I can not say enough about the level of care you receive at Elwood. Between the professionalism and…read morethe Doctors, I will always recommend them. But on a personal note, I am also as a victim of strangulation, It has been extremely hard over the years to do things like getting your teeth cleaned, being in new unfamiliar places, or having people in your face etc... But then I found Laura and Her Team. They never made me feel that I was not heard or that I did not have the ability to say I was uncomfortable. Her and the whole office kept things up beat and verbized what care practices they where doing to keep me included. It's been a few years now since I started going to Elwood Dental, and I can proudly say that I can get my teeth cleaned with little of the same stress levels that I had 4 years ago. I'm confidant that they would do this for anyone and that they genuinely care. But I am extremely glad that the universe sent me here and to Laura.

I found Elwood Avenue Dental, I called and asked about the staff, all my questions were answered and I made my appointment. I had issues with a crown for years and Dr Salayta said it needed to be redone. There was no saving it. We had 3 visits, he removed the old crown, prepared the root for the new one and talked me through the whole procedure, step by step. His staff was excellent and knew what he needed next in every procedure and we got the new tooth replacement in about a week. It fit perfect and feels better than the old one ever did!

I saw Dr. Caitlyn at Dental Depot Tulsa Hills in December. I was told that I had 9 cavities that…read morewould need fillings immediately. Keep in mind, at age 26, I have never missed a dental cleaning my entire life. I have also NEVER had a cavity. As you can imagine, I was extremely shocked when she told me this news. I am the type of person who can tell when I'm being bamboozled, so I asked to view my cavities on the x rays. I wanted to make sure this was legit. The dentist and hygienist refused. They continued to insist that I needed 9 fillings done immediately. By this point, I knew I was being lied to. While trying to leave the office, the woman at the front desk was extremely pushy about getting me to sign the forms for all the fillings I "needed." I finally just walked out. After this ordeal, I decided to go see my dentist of 26 years in my hometown. I am from a small town in Arkansas where the reputation of a business is everything. I knew my dentist there would be honest. After going in for a thorough cleaning, x rays, and an exam from my dentist, I was informed that I have ZERO cavities. My dentist even did more x rays than normal just to double check. No dental work is needed at all. All my teeth are in perfect shape. If you get nothing else from this review - GET A SECOND OPINION!!!! Clearly Dental Depot is looking for any excuse to drill into people's healthy teeth to make a profit.

Sitting now with a $2500 bill to have it fix from someone more experienced and qualified to do the work. Highly recommend not going to any dental depot as the doctors have to meet a quota to stay on.

I was…read morevery surprised because I haven't had a cavity in years and didn't have any areas of concern at my previous cleaning at another dentist. I told them I would absolutely not be getting a crown and wanted confirmation that it couldn't be filled. They said no. I repeated I wouldn't be getting a crown ever. They kept pushing, giving me a printout for the $500+ they would be charging me and trying to schedule. I said I was not going to schedule anything because I was never coming back there again and walked out. I then scheduled an appointment with Atlanta Place Dentistry, who kindly performed an x-ray at no cost, since Perfect Smile had never sent my records over even though I signed a release weeks before. They confirmed that not only did I not need a crown, I didn't even have a cavity. It's absolutely unacceptable to be scamming people this way. I can't help but wonder how many poor people have wasted money and had their teeth drilled down for absolutely no reason. I also find it highly unprofessional to have crucifixes hanging in every room a medical office, especially if you're going to be scamming people.

I always think of "Little Shop of Horrors." Kaitlyn was the hygienist and I requested to have her every time. She was personable and explained everything very well. Dr. Davis is pretty great also. My teeth feel great and I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. They seem to take most of not all insurances and if you need to do a payment plan, they help you figure that out. The facility is very clean and the room I was in had a tv which helped me keep my mind off things. The outside looks like something out of a movie. Very whimsical currently with the leaves changing.

One visit and I am already being lied to about soft hit inquiries and actually received a hard hit credit inquiry since Lauren their office manager does not know the difference. They claim this has never happened before however if Lauren is their Office Manager and doesn't know the difference then she is hosing everyone the same exact way since she has no clue what the truth is. Then I called in after getting home and seeing this asking for a call back and all I received for several days in a row is a bunch of BS calls emails and texts solely about confirming my upcoming appointments. Not once did anything have to do with the fact I was lied to and that I called in asking for Dr Brad to call and clarify why his staff is so poorly trained and inept. Must be a chip off the ol' block and trickle down due to the total lack of professionalism by all there. Ultimately as a last ditch effort, I spoke with a Natasha in TX through Dr Brad's direct line since no one chose to answer today. Natasha did nothing to remedy this nightmare. Allegedly she was emailing Dr Brad to involve him directly and sending this up to ladder to the appropriate parties to assist with this as she kept trying to apologize for something that wasn't even her problem nor under her span of control. Clearly Natasha and the crew in TX are poorly trained just like corporate in Syracuse NY where Aspen Dental is based out of. So even though they claim to be independently owned they still have corporate involvement to run your calls all over the place so no one can truly help you which explains why everyone is so poorly trained and clueless about what people really need hence why nothing is done properly to start with. RUN RUN RUN away from Dr Brad and this Aspen Dental group located on W 71st in Tulsa OK due to their poorly trained staff. They really do not know dentistry and how to even schedule much less know how to work with any insurance companies as I was now demanding that they get pre-authorization for the work they are recommending I get done. I can't even get a simple call back from this doctor after two failed attempts of calling in and asking for him. I know there is a chance he is on vacation and I would be okay with that if someone simply confirmed it since everyone is actually entitled time off especially to ski. However that was never mentioned or confirmed either just no call back from anyone accountable. Finally after stirring the pot today a message from Lauren saying she heard I had some questions. Clearly I am no longer interested in working with Lauren since this is way above her pay grade and competence since it all originated with her lack of knowledge. Therefore my Saturday and Monday appointments will now be a no call no show just like these losers that have no medical or professional acumen to call me back. Par for the course in Oklahoma where again this state is the second most uneducated supported by the second worst ACT scores in the nation in 2024 per Newson6. That is completely supported by this work force with a direct reflection of this lack of education depicted by their actual inability to do the most basic customer service act like return a phone call. Same exact poor experience as Teresa R. My first and only visit was a wasted 2 hours just for x-rays and waiting to finally hear doctor Brad's opinion on what is supposedly wrong with me currently. This is the third dentist that I am firing in 2 years in OK and the first two were in Sand Springs. Simply put these non professionals are just like the medical doctors that are allegedly educated and trained right here in Oklahoma. With these horrific teachers and a subpar education system in Oklahoma it is displayed from pre-K through medical school and is so pathetic compared to nationwide providers with an equal or higher than professional and medical acumen. Good job staring with Ryan Walters who is so focused on jamming the Bible into to the schools when they should be focusing on putting highly trained educators and text books in front of these students first. Or else this is the end result where even an alleged medical or dental provider can not even perform the most basic of tasks like communication. As a cancer patient with crap insurance from United Healthcare this is the best we get! Sad when a doctor and 3 others lost their lives two years ago at St Francis/Warren Clinic. To be clear though murder is NEVER the answer! We just need immediate change and better support! Clearly our government needs to focus on education and support for the people by the people and STOP OUTSOURCING all of our services to these greedy corporations that clearly do not educate their people.

I went to him for years in the 1990's when insurance paid better. After chance of jobs, insurance, etc, I had to find another dentist. At first, I was so reluctant to go somewhere else, I was willing to pay cash to keep going there. The lady answering the phone gave me a price for routine cleaning which was more than what was charged on the insurance statements. She explained medical & dental facilities bargain prices with insurance groups for a set price for certain procedures. Since then, I have changed dentists a couple of times, and will never quit wishing I could back to Dr B Lance Smith. Dr B L Smith would come to each patient room after cleaning, say hello, and look over your teeth, the quality of cleaning by the hygienist, and ask if any I had any problems, concerns, o wishes. He did not try to push any products. A straight shooter I could count on. I won't bother the review readers with additional information encountered at some other offices.
