Similar experience to the review left by Kasey M. This practice is not willing to file claims as medical procedures. My father had an emergent situation requiring an extraction. Cancer was found during the procedure, which makes this a medical procedure...not dental. Left my parents with significant bills which would have been paid under their Medicare if the office had filed it as a medical procedure and not a dental one (as verified by Medicare and also their supplemental insurance provider). They were not helpful at all when my parents were trying to resolve the issue and threatened to turn them over to a collection agency. Unprofessional, not cooperative and unreasonable. I would suggest going somewhere else for your care. read more

Called to schedule a visit for Jaw Surgery (orthognathic) and was told they will only file under dental insurance. This is not a dental procedure, it falls under health insurance but both the office manager and the receptionist stated that it was only dental. I would have to pay them out of pocket and file a claim myself. When I spoke with insurance and needed to names and a rational to include for my documentation she refused to give me her or the office first name and the promptly hung up on me. I called back and was sent to voicemail. The lack of professionalism and helpfulness is very disappointing. As well as the fact they take my medical insurance, but will only bill dental seems suspicious to me as well. If you can, I would go somewhere were they are helpful and willing to answer questions. You are the patient and should be able to advocate for your needs without being belittled and hung up on. read more
