Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place. I drove over 100 miles round trip, no less than 6 times…read morefor a total of 9 appointments; and received basically an unwearable denture. Over half of the appointments were just 15 to 20 minutes long, requiring me to repeatedly return another day. The staff took about 10 impressions all together. The wax try-ins felt wrong, way too big, consequently the lab technician tweaked it multiple times. Finally when I told them the try-in felt ok, the tech felt it needed further modifications, and the new changes would throw the fit off again. He stated my mouth structure was different than most people. The lab tech was dismissive when I expressed my concerns on its size. It felt too large, too tall, and in the end, the finished product required a soft reliner. A brand new denture should not require a soft liner to fill gaps! I cannot eat with it, and even my family thought it looked awful in my mouth. After 3 decades of wearing dentures, I never had a practice where there was so much difficulty to make a denture or where my denture did not reasonably fit, and certainly not a place where I had to repeatedly return so many times before getting the finished product. On the positive side, the women working there are nice, patient, and accommodating. I do believe this place would try to continue to work with it if that's even possible, but it is no longer worth the mileage on my car or repeating the same process again; when I can go elsewhere and get a new denture in just a couple of visits elsewhere. I was recently diagnosed with tonsil, tongue and lymph node cancer, and Dr. Jump saw me on very short notice to provide a "clearance letter" so I could proceed with my cancer treatment plan. I also wanted some targeted dental work done on one tooth before starting radiation treatment, but Dr. Jump wisely recommended that I take no action regarding that one tooth. How incredible is that! Going to Spring Dental was my first time visiting a large chain for dental care. I've learned a…read morevaluable lesson regarding advocating for my care from my time with this clinic and I'd like to share some hopefully valuable information that can be helpful for other folks seeking care with large dental clinics like this one. The issue that I've had with Spring Dental is one that I haven't had when receiving care from smaller clinics and I believe a huge part of that is the lack of open communication with clients from Sprint Dental that doesn't allow for clients to make informed decisions about their care. If I had the high quality communication that all clients deserve and the information that I have now, I would have received care at a different clinic. With that said, if you intend on receiving care through Spring Dental or any other medical provider, please please get authorization from your insurance first to ensure that the care provided is actually medically necessary. If I had done that, I would learned from the get go that the services suggested by the care team were not necessary and I would have gone to a different clinic and would've saved myself from having to cover cost of care that I guess I didn't need. While it may not be their intention, the care provided by this clinic is honestly giving "we will find any way to get money out of you that insurance won't cover" vibes and lesson learned on my end. Update: Spring Dental threatened to send me to collections over a payment that I already paid.They didn't see or post my payment until I called about the matter and it took them another day or two to actually post my payment after I've called them. Their payment systems have no problem taking money immediately out of my account but I guess their systems can't post those same payments in a timely manner? Not only was I given care that I didn't need but now I feel that that the clinic would have taken my original payment and any additional fees from collection. Again, may not be their intention, but this clinic's actions is giving shady. I am happy to never be a client of Spring Dental moving forward.
