Pros: -They have merch if you need it…read more -cute inside, has mirrors and seating -They are quick to take a reservation up until the last min. They have same day appointments available too -They have a lot of staff and rooms -Centrally located -They offer refreshments -aftercare was really good, the powder is genius Cons: -This place is definitely a churn and burn -It was very chaotic when I got there, I checked in about 4 mins early bc my driver got lost, sat down and then a few people came in after me and got offered refreshments and apologies for the wait. When I asked for a Bev the girl seemed not annoyed but "oh you want something too". It was weird -I had a racerback tank on and very loose pants. I was told to change bc it'll ruin the tan. I had a fully packed suitcase with me and had to pop it open all over the floor and then they said I could buy a shirt for $40 and bumped my start time. The t-shirt clung to me anyway and touched my tan just as much as the tank -There was nothing to hold on to inside the room. The room was dirty, no foot protection, everything felt sticky. And it was just a screen in front of the front window where everyone could see in when you moved around the screen. Im not prude but it was still annoying. -I asked for a light brown NO orange or red tone. While it went on nice no smell, what developed was so stinky (I know it's a chemistry thing but this one was super pungent) and SO orange. My feet and hands looked so streaked the next day I had to scrub. Shout out to the loofa at my hotel. There was a place I went to for years in Lincroft that used green in their formula so it would help pull the red out, I was so orange with this formula, streaky and stinky still on day three is was annoying and uncomfortable -this might be a uber driver/shore thing but the address took me to 3 mins away so it's location is a pain I would go back if they could promise another color that leans brown but maybe on a day when it's not so hectic. It might just have been like a prom day or something

I am reposting a previous review of this establishment as my initial review was flagged and removed…read morefor "not accurately describing the business..." I assure you that this detailed review most accurately represents OUR EXPERIENCE with this business. My fiancé (girlfriend at the time) and I visited tiki image about a year and a half ago for couples massages. It was a great first experience and that led to us scheduling our second visit. Our second visit was scheduled for the beginning of August 2019 as a congrats to us for our engagement. On the day of the massage, we received a phone call informing us that they'd have to cancel our massages due to a last minute illness of one of the masseuses. Completely understood and we were offered a free add-on as an apology. Fast forward to today-- we made another appointment for couples massages and mentioned the promised add-on and it was granted (or so we thought). We entered the room at 4:35pm and were lying in the bed at 4:38pm when both masseuses entered the room. We booked a 60-minute couples massage. SIXTY... SIX ZERO. Plus the ADD ON should have put us slightly over 60minutes. When the masseuses left the room, the clock read 5:22. That is a 44 minute massage AND additional add-on. We were in the room for far less than 60 minutes; let alone a 60 minute massage. I mentioned this to the receptionist who stated that it's 50 minutes because of a 5 minute consultation before and after-- no where is that mentioned in any confirmation email that we received nor was it mentioned when we arrived. Even still-- 44 minutes is 6 minutes less than the 50 it "should" have been. When I am paying for services, I expect to get what is paid for. Now, what about the add-on? It appears that it was more of an "in-lieu" of service. Again, I mentioned that to the receptionist who said 'it is already included in the time'-- which made absolutely no sense but I did not argue with her. Aside from above-- both of our massages were far below average. I left with a worse spasm in my back than I arrived and my fiancé whole-heartedly feels that her massage was cursory and rushed at best. It was clear that both masseuses were new and with little experience. (They were all very nice though). It is safe to say that neither of us will be back.

The makeup I got with Sam was lightyears better than anything I've ever had. It was thoughtfully applied to enhance my features so that I looked like a glammed up version of myself, not like a drag queen with giant lashes, eyebrows and a face that was a totally different color than the rest of my body. She works quickly and is so easy to be around. My makeup lasted through outdoor photos in 95 degree heat and through a whole night of dancing. I even wore it the next day! She also did my 60 year old mother and 23 year old sister in law- who all looked absolutely stunning with their very different looks- Sam is versatile and talented. Call Sam for your next event!
