The seats behind the very front row have NO view, and the people in front of you in this section who used their cell phones to record ABOVE their heads blocked our view even further. We were straining our necks, and bobbing left and right just to to try to see a few kiddos in each of the performances. It was further frustrating to be additionally blocked by these people in front of us who were holding their cell phones up above their heads. Why are people so thoughtless? The director CLEARLY stated "no cell phone recording", but these people felt entitled to do as they pleased and to heck with those of us behind them . What a great dance school, and WOW, such talented kiddos! We'll return again, but we'll make sure to book better seats for sure next time.

Most of my answers were from either parents who "attended last year as well" or even driving up to the studio and realizing that they are closed. The only communication you get promptly is for the money they are charging or the change in their payment system asking you to update your payment info so they can regularly process your payments. Shame! Also there is a lot of favoritism and kiss-ass behavior even at 3-4-5 year levels that it amazes me and blows my mind. Also their end of year concert is a big hoax and a great way for the studio owners to mint money be it via event participation fees, outfits, photoshoots, event tickets etc.

From the beginning, I felt rushed into bringing my children without being properly prepared. I was not clearly informed about what items I needed to provide for my children, the billing policy, or the exact amount I would owe. I asked multiple times for written confirmation of my monthly payment amount, but I never received anything by email. I was only given verbal estimates, which created confusion and uncertainty. One of my biggest concerns happened when my daughter was bitten by another child in her classroom. I understand that incidents can happen in childcare settings, and I do not blame the facility simply because a child bit another child. However, what made me extremely uncomfortable was the handling of the situation. The teacher stated in front of the director that she had already sent me an incident report, which was not true. I also never received a phone call regarding the injury. When I saw my daughter's injury, it was more severe than I had expected. The lack of communication and the fact that I felt I was given inaccurate information damaged my trust. After speaking with the director, we agreed to move my daughter to another classroom. Unfortunately, when my daughter returned after being absent for several days, nobody appeared to have prepared for her transition. Her belongings had not been moved, and no one was available to guide me to her new classroom. After waiting for quite some time, another staff member eventually assisted me, though she did not seem pleased to do so. Once I entered the classroom, it was clear the teacher seemed surprised and unprepared for my daughter's arrival. As a parent, that was concerning because transitioning a child into a new environment should feel organized and welcoming. I was also later emailed that I would be charged a late fee despite still not having clear information regarding the exact amount I owed or the due dates. In the end, my daughter was paid for the month but only attended a handful of times because I no longer felt comfortable with the overall environment. The disorganization, communication issues, and concerns regarding cleanliness made me feel that this was not the right place for my children.

One parent's positive experience should not be used to dismiss or respond to concerns raised by other affected parents. There is no need to invalidate someone else's experience when the focus should simply be on sharing one's own. In our experience, concerns regarding ADHD and behavioral differences were discussed, but what was difficult was how those concerns were approached. Sensitive matters involving a child's struggles should remain professional and parent-centered, rather than becoming discussion points in ways that affect relationships with other families whose children were friends with mine. I have heard two of the parents approach me and letting me know that my child's conditions were discussed with them and told their kids not to be friends with him. Despite being uncomfortable and concerned, they informed me about this so I would be aware of it. What became especially concerning was when my child began coming home visibly distressed, crying, and repeatedly expressing that he felt pressured by the green class teacher into accepting the blame for an incident he consistently said he did not do. From our perspective as parents, it appeared that instead of carefully understanding the situation, there were moments where he felt pushed to agree with accusations or accept responsibility despite insisting otherwise. Watching a young child become emotionally distressed to the point of crying at home and describing feeling pressured in this way significantly escalated our concerns and aggravated an already difficult situation. More importantly, identifying concerns should also come with meaningful support and guidance. Instead of collaborative strategies, accommodations, or support to help my child succeed, it often felt like the child was only commented on having ADHD and also blamed for behaviors -- such as moving quickly through activities or transitioning to another task instead of staying engaged in one work for extended periods. Expecting a young child to remain focused on a single activity for more than 30 minutes without understanding developmental needs or learning differences did not feel supportive. When I approached the lead Green Class teacher to discuss how we speak to and guide our child when he was not listening, I was told that she had significant experience handling children and did not like parents giving suggestions. I found this response dismissive because, during a meeting when we genuinely asked for suggestions or strategies to better support our child, we were told there were none and were instead asked the same question in return. However, when I attempted to offer open suggestions based on what worked for our child, this was the response I received. This felt particularly concerning when it already seemed as though there were ongoing struggles in understanding, handling, and supporting our child's individual needs rather than working collaboratively to help him succeed. Comparing a 6-year-old child to a younger child, such as a 4-year-old, was also unhelpful and discouraging. Every child develops differently, and comparisons do not provide constructive support or understanding for a child's unique strengths and challenges.

A year before joining RMA I started asking moms in the community where their children go to…read morepreschool and if they like it, and time and time again RMA came up as being the go to preschool in the area. They have a waitlist for a reason. The grounds are beautiful with open space for kids to play and there are two locked entry points w security codes to get in; the grounds are fenced to keep kids safe. The classrooms are clean and Montessori educational items are placed at eye level accessible for children to interact with. Montessori language, such as calling the activities "jobs," is used, along with the traditional "walk around the sun" ceremony that takes place on a child's birthday. The school uses an app to communicate with parents showing pictures of their child during the day so you know what they're working on. I made it a point to check in w teachers at drop off/pick up time so there was always clear communication and collaboration with the school. The staff were all professional and kind in our experience. Our child has grown so much in the years we have been at RMA. At a recent elementary school assessment we were told she scored a grade level above academically on the kindergarten readiness test. Our child loves science after having weekly hands on science experiments in the classroom; she mastered letter and number recognition; she can write her name and has developed critical thinking skills thanks to her teachers and a school environment that encourages curiosity. The performances the school puts on throughout the year are really precious. The kids work hard at learning the songs and a lot of care goes into the events. I don't know the circumstances behind the negative reviews here, but I fully respect that Ms. Janet does not air any dirty laundry on a public forum like this. All I know is that RMA has a responsibility to provide a safe and healthy environment for the children enrolled, and from our own individual experience, they have done so. Our experience with RMA has been nothing but heartwarming and positive and we will miss it.

Spotlight is amazing! Such a great staff and the place is so clean and welcoming. Every teacher is attentive to each students individual needs and fine tunes a lesson plan just for the student. They make lessons fun and enjoyable! You'll always laughing coming from the rooms. Definitely recommend them to anyone! He is a kind and patient teacher who is somehow able to pinpoint exactly what I need to work on each week in a way that is encouraging, appropriately challenging, but not overwhelming. He provides direct, honest feedback and I know a "good job" from him really means something. In addition to being a gifted teacher, he is a stunning musician (check out his YouTube!) and a funny, smart, engaging human. The 30 minutes I spend at his studio each week is honestly the highlight of my week...highly highly recommend!

Makes it super easy to understand/learn, very well priced for what he's worth, and a pleasure to talk to. I wish every teacher I'd ever had was this good, and I'm loathe to give up the spot but I'll be moving out of state. I'd send anybody I know here to learn string instruments. You won't regret it even if you're on his wait list for 6 months.

We are really happy we found Emily for our daughter's piano lessons. After trying two other…read moreteachers in the area that just weren't a great fit for us, Emily has been wonderful and so easy to work with. Our 8-year-old has been taking lessons with Emily for about six months now. Emily has been kind, patient and encouraging. At the same time she keeps our daughter on task and sets goals to keep her challenged. This combination has been a great fit for our daughter. She sits down several times a day to practice without us ever asking. She's truly enjoying her lessons and that makes me a happy mom. Emily also makes it really easy for us to schedule our lessons and make-up for missed lessons, which is so appreciated.
