First visit with kids went okay, but billing was so messed up insurance called me to ask what in the world went on. You know, insurance, the ones you swear have no one working there when you call them? Yep. Two kids, same age, same procedures, all supposed to be covered were even billed differently and for "misc" and "other" charges insurance wont cover since they are not marked as to what was done. After calling to sort out billing, they said I owed but would zero out my balance. Odd. Today with other children, one was going to be a $15 charge to get xrays. Something my insurance covers once a year and has not had them in over a year. After asking they then lowered it to $4.40 cents. Mind you I had two kids today and the second had no charges. Same insurance, same everything. Odd to say the least. So waiting. Waited an hour. Its hard with a 7 year old. There were people there before us that still were not called back and one other person was getting upset also. No one at front desk. No one came to check on us, or even give us an ETA. So we left. Sent text to cancel follow up appointments for kids. We wont be back. This is the issue with these dental chains. Money over everything. Sad that most dentists are this way. read more

Going to Spring Dental was my first time visiting a large chain for dental care. I've learned a valuable lesson regarding advocating for my care from my time with this clinic and I'd like to share some hopefully valuable information that can be helpful for other folks seeking care with large dental clinics like this one. The issue that I've had with Spring Dental is one that I haven't had when receiving care from smaller clinics and I believe a huge part of that is the lack of open communication with clients from Sprint Dental that doesn't allow for clients to make informed decisions about their care. If I had the high quality communication that all clients deserve and the information that I have now, I would have received care at a different clinic. With that said, if you intend on receiving care through Spring Dental or any other medical provider, please please get authorization from your insurance first to ensure that the care provided is actually medically necessary. If I had done that, I would learned from the get go that the services suggested by the care team were not necessary and I would have gone to a different clinic and would've saved myself from having to cover cost of care that I guess I didn't need. While it may not be their intention, the care provided by this clinic is honestly giving "we will find any way to get money out of you that insurance won't cover" vibes and lesson learned on my end. Update: Spring Dental threatened to send me to collections over a payment that I already paid.They didn't see or post my payment until I called about the matter and it took them another day or two to actually post my payment after I've called them. Their payment systems have no problem taking money immediately out of my account but I guess their systems can't post those same payments in a timely manner? Not only was I given care that I didn't need but now I feel that that the clinic would have taken my original payment and any additional fees from collection. Again, may not be their intention, but this clinic's actions is giving shady. I am happy to never be a client of Spring Dental moving forward. read more

Called to verify United Healthcare coverage for replacement dentures after United Healthcare told me I was covered. Spring Dental finally verified this. After waiting 2 weeks for my appointment I went in was told I wasn't insured. This was after I was subjected to a completely unnecessary full head scan. I walked out muttering. read more

Let me start by saying I have TERRIBLE anxiety/panic disorder. I was a nervous wreck filling out the paperwork. The receptionist was very friendly. The women (nurses/assistants) who were back in the room with me helped calm me down mid panic attack before my procedure began. They listened to all of my concerns with care. I felt respected as a person. Extremely compassionate and empathetic, I can't thank them enough. My surgeon was a genius. The speed and proficiency in which he worked was mind blowing. I thought it was going to be an hour at least... It was done in under 30 minutes for 4 tooth removals. I was awake also, I have a fear of being put under. The surgeon applied enough numbing shots that I barely felt him working on my teeth. This was my best experience at a dentist/oral surgeon. I am very impressed and was delighted with the kindness I was shown. Thank you to all of you, I cant express my gratitude enough for this experience!!! read more

You know what's slightly scary? Taking your two year old for his first dentist appointment. You know what's not scary? Going to Spring Dental. When scheduling the appointment I was reassured it would be just fine. Walking in, we were sweetly greeted and mister baby immediately took a liking to the waiting area just for kids with some clean toys and movie playing. The front desk helped answer all of our questions patiently and was probably one of the most joyful people I have ever met. We waited for maybe 3 minutes before the hygienist came to get us. He was filled with grace and understanding when mister baby wasn't super excited to sit in the chair at first. I did get sit in the chair with mister baby and after a few minutes he warmed up, smiled, and let him brush his teeth! The dentist was equally filled with grace and took such good care of mister baby (and his parent's questions.) Top it off with a cool new toy mister baby got to pick from, and now he can't wait to go back to the dentist! Mister baby (and his parents) love going to Spring Dental! I've never been more impressed with a dental office and it's staff than I am with spring dental. My appointment was at 10am . They requested I get there an hour early for paperwork. I got there at 9am for 28 extractions. Filled out my paperwork and was taken back to the operation room . I was put under and next thing I remember is them asking me to get into my truck passenger side of course. It was 10am. I followed the doctor's instructions to the tee. I had minimal pain and discomfort. Didn't even use all of the pain pills I was prescribed. Absolutely amazing. Would recommend any one to spring dental. 5stars for sure. read more

Be aware, go there if you want your sinus bone get broke and have more than 2 surgeries to fix it. I have to choose 1 star because I cannot leave a review otherwise. They don't deserve any for all what I suffer. Here is my story with Spring Dental on 2017 I went to Spring dental at Memorial and 71st Dr E didn't want to save my tooth in the upper right side so he decided to put a bridge (of course after he saw the type of insurance I have) he made an extraction and broke my sinus bone that my PCP at that time send me immediately for FMLA due the complications, Dr E sent me to an oral surgeon at Spring Dental Peoria, he said will be an easy fix spent 4 hours in surgery with more than 100 stitches inside my mouth trying to fix my sinus bone, the surgeon had to extract my wisdom tooth to try to removed part of my skin from the back of my mouth and close the sinus but still didn't fix I was felling how was dripping my sinuses into my mouth. I have to go to an ENT to fix the problem ( of course I have to paid for that surgery) finally was fixed after 5 or 6 months in between those months Dr E had to replace the permanent bridge 2 times due to how my gum was after all the surgeries. Finally I was thinking all was complete and I would have a permanent bridge for at least 10 years when insurance will cover for a new one. I never tris Spring Dental anymore so I looked for a different dentist, where they gain my trust and where I know I won't be hurt anymore. I got my cleanings every 6 months and everything was good until Saturday when the bridge cracked in 2 pieces, my dentist today gave me a bad news, that bridge can't be put back and I have to have a new one, also he stated that the bridge was not made properly because is very rare the bridge cracked (imagine I was chewing gum and cracked) If you want my story happen to you go ahead and go to Spring Dental, if you want to spend more money also go there, if you want all your allowance for the year be take in only one procedure go there, because they never tell you they are not in network unless you ask, they only take your insurance and charge like crazy and you think you are in network. Be aware now I don't want anyone in Tulsa or surrounding areas have my same experience. read more

The staff here are incredibly nice and had I wrote this review after I received my first cleaning, I probably would've given it four stars but only because they're guaranteed to be at least 30 minutes behind. However, today I went in to get my first crown ever. The dentist had trouble with getting the drill to grind my teeth which concerned me. I'm not sure if this is common but the tools just didn't want to do the job. Okay well fine they finally got my temporary crown on and I left numb and mostly happy. Like I said, amazingly friendly staff. I ate lunch and most of my dinner on the opposite side of my mouth, just to be safe. Well I finally decided to test the waters and use my new temporary crown to eat a little piece of soft bread. So there I am... chew, chew, chew, crunch... My temporary came off and I bit into it. Now I'm not expecting a temporary crown to last a lifetime but I assumed it would last at least a month... Nope, less than 12 hours. read more

If you miss an appointment you will be blacklisted and unable to make any future appointments. Their "walk in" service that they love to advertise means at least 2 hours of wait time and they won't do anything other than see you which means you are charged for 2 appointments (and that's if they will make the next appointment). I normally don't leave bad reviews for places of business and I'm not a person who is hard to please. However, I was so taken aback by the lack of competency within this office that I feel compelled to warn others despite the other positive reviews on this page. I presented to Spring Dental in July 2018 for a check up due to my recent move to Tulsa. The staff was friendly and I ended up needing a small procedure, which was successful. As it pertains to their quality of work, I have no complaints. As for the person or people in charge of billing and insurance, however, I have never been met with more incompetence and lack of professionalism. I received a call approximately two or three weeks ago stating that my insurance claim had been denied due to a small issue that only my mother could correct (since her name is on my insurance). My mother called the insurance company, who then told her I needed to address the issue. I did so immediately, on the same day Spring Dental called me. It was then Spring Dental's duty to appeal the insurance denial. Instead of doing that, they just kept checking the insurance claim. They then decided to text me at 4:30 yesterday, accused me of not fixing the issue, and decided to close my claim and bill me for the full price of my dental work-- and extra $1,750. Clearly this was unprofessional, short-sighted, and anxiety-inducing. After leaving Spring Dental a very used voicemail, I called my insurance company who told me that Spring Dental did not call to appeal the claim like they should have. I appealed the claim, and my insurance company informed me they would re-consider and have a decision within 7-10 business days. Spring Dental just texted me once again, stating they were just going off what the insurance company told them. When in truth, the company said the claim was denied because Spring Dental was too incompetent to appeal the claim in the first place. I can't help but wonder whether, if I were not a law student and someone who works with medical bills for her job, if Spring Dental would have gotten away with scamming me, a 23-year-old girl, out of $1,750 dollars just because they were not competent enough to deal with a popular insurance company. I could not recommend this dental provider any less and will never go back there. This last-minute texting is unprofessional and, in this case, panic-inducing. I hope that this incident teaches Spring Dental a lesson on professionalism and proper billing, and that they learn how to deal with these types of situations with more tact and knowledge. read more

The staff here was friendly and helpful. I got in on a Saturday morning with an abcessed tooth, in a great deal of pain. Jenna, the dental assistant was wonderful...she was friendly and had a comforting bedside manor. The treatment plan coordinator was also very kind. The dentist, Dr. Tewis did a fine job. Just moved back to Tulsa after 17 years and needed a dentist which I absolutely hated leaving the dentist I had out of state. I've been to Spring dental a few times now on Brookside and had a good bit of work done this week. I also took my son to have his wisdom teeth removed today. I chose them based on their reviews in various social media places. I have to say that I've been very pleasantly surprised at how excellent the service here is from billing to front desk to dental assistants to dentists. I called several times and asked a million questions about my care plan and insurance. They never seemed irritated or rushed. They were kind and treated me like they really care! I assumed it was a national chain but it is actually owned by local dentists from my understanding. I can't say enough how thrilled I am to have a dentist for my family that I trust and feel comfortable with!
