I hired this service after seeing flyers in my building for Lily & Associates Cleaning & Moving Service. I am attaching the flyer for context, since the Yelp listing appears under a different business name but uses the same phone number/business contact information. The first visit was billed as a $100 deep cleaning for my dad's studio apartment and lasted about 45 minutes. My dad had only lived there for about a week, so this was not a long-neglected apartment or an unusually difficult job. The plan was for this to become a weekly cleaning service afterward at $75 per visit, so I was hoping to establish a reliable ongoing arrangement. Unfortunately, the cleaning did not meet expectations. The floors did not appear to have been swept or mopped, the toilet seat was still dirty, the coffee nook counter was still dirty, visible pieces of trash were left behind, and the leather sofa still had visible marks from something that had dripped and had not been wiped off. Because my dad needs extra support, having a reliable and thorough cleaning service is especially important. I raised these concerns, and the company agreed to come back and address them. However, on the day of the scheduled return, they canceled at the last minute and moved it to another day. At that point, I requested a refund so I could hire another company rather than continue waiting. I was then told they do not offer refunds and only provide re-cleaning. I want to note that I did not sign a contract, and I was not told in advance, either on the flyer or in our communications, that refunds were not offered. I understand businesses may have internal policies, and I appreciate that they initially offered to return. But the combination of a disappointing first cleaning, a last-minute cancellation, and a no-refund policy that was not disclosed up front left us in a difficult position. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Save your money, she sent 1 girl (who was on the phone the entire time) to do a first time "deep cleaning". Her girl Andrea rushed through my 2 bed apartment, deep clean took an hour which is CRAZY (I have pets). She might as well took a Clorox wipe to the counter and called it a day. So I let Lilly know, she then sent the same girl the next day.. the girl didn't know what she needed to reclean so I told her. She said sorry and blamed Lilly (repeatedly) saying that her boss told her it was a regular clean not a deep cleaning. Again, she did a horrible rushed job and was rough on my furniture, blinds and dishes - all while on the phone again. The crazy part is I told Lilly that another cleaner had ghosted me days before and I really wanted a nice cleaning bc my mom was visiting. She did not include the microwave, fridge or oven for a first time deep cleaning nor did she do anything "extra" (or nice) for her poor service and me having to spend 2 of my work from home days. Are use Liliana so she's this time for packing and cleaning so I thought cleaning was included. Three women including Lily came to pack my one-bedroom apartment. While cleaning someone use the restroom to avoid sitting on the toilet seat I guess they squat there was pissed all over the place ....had the nerve to put the top down. I discovered this when I had to use the restroom and went berserk, the lady kept no problem no problem it's a problem to me. I go and sit on mile beige or gray couch that's stays covered when people are over so not to get messed up with make up or whatever is on them but I see dark merges and then on the seat cushions of it I see shoe prints they walked all over my couch taking things off the wall. Lily says that's our fault let me know when we can have somebody come and use the carpet cleaner or something when she knows I'm going out of state for some months. In the laundry room sitting on the washer machine I had a piss carpet throw on there to be washed that my dog used and I believe they packed it I cannot find it to wash it. I had my suitcases out so I can pack my clothes that I'm taking on my trip full of things that they threw in there now what am I supposed to use drawers are not emptied, baskets are not emptied or packed away this is a damn mess. Lily and Associates, or Spotless Cleaners distribute fliers that are misleading. The owner herself is a little shady and has difficulty organizing clients for the day. However, the actual cleaners themselves are professional and kind. They do a great job. Lily left a flier on my door that my one bedroom is $60 and up. I keep my place spotless as is but am tired of cleaning every week so hired this team. The first cleaning she charged me $130 without details as to why. It was too late to discuss, I believe she waits until she is their and the cleaning has started so that you feel terrible when you question why the price change. The second time they never showed. The third time Lily charged my $75 after she had previously told me $60 going forward. I paid after complaining and told her I would not use her services again. I don't mind paying $75 per cleaning; however, I do not like to feel taken advantage of in such situations. It's sad because the women that work for her are wonderful. read more

Overpriced and items were stolen. Said it was $135 for initial service - said I would only do $100 max and she jumped on that. Where I stupidly went wrong. Baseboards and fans not cleaned as stated. Additionally, my prescription glasses and a cup I value were stolen. Do not use their services. The lady outsources the labor for cheap and she is terrible to talk to and discuss with. I'm sure she does a great job when she cleans, but how she conducts her business is nothing less than dishonest. This is my experience with Spotless Cleaning Service while helping my Brother in Law and 8 months pregnant Sister in Law with their move. The reason I'm writing this review is because new or inexperienced Yelp users get their reviews tossed by the system, and more people need to know what it is like using this company. First of all, how we came into contact with her services was when her or someone plastered the apartment complex with her fliers against the wishes of the complex of course. My brother in law saw "1 BR move out cleaning for $60 & Up" and thought it would be a good deal. So after we cleared out all of his furniture and belongings Lily came over to do her "complimentary walk through" for a quote. This 700 sq ft. apartment literally just needed to be swept, dusted, and vacuumed. Lily said she would clean the apartment for $100, a price higher than she had on her flier for a 3 BR cleaning. When asked why it wasn't $60, she just smiled and said "& Up". For $60 she said she would only clean the bathroom and the kitchen, but would NOT clean any appliances, we would need to pay $40 more if we wanted that and for her to clean the bedroom and living room. So a 700 sq ft. 1 BR apartment with tile or wood everywhere but the bedroom was $100 in her mind, not $60. For $60 she wouldn't clean a bedroom. She wouldn't budge on pricing. My Brother in Law called in to work and we cleaned the place together. We then reported her to the apartment office for soliciting and dishonest business practices and they gave her a friendly call not to come back to the premises. read more

When Lily arrived she and her assistant immediately began working. They were VERY thorough. Vigorously cleaning all the nooks and crannies. She even took the door off of the oven. BUYER BEWARE!! I hired this service after getting a flyer on my door. I requested a move out clean and when Lily arrived she also recommended getting the carpet cleaning packaged in woth the move out clean. The carpet clean would be outsourced to another company. The package would total $250 and she gave me a "guarantee" for the cleaning, stating that if the apartments charged me for any cleaning services provided, to bring it to her attention and they would settle it woth the apartment complex. First of all, the service was not spotless and I took multiple pictures of areas that had been overlooked. I had to go in after the "spotless" cleaners and clean up areas that had been neglected or just very poorly wiped over. The carpet cleaning was fine and smelled pleasant. Based on the cleaning service alone, would have given 2.5 stars. It wasn't special and I could have done a better job with more time. Attention to detail is not their specialty. Then I got a bill from the apartment complex for $147 for carpet cleaning. I let Lily know that I received a bill for a cleaning service they had provided and she responded that the carpet cleaning was not covered under that guarantee. I reminded her that she said ALL cleaning services were covered and that I would report her to all apartment communities I knew of about her deceptive business practices and that she was running her business dishonestly. Then she told me she wanted to keep the customer happy and I would have my money refunded within 60 days. I never received my refund and emailed her as a reminder. She never returned my message so I got third party involvement. They also tried to contact her and never heard back. They settled in my favor and I have my money back now. This is a fraudulent business and I highly recommend you do not get involved with them. She will not give you paperwork for her guarantee and deny the shoddy workmanship and go back on her word. I gave her 5 months to make this right before I wrote this review but it seems that she knows her business is dishonest and wont even try. Once again...buyer beware. read more

Pros: First off before i gve the bad, I will say the workers did a fine job besides me having to have them redo the carpet next to the baseboards, but the rest of the apt was great. Cons: To start off the flyer that was put on my door for her service clearly states "$60 & up." for a 1 bdrm. That being said I would have been ok with paying a little bit over the $60 but when Lily arrived and looked at the apt she told me it would be $160 for everything. A whole $100 more than her flyer. I told her no that was not gong to happen. She said it would take a full 6 hours of cleaning. So 6 hours of cleaning for $160 equates to around $26.50 / hour. After several back and forths we agreed on $120. During the back and forths she was trying to not even include the fans being dusted or the baseboards and focus more on just the kitchen and bathroom. Cleaners arive at 1:03 and stopped cleaning at 2:15. With 2 cleaners thats a combined cleaning time of 2.5 hours. I called Lilly about the time issue and how she over judged the timeing of the job. She then told me that the cleaners would not be done till 6. Which was not the case, because they just told me they would be done in 5 mins. I feel she over judged the job and over quoted me. If i use the actual $26.50 and multiply it by the actual time of cleaning i should have only paid 66.25. I paid the bill of $120 because i did agree to it, even though I feel it was not worth the job. Also we asked if any money was need up front she said no. Then when the cleaners arrived she happily txted us that she needed a $60 upfront deposit. VERY dissapointed was thinking of using the maid service in the future for regular cleaning but her dishonesty has swayed me back to just doing things myself. The flyer said $65 and up for 1 bedroom apartments. I was expecting to pay $150 because it is not a small 1 bedroom apartment. I was quoted $250.00 but was promised that it would be as clean as when I moved in. And the flyer stated that there was carpet cleaning. I then looked at my apartment after work and found that the dishwasher was not cleaned, the carpet was only vacuumed and there were still a couple of spots on the walls that were not cleaned. I mentioned my dissatisfaction and was offered to only be charged more for a carpet cleaner to come out and clean the carpet. Even after I mentioned that she told me it would be move in clean there was just worse customer service and she told me to just send the money. Do not trust them to what they say. They will overcharge and will not completely clean the apartment. Now the apartment will charge me more if they clean or replace the carpet. read more

Called to get status and they completely forgot about it. Said they would come later in the afternoon so I had to take the afternoon to accommodate them. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY. Found her flyer on my door! Says whatever it takes to get the job on the phone and then doubles price on the day! I only needed my tile and wood floors washed and my carpets cleaned. I walked into my apartment to find her cleaners were doing their laundry in my washer. Couldn't stop the machine so had to let it keep going. Ended up with a filthy washer with plum pips and other seeds. My washer was clean before they did this. I am waiting to hear if I have to pay damage for the machine when they pick up this week!! Was told the carpet cleaning was an extra charge.. not included in the quote even though we discussed 'move out clean including shampoo carpets'. I offered to give her my cc info when she had done the quote because she was there in front of me. She said no I would have to do over the phone. The flyer suggest that her prices for a 1 bedroom were $55 and up. She decided that my particular apartment should cost $120...of course probably having nothing to do with the fact that I live in a rather upscale apartment building. None the less...I was lazy and didn't want to dust, so I thought I'd treat myself. She stated that folding the laundry would be an additional $40. Imagine to my surprise when I returned home to find that the floors were not mopped, the ceiling fans that were quoted in the dusting were not dusted, there was still a ring around my tub, etc etc etc...I'm not exactly sure what was actually cleaned because NOTHING was actually cleaned.
