I have been an avid shopper since SCG opened. I loved the whole experience. However, a recent experience has greatly changed things for me. I had purchased a T-shirt for 24.95 on a Friday. Once home with it I placed it in my garment laundry bag to wash it before I planned to wear it. When I removed it from the garment bag, I noticed the shoulder seam was unsewn. I hung it up to dry. After which with my receipt in hand came back to make what I thought would be a simple exchanged for a defective item that very next Tuesday. Nope, the manager's attitude was as if I was trying rip them off. Made me feel as if I damaged the shirt and now wanted them to give me new. I am a business owner myself and sell apparel therefore I get from time-to-time defective product that gets missed before I sell to my clients. But when my clients have an issue with a garment advising me within a few days I gladly offer replacement and quickly and it done with a sincere apology. Her attitude in handling this transaction over a t shirt which might have cost them 5.00 wholesale lost not only my next purchase of over 500.00 worth of pots I had on my shopping list, but I will think hard about ever purchasing anything at SCG again. read more

Sooooooo disappointed! Horrible customer service! It was slow n the 2 women "working" were no help. They were doing nothing but talking w each other (while standing behind the counter) n I had to approach them for help. The 1st one was short w her answer n obviously annoyed she had to be bothered. She gv me no additional info as to when or if they wld get anymore in. The other girl was nicer but just pointed in the direction of a pot on the ground next to many others pots in the Vicinity the direction of her casual pointing. I guess it was to much trouble to walk the 15' to show me what she was talking about. The pointing was still not even an answer to my question. Neither ever asked what exactly was I looking for or gave additional help or guidance. Either way, they lost what would hv been a large sale. I love to support local businesses but not when they could care less. I talked w a few other people I know that had been there n they said they received no help as well. I'm happy others had good experiences but mine was bad enough there will b no second chance. read more

DO NOT USE this company for landscaping! They are not only liars but they are disrespectful and will take your money without shame. They installed dead grass in my parents yard and blamed them for it dying. After fighting with them they said they would replace the grass for a LARGE fee. They tried to accuse my parents of withholding money, but WHY would they Pay in full for a job that was not complete! They are terrible people and they do not deserve your business. My neighbor and I recently took a hanging basket class from Emily (one of the owners) and Hana. These ladies were superb in advising and responsiveness. There was 25% off of supplies (baskets and plants) and they gave the potting soil (which was a very expensive "Frog" brand.) It was an enjoyable class out under the trees. Refreshing drinks were provided. Tip: you may desire to take a pair of gloves, a small spade and your own basket rather than purchasing one. ' read more

My wife and I recently relocated from Michigan. We needed some plants for a small container garden, which would allow us to get our butterfly/hummingbird fix until we re-landscaped the new home. We had checked out some of the nurseries in the metro area, but when we headed out and found Spring Creek Gardens - WOW!! What a concept! Beautiful gardens, waterfalls, chickens, wine - not like any nursery we had ever been to. The plants were beautiful and well cared for. The grounds were impeccable and invited meandering. When we arrived we were greeted by Abigail, who helped us find exactly what we needed (we didn't know. Heck, we just had come down from MI, and most of the native plants were unknown to us). We could tell that she loved what she did, had a real passion. She took the time to listen to our wants/needs, and come up with solutions that rocked. In the course of our conversations, we became aware of the fact that she was Spring Creek's Landscape Designer. We took her card, and promised to get in touch when we were ready to re-do the landscape at our new home. Fast forward - four months later we were ready to have all new landscaping. I mean scorched earth. Back to front. Spare no expense (well, within reason). We wanted something beyond fantastic to go with the new pool we were having built. I called Abigail, and she remembered me!!! Four months! I told her what my wife and I were looking for - as close to xeriscape as our HOA would allow, with all native plants that would be a haven for butterflies and hummingbirds. She came up with a design that was beyond our expectations. We said do it! The crew was phenomenal!!! Huge shout out to Hunter, Greg, Pedro, Miguel, and the rest of the crew. They were so professional and friendly, (and they cleaned up after every shift, unlike other construction crews we have had). I could tell that they took pride in their work. (I had a neighbor who told me he watched them put a level on a retaining wall that was made of enormous native stones and curved around the front of the house, changing elevation as it progressed. A frickin level!!)They were aware of the impact the project had on my neighbors, and took every precaution to minimize said impact. Being retired, it was fun to watch them work. I loved it. (They wouldn't let me help though, darn it!) They took the entire property and transformed it. Back to front. I mean every bit of earth was touched and changed into something beautiful. My wife and I are speechless. If there was a picture of "garden oasis" in the dictionary, this would be it. Amazing!! I can not sing the praises of Abigail loudly enough. Or the rest of the entire staff. We even had one of the owners out on more than one occasion. But Abigail had the vision and (with her own sweat) brought it to life. We just completed a large project at our new home. From design to completion Spring Creek Gardens were excellent to work with. We loved the design on paper and it's super impressive when you drive-by. We've had so many people stop and tell us how beautiful our yard looks. We landscaped all four sides of the house. The best part was they stayed within our budget. We couldn't be more pleased with the work done at our house. read more

I went to Spring Creek Gardens (great nursery) and set up an appointment to have the owner come to my house and give me landscaping ideas. She told me it would be $75hr. She said she knew where the address I gave her was, gave me her cell number, and said that if we ended up doing any landscaping that she would take that fee off. She did not show up for the appointment, so I left her a message on her voice mail. (Yes it was her voice mail). asking if she was running late or having trouble finding my house. VERY POOR customer service. Slow to provide service and not responsive to phone calls. Tried to do business with both designers (one was the owner) but neither one would respond to my inquiries. Took my business to another alternative who showed interest and was responsive. I also was ignored by staff ( they were just chatting between themselves) when walking their site and needing help regarding plant selection. Took my business elsewhere! I live in CA and wanted to send my mother in law an orchid for Mother's Day. The local florists wanted to charge over $100! I called Spring Creek and had a GORGEOUS orchid delivered that same day for half the price, including having it replanted in a permanent pot! The woman I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend using them for any kind of special occasion. I wish I was local and could visit, looks like a beautiful nursery! read more

This is hands down the most beautifully taken care of garden-type place I have ever been to. The staff were incredibly sweet and very helpful. The few flowers and herbs we picked up are so pretty and we even got some fresh eggs from their chickens! I'll be coming here for my garden needs from now on. read more

My wife and I went there for the first time. Awesome setup with a great staff. When you walk in it is almost like a park or botanic garden instead a place where everything is for sale. The setup is perfect and amazingly clean. We talked with a few members of the staff and they were all helpful. Carley was awesome, we pretty much bought every recommendation she made. The best part was when we checked out I was thinking around $400+ and it was well less than that. Also, Military discount which isn't normal on this side of town. read more

My review pertains to the landscaping/irrigation part of the business. I left a message on the company's website about 5 or 6 weeks ago about getting landscaping and irrigation work done, no response. I later drove to their location and a friendly employee took my information and said the owner would get with me, that was about 4 weeks ago, still no response. They need to get out of that line of business or tell their employees not to take the info. Too bad it looks like a nice place to buy plants but not to send a fair amount of money on landscaping. At least they did not stand me up for an appointment like one of the reviewers, makes you wonder read more
