Spotless laundry is always a great experience. They have WiFi, a bathroom, coin machine plus lots of vending machines and games. There's a variety of load size washing machines. Yesterday I came in and asked to combine my cards. The Manager Kimberly raised her voice at me and said she couldn't do it because I didn't have enough stamps to redeem my loyalty card. She rudely asked if I could count my stamps and if they were equivalent to one card. I said yes they are and she continued to argue with me. Finally I said that I was not going to argue over $6.50. The lady was nice to other customers but so rude to me that I felt like I was being publicly discriminated. Not to mention the rude service, the lady at the front counter on Sunday day shifts likes to talk about other employees, customers and gossips way too much instead of doing her job. She's more focused on doing her arts and crafts than helping the customer. Not to mention the weekend day shift lady likes to put the customers to work which is against labor laws. Finally, There is BLACK MOLD in the washing machine rims and the place is way too crowded, there's no air conditioning which violates the OSHA ACT. Having no a/c is a liability issues for the customers. Not to mention that the majority of the washing machines are broken and so are the dryers. Anyone who reads this, I would highly recommend boycotting this facility. read more

I am giving this laundromat a 5 star review because the staff here is very helpful. I don't usually use laundromats but my washing had piled up and I didnt want to spend my whole day washing. The washing is expensive but you get free drying so it evens out. Also the dryers here are bomb. I also utilized their laundry service which is impeccable too. read more

It's been a couple of decades since I've had to use the laundromat. I had a large, fluffy bedspread I wanted to clean that was too large for my home washing machine. So I came here. The woman who works here was very helpful and friendly. She showed me how to use the commercial washer. Then she told me the drying was free! For $7.50 I have a beautifully cleaned bedspread. There are a variety of washing machines to use including some that are very large in fact extra large. There are numerous drying machines so you don't have to wait. Best of all drying is free. If you don't have your own laundry detergent there are supplies behind the counter for sale. There is a children's area for playing near the front of the laundromat. This facility is also kept very clean. I'll definitely come back and would highly recommend this laundromat. read more

*COVID19 Edition* I have some mixed feelings about this place. If I could have, I would have given them 3.5 stars but for the friendliness and quick service, I ultimately decided to kick them up to 4 stars. I dropped off 2 comforters to be cleaned, and it cost $25 and #35 (Down Comforter) each. I paid when I dropped them off, and they called 3 hours later. The comforters looked great (and the scent wasn't too overpowering with whatever they washed it with), and it was a quick and easy pick-up. The facilities themselves look fine, but I'm going to be real here. I didn't make it that far inside. I saw some arcade games and whatnot, but it didn't look like any of it was in service. So why the mixed feelings? I was really uncomfortable with the fact that the woman behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask. So if that's a make or break for you, be aware. On the other hand, she was incredibly friendly so that sort of balanced it out? If there wasn't a pandemic going on, I would give this place my full endorsement, but I'm not thrilled with their priorities now. read more

My sister recommended this laundromat to clean my king size comforters. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this establishment. It's been years since I have been to a laundromat. Inflation is widespread, the mid-sized washers cost $5 which is a few dollars more than I expected. The dryers are free so that helped ease my sticker shock. I used two washers to clean three comforters for $10 which is a better deal then $60 to $75 to have it professionally laundered. The commercial washers get the job done in 30 minutes. The jumbo dryers are SUPER hot and can take up to 40 minutes to completely dry a load. Overall, I was delighted with how clean my comforters turned out. My husband noticed it as well which says a lot. I look forward to stopping here again. read more

I dropped my laundry off here after 3 weeks of laziness over the holidays. It was $1.29 per pound with a 10 pound minimum, and blankets/comforters are charged separately from that. I have never dropped off laundry for someone else to do for me before but I had so much to do around the house with getting back to work I needed a break from chores. I called around to a few local laundromats and got quotes to wash a few comforters. I was given figures between $30 and $40 apiece. I had three to wash, so I bit the bullet and decided to go to a laundromat instead. Sitting there for a few hours would be worth the savings. I did a thorough Yelp search and came across Spotless Laundry. They have so many good reviews that I had to choose them. The free drying was definitely the icing on the cake. The girl working was super-friendly. I said I hadn't been in a laundromat in years. She showed me the best machines for large comforters, and explained where to put the detergent and softener. The machine that washed two comforters together was $7, and the one that washed one comforter was $5. The cycles were only about a half hour. The employee helped me choose the largest dryers, then grabbed a jar of quarters and loaded the machine up for me! Their signage says it's limited to one cycle (I think 40 mins), but she gave me a couple which was super nice. The industrial dryers are badass. They dried two comforters in less than an hour and a half. My huge natural down comforter was dried in about an hour. The space is clean but could use a little more seating. It was a bit chaotic, but I blame that on a customer who kept yelling at her two-year-old. I won't hold her behavior against this place. I'd definitely come back in the future, especially since their free drying saved me a few bucks. read more

True to its name, Spotless Laundry in Westland is-- spotless! This laundromat is clean and very well maintained. We've been going there for years and we've never been dissatisfied with its service and amenities. There is free drying when you wash your clothes there. Whenever we come in early when it opens at 7 in the morning, the washers and dryers have been cleaned already, ready for use. The restroom for customer-use only is clean. It has ample parking space in the front and back parking lots. The best thing about this laundromat are the people who work there. They are very kind and helpful. When we did our laundry today, Jennifer the manager helped us right away when we had a little issue about a washer. Anyway......because I'm sitting here RIGHT NOW and if you've ever sat and watched your camping gear dry, you know you are desperate to do anything to keep yourself entertained. So here we are. This is not your typical Westlland laundry mat (laundromat? Laundrymat?)As there are no homeless or violent people sleeping in front of the TV chairs. So this makes it the best laundry place in the area. The commercial washers start @ $6.50 for a basic wash. Drying is free. They ask you to sign up for the free "Laundry Club". When you visit 10 times, you'll get a $5 credit on your 11th visit. I don't use laundry places that often, but if you do, that's a nice perk. The interior is really clean and machines are well maintained. The usual chairs, TV, and vending machines are nice, but nothing compared to the arcade games!!!!! They have a pinball game, and, wait for it.......... A multi-game machine with Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, Centipede, Galaga, Space Invaders, and my all time favorite-Burger Time!! In the same strip is a Happy's Pizza, a nail salon, hair salon, and its right next door to Aldi. I imagine that you could do some serious mulit-tasking while your clothes wash and dry. Dry Cleaning is available, and drop off laundry is $.75 /pound. Free WiFi and very friendly attendents will keep me coming back when I need a ginormous washer. I have to say it's been 20 years since I have been inside a laundry mat. So naturally I call and spoke to a wonderful lady that gave me the run down. This clean laundry mat, centrally located in Westland next to Tim Hortons in wayne road was great. I needed a washer That I could use to wash my comforters without breaking the bank. Here at Spotless they have 80 lb washers. They cost about 8 dollars and washed the clothes very well. They have several different size washers and all the drying is FREE! YES FREE. The bathroom on site was kept well. You can tell the owner put love in the business, the atmosphere was great. There is a coffee maker there, not sure if that was for us, a pinball maxhine, a sitting area where xhildren could play and was kept organized. If you forgot your wash soap they have it. If you need dryer sheets, laundry bags and even those pods...they have it. What I was most impressed with is how the gentleman there handled the customers and how well he kept the place clean and the dryers with coins. There are towels there so you can wipe up after yourselves, complimentary of the business. This place is the BEST Laundromat I've ever been to, by far! Very inexpensive with FREE use of dryers if you wash there!!!! I live in an apartment that has a small stacked washer and dryer, So I wash cloths in my apartment and I go to a Laundromat to wash large blankets and large quantities of towels to save time. This Laundromat has it all! Flat screen TVs with cable, FREE Dryers, FREE WiFi and A child play area with arcade games and toys. It's located in a newer strip of buildings. It's VERY clean, and has all nice new washers, dryers, laundry carts, and folding tables. It has 3 different size washers. The largest is a front loading washing machine that washes 8 loads of laundry in one machine for $7. I seriously washed 15 towels in one load, it was great! Lots of laundry goodies for sale. Different size laundry bags, whole jugs as well as the small packs in the vending machine of detergents and fabric softeners. All reasonably priced. They even have a vending machine for coat hangers 50 cents for 2 hangers. PS. Park around back it's much easier to get everything in and out. :) Awesome staff! Clean facility! Great Prices! This place is a game changer and deserves credit where credit is due. If you've had a bad laundromat experience, this is the place you want to go to change your opinion. If all you know is this place, then you know that fear that is "what if I move and have to find a new place?" I've been fortunate enough to have a washer and dryer at home my whole life. I've been to the laundromat only as a plan B, and I loathe it. Correction: loathed it. Moving into a townhouse last May, it was discovered that there wasn't enough amp service for my electric dryer. The search was on for a gas dryer and I was willing to sacrifice meals to pay for it - whatever it would take to avoid even 1 trip to the laundromat. Well, that didn't happen and I accidentally (and luckily) stumbled upon this place. It's clean - like really clean, and it's a friendly and safe place to be against your will. They offer free wi-fi and have cable tv in 3 of the 4 corners that make up their space. I've lost probably $10 altogether to my claw game obsession, but it goes with the territory. Their machines are well maintained and while the wash is more expensive than you'll be accustomed to, their dryers are free and fast! BRILLIANT sales philosophy that I have mad respect for... I can imagine the number of people that wash and bolt, and nobody dries dirty clothes so it makes perfect sense and is the sign of a smart owner. Their staff works their tails off. I can't imagine they are banking from their hourly rate but they work like they are. Whether it's slow or crazy busy, you'll never see them leaning behind the counter or just standing there. It's been 6 months without a dryer for me, and I don't even care. My only word of caution is to try to avoid this place on a Sunday afternoon - it's packed. Honestly this place is great!! It's really super clean, like really really clean. The man that was working Was one of the hardest working people I have ever seen. He was also very friendly and extremely helpful. I came to wash a down comforter. And when I was going to put it into the dryer he asked me if I wanted some tennis balls to throw in with it so it would dry quicker and better. That is something I do at home but the thought never crossed my mind to bring them with me. All the machines were in working order and like I said before they were super super clean. I dread going to the laundry mat and put it off for as long as possible. But now that I know this place exists I wont mind going to laundry mat anymore. It was well worth the 20-25 min drive. I've been to several other laundry mat over the years and they left much to be desired but not this place, it's great. They have all the normal stuff too. Detergent, bleach, fabric softener, and anything else u might need to do ur laundry. They even sell hangers in case u forgot yours.
