Convenient and cozy bar right on premises of The Paramount where you can grab a drink before or after a show. Service is pretty quick and bartenders are friendly and attentive. The food was good for the price and drinks were tasty and nicely presented.

Resist the Temptation @ The Spotlight!

Located beneath the famous music venue, "The Paramount" Spotlight is a bar, restaurant & live music venue that delivers diverse entertainment. They have a full bar including several taps and a sizable menu. The open airy entrance welcomes you into artsy comfortable surroundings with a back entrance opening to the Spotlight where the music stage resides. We were there to see the talented original music band "Resist the Temptation" and they did not disappoint. The band was energetic, inspiring, explosive, and uplifting. We were disappointed when their set ended in less than an hour, but still it was worth the drive to the Spotlight. The Spotlight was a picture-perfect place to eat, drink and chill before and after a show. We very much enjoyed our late evening Spotlight experience.

Came here to see a show. The bartender we had was great! Some really interesting cocktails on the menu. He also didn't hesitate when I asked for something not on the menu. The pizza from Ella's came hot and was good. The turkey burger we had was not the best but decent! Loved the fries that came with it!

Nice addition to the village lineup! I'm glad the Paramount made such a cool bar with this space. It's HUGE! I'm not sure where to start since this place brings alot to the table. HUGE bar...and they let you write on the chairs with sharpies!! Nice big room in the back with TVs and sofas as well as an outdoor area. They offer up free popcorn and mnm's which is a nice touch. They also have a bunch of board games. The star of this show is the bathroom...make sure you check it out! Blew my mind at first but It's pretty cool. The bartenders and managers are super friendly. Looking forward to going back here!

Tons of awesome beers on tap

I'm going to absolutely concur with Stephanie K below. This new place crushes it on so many levels. At first glance, I was taken back (in a good way of course) by the sheer expansiveness of the space. As you walk in and get closer, you quickly realize the amount of work that was put into every single detail. It's seems like such a versatile and multi-functioning environment; there's a huge bar in the front and what seems like an even bigger event space/art gallery in the back. Discovering all of the interesting and well-thought-out details is all part of the fun experience there so I won't ruin any surprises. I will however just say... even if you don't have to use the restroom, definitely at least check it out! At the moment, they don't serve food but they allow you to bring or order-in. They even keep a binder full of menus from great local restaurants. I love that! It's details like that which show that while they are a gorgeous bar with exquisite taste, they aren't pretentious and don't take themselves too seriously. I can totally so see myself throwing my 33rd birthday here next year. Who knows, perhaps I'd be able to show off my own artwork while all of my closest friends and family gather under one with, drinking and laughing the night away. They are a indeed a fit for the area and I can't wait to go back.

Went here with a friend for a bite and a drink. Great atmosphere. They had a local band playing. Lots of younger people. Great decor. The food was just so so. Equivalent to most bar food. Not a bad night.

So a group of us Yelpers were looking for a place to grab a drink after an event and stumbled upon Spotlight, and man, was this a Yelpers' paradise. Snacks, art, booze, a wacky bathroom. I'm here for it. Atmosphere: this spot is art gallery meets bar. You can write on the chairs, there's a huge canvas you can draw on. They have coloring books, Etch A Sketches, a bathroom that has a mirror image of itself on the ceiling (trust me, use the bathroom). The bar was super interactive, I had a blast poking around every bit of the place. Drinks: they had a great selection of beers on tap (lots of locals, gold star!), tons of liquors too. A little bummed they didn't have a cocktail menu, but hey, the spot's brand new. Food: so they don't serve proper food (although they have a "take-in" binder for places that deliver) but they do have A SNACK WALL. You heard me. A snack wall. Today they had peanut M&M's, cheese balls, popcorn, goldfish, cheez-its, guys I was amped. Staff: guys, they were super sweet. It was a slow night (a Tuesday) so we got to chat with the staff and they were so nice and excited to see what this space would become. Overall Impression: This place was just fun. Come in and color, play with the sequins wall, draw on the chairs, eat cheese balls. But definitely, make sure you use the bathroom.

Spotlight is seriously the coolest new place in town. I love everything about it. I walked past here on the way out of a hair appointment a few weeks back and the bright yellow colored seats and spotlights hanging from the ceiling caught my eye. I was intrigued, what is this place! It popped up out of nowhere and it looked like I great time. Finally I had a chance to come inside and it was everything I thought it would be and more. They had the entire space decorated for Halloween, but not just decorated, it was an experience. This place is not just a bar, it's like an event. You'll see. So we came in and grabbed two seats at the bar. It was a Saturday around 2:30 and the bar was pretty full. I love the space so much, it's just right up my alley in terms of the exposed brick, seating, bright colors, big televisions and so on. They have a fantastic beer selection and of course, mango white claws, hallelujah to the basic B in me, I will never change, white claws are life. So, I notice there's a back area and inquire with the bartender about what's back there and she said to go check it out. Guys, so freaking cool. I don't want to spoil it for you but it was, like I said, an EXPERIENCE. Huge back room with swanky couches, more seating, an outdoor space with a high top seating area and other surprises, SO much room for activities. Then I went into the bathroom. Again, an experience. You cannot come here without checking out their bathroom. It was bizarre and trippy, crazy. Loved it. They had huge dispensers along the wall filled with bar snacks, again, just the coolest. They don't serve food here but the bartenders were very much supporting the idea of going to get food and bringing it back so that's what we did. We grabbed food from a few spots across the way, brought it back and didn't feel weird eating it at the bar at all. I would 100% come here to watch football on Sundays, 100% come here for day drinking on a Saturday, 100% would come here at night. It was such a cool place, the bartenders were attentive and nice. Great addition to Huntington.

My dog enjoying outdoor area expansion that Spotlight creates during COVID.

If you're in Huntington for a show or dinner, definitely stop by Spotlight for drinks. The always-changing art gallery aspect of it is so original. Every time you go it's a different experience. Personally I loved the live ice carving and body painting they had. Such a unique experience! Also, my dog loves it too!

I used to spend a lot of time and money at Spotlight, but will not go there again. Before it was a requirement by the state government, or required by any of the excellent restaurants and bars on the same block as Spotlight, they put a sign on their door and their website (see photo) requiring a vaccine passport. I am not open to letting a bar make health decisions for me, or leave it to a food vendor to check if I have had my latest booster. Let me be clear, this was a voluntary action by Spotlight to make this requirement. It was not inflicted on them. This was solely the decision of ownership If I am notified that this policy has been permanently retracted, I will remove this review. But I won't go back to Spotlight based on this action.

Spent a lovely post vaccination evening listening to Mark Bateman on guitar, enjoying tasty cocktails, dumplings, flatbreads and a delicious mushroom burger . Service was sweet and unrushed.

Great vibes, great spot! Our waitress, Sam was super attentive and friendly. All staff followed COVID protocol. Amanda was working the bar and recited all the drink special off the top her head and helped us and she recommended The Monet special which was Amazing!! Love this place will definitely come back!

I thought everyone lived in these mansions with manicured gardens. Now add rock music and a laser show? Yes, sharks with freakin' laser beams shows! I remember coming here on a date with my girlfriend (now wife) in the 90s and seeing a Pink Floyd laser show. I was a little perturbed because they only played New Pink Floyd. Brah, I wanna rock out to MONEY! My wife, bless her heart, bought us two tickets to see the Van Halen laser show. All these years later, we're back. And trust me, I'm still impressed with the beauty of the property. We walk down the hill to the actual planetarium. There's a couple of stoners on line, if they keep quiet during the performance then no one is gonna have problems. The theater is shaped like a circle, there's no bad seats. The doors close and for an hour, I had Van Halen music crankin'! The actual show, the lasers seem a little dated. I went to The Sphere in Vegas a few months ago, this is old technology. But, it's on Long Island and people still enjoyed the shows. 3.5 Yelp stars

How often can you visit now a museum that allowing you to see the entire building and the grounds for a great price. The architecture of the house and its grounds is unbelievable. It brings back a great memory of a trip in Spain. The harbour view is beautiful. Best spot of the place. There was a plus when we had the visit today, the annual car show for fall season. You need the entire day to fully enjoy this day. We missed to check on their planetarium as it is only open during night time of Fridays and Saturdays. There is good reason to return.

We definitely procrastinated as we waited till 3 weeks before our wedding to set up lessons, however that did not seem to be an issue for the people at the Ballroom of Huntington. They heard about our time constraint and immediately worked with us to get us into the studio as soon as possible. They are open late which is beneficial for our schedule. We were paired with Dennis who is an angel of a human being. He is a great teacher and was able to create choreography for our first dance and make it unique. He was very accommodating and even came in on a Sunday when the studio is closed to get us an additional lesson. By the end of our 4th lesson, we were ready to perform at our wedding and we only wish Dennis was there to witness it as I know he would have been very proud of us. The studio itself is a large space, however everyone practices in the same space regardless of if you are there for a group lesson or private lesson. It didn't make much of a difference to me and it provided us with a little audience. They have a great speaker system so they can play whatever song you want for your dance. The cost was on the higher end for what I expected, but I don't know what the cost of private lessons normally runs. Ultimately, we are very happy with our decision to use Ballroom of Huntington to learn our first dance.
