I was extremely disappointed with my experience there…read more I brought in a pair of working pants and a simple silk dress for dry cleaning and to my surprise, the owner asked a surcharge of four dollars for my dress which he said did not qualify as a "simple" dress. When I asked him to show me an example of such a dress in the store, he could not show me a single one and as it turned out, he had charged everybody four dollars more than the advertised price. Finally, when I decided to have the pants dry cleaned only, he produced a new bill, but added a 50 cents surcharge for the same pants that he had given me a bill for 5 minutes ago! I found this extremely shocking. This is truly false advertisement and unfair business towards their customers. I will never go back!!! Valerie WCY MD June 2012

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are honest about what they can and can't offer. I did a pick up today and our items were hemmed well and on time with the quoted price standing. Multpile customers were served at the same time and ample attention to all of them. Maybe the best part of why I made it a point to leave the review is cause I WASN'T asked to- like almost every place you go these days despite how good you thought the service was. Great job Heartlake! See you next time!

Catherine, the attendant, went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was comfortable and stress-free. She patiently showed me how to use the coin-operated machines and even loaned me a mesh laundry bag big enough to fit my king-size comforter to keep it safe during the dry cycle. At only seven dollars for a 27-minute XL wash cycle and two dollars for a 25-minute Large dry cycle, the prices are incredibly affordable. I was delighted to be able to use my preferred detergent and Oxiclean for my very sensitive skin. As a young, petite female, I felt completely safe at Suds Laundry. Catherine was always available to provide assistance or advice, and the front and back doors were continuously left open. The laundromat is located in a nice area, and there are stores nearby to get snacks while you wait. Suds Laundry's clientele who visited were friendly and welcoming. Before my visit, I spoke with the owner over the phone, and he kindly explained everything and answered all of my questions. Suds Laundry is a family-owned business, and I highly recommend supporting them. My experience was excellent, and I would definitely use Suds Laundry again. One of the things that impressed me the most was Catherine's attention to detail. She even offered me a clean plastic bag to put my dried comforter in, free of charge, when I realized I forgot mine at home. At other laundromats, I've had to pay for every little thing, so I was pleasantly surprised. Clearly, the owner has trained his staff well in providing superior customer service. I do have a couple of suggestions to make Suds Laundry even better. It would be helpful to have a step ladder or step-stool for short people to pour detergent into the washer. Also, a few more rolling baskets would be useful. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Suds Laundry, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy and affordable laundromat.
