We are so happy with our service here! I brought in our two kitties for a check up and their annual shots. They handled our kitties with love and care (and Churu!). They are conveniently located and it was easy to make an appointment and find parking. They have two separate entrances for dogs and cats, which was helpful in keeping our little ones calm. Despite having received great care here in the past with our sweet but sometimes anxious doggo, the new vet quickly declined to give our pup his vaccines and suggested we find care elsewhere. Our doggo was already drugged and was not frantic or dangerous. The vet seemed to think she was doing our dog a kindness by refusing to give him his necessary vaccines. This was a very frustrating experience since we walked away without an exam or shots, and with no real path to getting the care our now aging doggo needs. So very grateful to have found Spring Glen when we moved. We've had various vets around the Sound and they're by far our favorite; even though we've never actually been inside or met our vet face to face due to COVID restrictions. Despite the influx of new dog owners and pet needs that came with COVID they made us and our senior dog always feel like a top concern. For the 2 years that we've been with them they've always been transparent with pricing and even helped us to save money with prescriptions and different testing options. They're humans so sometimes emails can take a minute to get a reply but I don't email emergencies so I get it and am so grateful that they are kind, transparent, and frankly--there. From puppy concerns to the difficult time of losing a very old dog they have always been there for us! I have received e-mails from the veterinarians and staff after hours when there was something that needed immediate correspondence. The past 2 years, during COVID, the protocol of waiting in our car has been a necessary although admittedly uncomfortable situation yet the staff has always been cheerful even when standing in the cold and rain explaining what was going on with our dogs. I love Dr. Cummings! We got a reccomendation to Spring Glen when we first got our puppies (had been taking our cats to vets here and there and never quite happy). We started out with Dr. Cloud, whom seemed to be gone within a few months and we were assigned Dr. Cummings. Now 2 years later, we wouldn't go anywhere else! She's great with our dogs. She knows exactly how to make them comfortable and seems medically knowledgeable. We've never had any issues with her suggestions and prescriptions. Besides the doctor, the office staff is PHENOMENAL! They're super compassionate and helpful. AND they have late hours (7 AM to 7 PM, I believe) ... SCORE! I can't give them 4 stars because I LOVE this vet so much ... but honestly, the cost is kind of high compared to what we've heard our friends and family pay at other places. However ... for my fur-babies, there's no cost on health! Update: August 2013 - When looking back at this, I'm realizing that since my review we've been seeing Dr. Hammond more frequently. I've been taking my cat to Dr. Hammond ever since she was a kitten. She's a wonderful vet! Before I got my cat, my granny brought her cat here for years and I believe saw Dr. Cummings. My sister also brought her cat here when she moved back from Colorado. This office is kind and professional especially in times of crisis. Examples: My sister's cat ended up having chylothorax around 9 years old. It's a condition where the chest cavity fills up with fluid and it becomes difficult for them to breathe. After being diagnosed by Dr. Cummings, she had her cat's chest drained. A week later, the symptoms returned. Unable to see her normal vet at this clinic, my sister saw Dr. Hammond. Who after a long conversation, drained her cat's chest one more time and let her cuddle before putting it to sleep. The condition had progressed and her lungs had started filling with fluid. Dr. Hammond was honest about the potential treatments and the chance of recovery. My sister, although upset, was happy that it was handled the way it was. The office also sent her a card that everyone signed to let her know they were sorry about her cat. My cat was very lethargic and did not eat or drink for over a day. I called on Monday morning and asked for an appointment. The girl told me that they were pretty full, but that people usually call to cancel or delay appointments for their cats due to difficultly getting them into a carrier. She told me to come in ASAP and they'd see what they could do. We saw Dr. Hammond, who discovered that it was only a fever, although a high fever for a cat. She gave my cat a shot of penicillin (if I remember properly) and made sure that she drank a little before we left. In my rush, I'd accidentally left my purse at home. I drive over 30 minutes to get to this vet. The front desk said that they normally hold your pet there until you pay, but considering the circumstances she let us leave with the promise to call when I got home. I did just that and paid over the phone. Overall a great office with caring people! read more

This is a rare clinic because they offer all the most current diagnostics and treatments, yet they do not pressure you or upsell during your visit. Arrive at the front door and you'll notice a separate lobby for cats and dogs- this really reduces stress for everyone. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful and there are enough staff that you aren't waiting. They get you back to a room quickly, so your pet can relax while waiting for the doctor. They run on schedule, and you never feel rushed. I have two rescue cats and a dog and I have had Dr Wolf as my veterinarian for 10 years (before she was at Spring Glen) and I highly recommend her. They do not let you inside the clinic with your pet, the vets (they have multiple vets) often work from home so we were often told we'd have to wait until they were back in office. It's takes a long time to hear back from a vet and we had to ask several times to speak to a vet before actually talking to one. When you have an appointment you're sitting out there waiting for at least 10-15 minutes before someone comes out to get your pet. They're always running behind schedule and at our last vet visit with them our puppy came out traumatized and was acting very weird. Anytime we'd take her with us to pick up her medications from the clinic she would start panting and running around the back and would bark and growl at whoever came out to bring us medications which is very unlike her. At first service seemed okay. Our puppy had started to show symptoms of a UTI so we had made an appointment for the issue. We were prescribed medications and probiotics. We went through and paid for 3-4 medications yet she was still very much in pain and discomfort and still had her UTI and they were still trying to throw pills at her. We knew at this point that this was so much more than a UTI yet they just wanted to keep giving her pills. Her appetite has never been the same since, and to this day she still hardly touches her food and often gags. She was only a few months old when we first stared the pills so I can only imagine the damage it did to her tummy at just a few months old. We let them know we'd be seeking a new vet and have found one but they're booked out and we recently noticed our puppy's skin is very red and she's been itchy so we figured we'd get her looked at with them in the mean time since it's really flared up the last 3 days. When we called they said they are not going to schedule us and our puppy would just have to wait until we get her in with our new vet since we shared we were going to start looking elsewhere for a different clinic. I shared the clinic we are moving to is booked out and our appointment wasn't for another 2 weeks. They acted like we did something wrong towards them even though we have paid them several hundred dollars to tell us what's causing certain symptoms and issues with our puppy to which they failed to do so. We had heard stories about this clinic before but decided to give it a shot anyways, waste of time and money. They just made certain issues much worse and just took our money. 0 stars. Did not have the best experience when i brought my dog in for a check up, i even specifically told the scheduler a head of time that i wanted to just have a check up visit since i just moved to town and wanted to get my dog seen. I got there they took my dog back. The vet came out, and didn't seem like he cared about my dog, more interested wanting to get me out so he can see the next patient. I mentioned to them my dog wasn't eating normal and it was a concern of mine which they didn't address it. Upon check out the receptionist told me my bill was going to be 200$ and some change, then i asked why is a check up visit so much ? she then told me they administered injections to my dog and sending me home with medications.. I did not ask for the service they just administered injections to my dog with out consulting me or asking my consent to administer injections on my dog. I was really put off by it, i have never had a vet administer anything with out consulting me first. I was really looking forward to this visit because i read such great reviews on this place. But after what happened i dont think i will be returning. read more

Dr.Cummings was the best vet that I have ever known. She loved my Pomeranians as much as i did. When I called about my 18 year old Pomeranian that I knew was in his final hours, I was saddened to find out that Dr. Cummings had retired. I asked the remaining vet, Dr. Hammond, if she could call me back to see if we could find some way to ease my Pomeranian's suffering while he was dying. I guess that was too much to ask for, as I held my Pomeranian for four days until he took his final breath. I never recieved a call back from Dr. Hammond. I called there again today in order to get my my other three Pomeranians a vaccination that they needed. They were too busy to talk with me as they had more "urgent" business to take care of. I can no longer recommend Spring Glen Veterinarian Clinic to anybody. I would strongly recommend you to look elsewhere if you care about your pets. It is true that one Veterinarian can make a difference within a clinic. And now that Dr. Cummings had retired, this clinic has now joined the cesspool of Veterinarian services. read more

I switched to this vet when my doggo was 7 on the recommendation of my dad who took his cat here, and my only regret is that I didn't bring my dog here sooner. We went to a "big box" pet store veterinary hospital prior and it was clear all they cared about was money. It's 100% the opposite at Spring Glen, they put your pet first and genuinely care about the animal and human owners. I've seen 3 different docs and they are all amazing. I don't like to write 1 star reviews, but in this case, I have to. I also don't like to write or read long reviews, but this is helpful. I went here cuz of all the 5 star reviews even though I live in Belleuve. So I took my sick 5 month old puppy here on Thursday afternoon because he was vomitting, diarrhea, and lack of appetite. Dr Cumming I believe was my vet. She did a quick checkup and said he was fine. She prescribed anti-naseau pills, a deworming medication, and a bland food formula to help him keep the food down. I also brought in a stool sample, but because they didn't have the equipment in house, they had to send it off and wait 24 hours for the result (STRIKE ONE). So I took my puppy home and gave him the anti-worming medication. And oh by the way, I had to force his little mouth open and shove it down his throat. This was not fun since he was my first pet and I only had him for 3 days. He didn't eat his prescribed food that night and drank water instead. He then subsequently vomitted and had diarrhea again. I then read online that you shouldn't give your puppy a lot of water all at once when he's having vomitting and diarrhea issues. She failed to mention that to me (STRIKE TWO). Then on Friday morning, I let him lick water 3 times. He then vomitted that out again and 5 minutes later, had bloody diarrhea. That's when we tried to give him Cerenia the anti-nausea medication she prescribed, which by the way, had to be given orally. He wasn't having that again and we were unsuccessful. The poor little guy was so weak he couldn't even stand. I then immediately took him to the Bellevue Animal Hospital. They ran a stool sample in house and it didn't show any worms. They decided to run a parvo test, but they would have to ship that off. They kept him there during the day and gave him an IV. The vet there, Dr Kleven spent a lot of time looking over him and giving me advice like ("He looks malnutrited" and "Usually puppies are happy; this little guy is not"). They ran blood tests and everything trying to figure out what's wrong with him. By 4pm, Spring Glen called and said his stool had tapeworms. Which explains why Dr Kleven said he looked malnutrited even though he was eating regularly. By 6pm, because they were not a 24 hr facility, they recommended we take him to the VCA emergency care in Kirkland. We picked him up and he was so weak, he wouldn't even turn to look at us. We took him there, where they wound up doing a parvo test, which turned up positive. We had to put him down because he most likely would not have survived the treatment. So let's see what else Dr Cumming did wrong - STRIKE THREE - Not doing a parvo test. STRIKE FOUR - I had showed her his first vacinnation record at 2 months old. I asked her, "I read online something about 3 rounds of shots. Should that be done?" She told me "No, he's fine." The other 2 vets told me, "No, puppies need at least 3 rounds of vacinnes (1 at 2 months, another at 3 months, and the last at 4 months or so). If I had taken him to the Bellevue Animal Clinic first, they would have seen the tapeworms IMMEDIATELY since they can do that in house. And they would have also done the parvo test and gotten the results a day earlier. They also said giving him Cerenia was NOT a good treatment option. I think the result would have been the same, but I certainly would have saved a lot of money (I spent over $1,000 in the 3 visits ($186 at Spring Glen, $340 at Bellevue and $450 at VCA). I probably could have just spent the $340 if I had taken him to Bellevue first. I felt the service that Dr Cumming was the kind of service I'd expect at Petsmart - get me in, get me out. Dr Kleven in Bellevue actually cared and took the time to explain things thoroughly. read more

I really loved their service. My coworker recommended me to them since I had a bad experience with Banfield. I was a bit early but Dr. Hammond showed up earlier just to help me out with my cat. My cat had these spots on her left eye and I was afraid that it might be a tumor (according to the internet source). Dr. Hammond updated her vaccination shot and checked her eye and she said it's just freckles that were formed by pigments which was a relief. And guess what? SHE DIDNT PESTER ME! She didn't "recommend that mittens has to take extra exams" or "we think she has heart murmur" etc etc like Banfield. They didn't harass me one bit. She just went straight to the point and that was that. And I loved it. They also trimmed her nails (which came with the visit) and it came up to about $82? Which is awesome because Banfield charged me monthly AND every other office visits which cost me over $100 every time I visited them. I recommend this vet! Also, they gave me a huge bag of freebies to try out such as cat food that clean tarter off their teeth (which I might buy). Great service, great staff, and no pestering! read more
