I saw Amber for about four months for the treatment of my oily, acne prone skin. I had grown weary…read moreof my dermatologist after i discovered that the effects of acutane were merely temporary. With amber my skin went from not so great, to the worst it has ever been and then some. She told me time and time again that my skin would get better once my skin finished purging, I just had to trust her approach, and I was ready to believe. For four months, I got peels and extractions, and my skin got worse and worse. Rather than change her approach, she insisted that she was doing right. My skin would be tender and red for weeks after her peels, and I was still getting large painful breakouts. The last straw was when I came in with a large cystic lesion on my forehead. I let her dig into it until it became an open bloody wound bed, even though EVERYONE else in the business knows that you never try to extract a cystic lesion. I literally wore a bandaid on my head to keep it from getting infected. After that I went back to a dermatologist, a different one, but someone I felt I could trust. I now see the people over at Elise Deluke in williamsville. I still get peels, but my face is fine. My skin looks great, and they're not constantly trying to sell me products throughout my treatments. They consult with one another, too, so you know you won't become the victim of one person's hubris.

A combined hormonal shift and really stressful life events had wrecked my skin. I had painful,…read morepersistent breakouts and I hated the way I looked. I felt like a teenager again, avoiding eye contact, caking on makeup... I was totally fed up. So I decided to make the plunge and see an esthetician for a facial. I was nervous but felt like I'd tried everything. Amber is knowledgable and makes you feel comfortable. She assessed my skin and suggested I make a few changes to my routine. I purchased some of the products she sells (ilike brand) and have enjoyed them all. The monthly visits and new routine have totally changed my skin. I'm so impressed with the improvements I've seen over the past few months. I am hopeful with regular visits and consistent home care I'll feel totally comfortable in my own skin!

The salon was beautiful. Rachel has a quiet room back behind the front desk. It was a dark lit room with candle light. Soft music was played during my service helping me ease into a state of relaxation. My favorite part of the treatment was the arm and hand massage. Sooo relaxing and enjoyable. I really felt like my skin was glowing after this treatment. If I had an abundance of cash I would be visiting Rachel on a monthly basis! But as of now, facials are a bit out of my price range. I'll be back though!

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a Groupon good for three facials, I called the…read moresalon and was assured I could use them for my daughter, my niece, and myself. The only drawback was we would have to schedule our facials back to back and not all at once. I called back a few weeks later to schedule the facials and was told I was misinformed and the three facials were to be used by only one person. Rachel was unapologetic and rude. So now instead of losing one persons business she will lose three multiplied by the many people who share our experience with. I will seek a refund from Groupon as she suggested I do and bring our business elsewhere.
