get back to me. Hours passed with no response. I called again and still couldn't get any answers. I asked to speak with someone in charge, but the receptionist said they were busy and would call me back. Once again, I never received a call. The next day, I was told the owner, Joe, would contact me to discuss the next steps. That call never came either, so I had to follow up yet again. I was then told Joe would come out on Saturday around noon. Saturday came, and no one showed up. When I called, I was told his arrival had been pushed back another two hours. By this point, I was extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and complete disregard for my time. Joe didn't arrive until around 6:00 p.m. This company promotes itself as licensed and knowledgeable, but in my experience, the work was done incorrectly, they were quick to take my money, and incredibly difficult to get back out to correct their mistake. The repeated rescheduling, broken promises, poor communication, and lack of professionalism made this one of the worst experiences I've had with a contractor. I would not recommend Illinois Sewer and Drain Inc.

OK no worries, let's do it. So then they come out to do the inspection, take a look and tell me I don't need the camera inspection after all. OK great. Then they charge me $200 for coming over for 10 minutes and telling me that....OK. So the guy tells me it will be a couple of thousand dollars to dig down into the basement floor and fix the pipe, and I'm like oh that's not too bad. He says he'll send a quote over. So five days pass and I still don't have the quote after reaching out to them twice to ask for it eventually the quote comes in, and to my surprise it's over $5000. And at that point, I give up.

He is an incredible tradesman and always our preferred choice where his services are warranted. We, however, live in Winnetka and this is outside "Armando's" service area. He, however, recommended HT Strenger to us and we are extremely happy that he did. We experienced a leak behind a kitchen wall that another vendor purported to fix yet to no avail so this was a re-do. David of Strenger reported precisely on time and opened the wall as if he was instead a laproscopic surgeon, unlike the previous failed vendor whose access hole/port was four times larger and created a mess that required the acquisition of a drywaller and several hours of collective inconvenience. The first failed plumbing contractor billed in 15 minute increments and, if I am not mistaken, so did Strenger, with the difference being the former's "efficacy coefficient" was zero. Stenger's work lacked the haphazard, sloppy and careless inputs of the first acquistion, one of those "always on the radio" suppliers whose name a collegue supplied, and who regretfully I called, as the job seemed perfunctory to say the least. Unfortunately, my belief of the strong inverse correlation that exists between a company's propensity to run obnoxious radio ads and its tendency to screw up the simplest job remains. Neither my wife nor I believed it necessary to ask a real plumber for a more proximate recommendation ("Armando, who would you hire if you lived up here" was indeed the targeted vernacular) but such is the world in which we now live. Another reviewer apparently thought it strange that the company requests "five star" reviews post completion. David made the same request but I construed this not as a plea of desperation inasmuch as affirmation that one would be forthcoming IF and only IF, we felt comfortable rendering such. Strenger's management, unlike the radio advertisers, seemingly understand that loyality, and the ability to thus eschew spending thousands of dollars or whatever these others pay on psychobabble laden. platitude filled ads, comes from telling customers what you will do and for how much, doing it as promised and then billing appropriately. We now have two favorite household plumbers with Strenger being our preferred provider up north. It's just a shame, however, that it takes typically two suppliers, both requiring remuneration, to acquire one good outcome. Strenger made write all that was wrong and I am very grateful for its excellent work. You will be too.
