She LOST it on me, yelled about it being prom season, she didn't have time for this and I needed to think about if I wanted them to do the work. Then she hung up on me. I called back Monday morning thinking she would have calmed down. Screamed again. I told her to forget it. Oh, and she wanted to charge $75 to take in an elastic waistband on sweatpants that didn't cost close to $75. Never stepping foot in there again. They don't appreciate their customers, are rude, and overpriced. And the last time I had an alteration by Mr. Jesus, it had to be fixed. Don't ask why I even considered going back. Lesson learned.

The owner acknowledged the damage, and there were ongoing discussions about resolving it, but the matter was never resolved. Because of this, I filed a claim in Nassau County Small Claims Court. After reviewing the evidence, the court entered a judgment in my favor for the full value of the coat. Following the hearing, the owner approached me and attempted to hug me, which I found inappropriate and uncomfortable given the circumstances. Further to this, he demanded an apology for writing this review and left me a text message and voicemail with threats to sue me for writing this review. After nearly a month, he finally paid the summary judgement.
