This place is super cool on the outside with like a Harley Davidson theme. Everyone who works here is super friendly and they know what they are doing. We were back to pick him up in under 2 hours! I took my senior dog to this groomer twice. The first time I made an appointment, I showed up with my dog on time and no one was there and the front door was locked. I tried calling the owner to no avail. We waited 30 minutes and still no one came. We left. I received an apology several days later from the owner. I took my dog in to be groomed last week. My dog came out with a huge cut on her nose. I was told my dog wanted out of the cage and cut herself. My dog is as passive as they come. She's 14 years old and a sweetie. She's been to other groomers many times with no issues. Now my dog is getting a white scar on the top of her nose, and more of the scab is coming off daily so I have no idea how it's going to look once fully healed. I called the groomer today and she's sticking with her story. She had a responsibility to protect my pet. I do not believe her story. I would not recommend this groomer. You may be stood up, or worse. read more

We take our dog to get groomed here all the time because my dog likes everyone there and feels welcome. We needed an appointment this week so I just sent a text and they found a way to fit her in! Today we took Sass in the morning and they did an awesome job! I love how nice her ears came out and she is as always so soft! I laughed at my dog when I saw her. I paid $60 for full service which should've included paw pad trimming, ear cleaning, a cut, and nail clippings. In the end, my dogs hair was half cut which look like a bowl cut, only back nails are cut, paw pads weren't trimmed, and her face area was not trimmed either. I thought you guys would know how to groom a dog. To top it off, the service was $52 and I was going to tip anyways, but when I handed her the $60 I wasn't even offered change. read more

Please don't take your senior dogs here!!! Took my dog home and saw that he had more than a few cuts on his body and his cysts/pimples looked like they were cut open. Then i noticed he was bleeding from the skin covering his bones where his butt is, looks like he was dragged and got "rug" burn. He's a senior dog who is afraid of everything so when he's scared he sits down. Makes me sad to think the groomers were that impatient with him to the point that they had to drag him. I love this place and I'm picky! The owner is amazing and does a great job with my dogs unique haircut :) she even dyes it for me which has made him very popular! I foster and she not only takes amazing care of some very troubled dogs she doesn't charge extra and even gives me great deals. I get aggressive and scared dogs and they do well there and seem happy when I get them back even when I'm scared of how they'll do. (More like 2.5 stars) My first visit here and to a dog groomer in general. Made an appointment for our Bullmastiff and smaller mixed breed dog to get a flea bath so I can get their bedding deloused and some flea treatment applied. Initially made the appointment directly with the owner over the phone. Scheduled for them to come in on an early Sunday afternoon. Owner did indicate she would not be there that day. My dogs got taken right in and I went off to take care of a few errands during the couple of hours they would be at Spot On. On my drive back to do the pick up, I get a call from the groomer lady stating they were ready and was informed they had fleas, had to be given a flea bath, and that it was going to be extra. Um, okay, told the groomer that's the reason they were there and she said her boss didn't do what she was supposed to do (in informing her, I guess). My concern is, why wouldn't you call the pet's owner ahead before you performed an additional service in general? Or advise of a grooming policy/protocol that if fleas are found you will be charged? It would make sense to have that posted or advise new clients ahead of the grooming. Otherwise performing extra services without pre-approval, and then surprising the client after the fact, is just not cool. All goes okay during the dog pick up although it looks like I did not receive the 1st time client discount which happens to be emblazoned over their Google listing and business cards. I looked at what I had written down after the fact at home when I got the ballpark phone quote and it was pretty close. Guess you have to make sure to ASK for the discount to get it applied. Out the door with tip the visit ran me $118.00. Ear cleaning and nail clipping are supposedly 'free'. Their online ad says teeth brushing as well, but am not sure if that happened. Payment was run via Square, which is fine, I just don't like that the services were not itemized. I know from my own experience with PayPal Here you can make that happen so why not Square? This made it lack a bit of finesse for a storefront/retail operation with no official merchant account. A plus that they are open 7 days a week. our second visit to spot on was very disappointing,our Murphy's first visit they did a great job the second trip we also too our Tucker although we found out they had fleas they're cuts were scalped and uneven Tucker is schnsizer he now has no eye brows ? Booked an appointment for our dog and was told she would be finished in an hour and a half. I had some errands to run so that was fine. I like that there was not a bunch of dogs there waiting and that they book there dogs that way so they can get them in and out. When I picked up our dog she was ready and not keep in a dog crate. She looked great and I even think our dog had a good time. I was given the first time customer discount 25% off. When I pick up our dog the owner was very nice and told me about everything they did. Everything was included including doing something called "scaling" the teeth. It's when they scrape the tartar off the teeth. We already scheduled our next visit. We will be coming back. read more

I picked my dog up from a grooming appointment and she had a big abrasion on one of her paws and bled all over my backseat. When I got home I realized that a different paw was also sliced and she was bleeding from that one as well. I called and left a message for the owner to call me back and I never heard from her. I then sent her a text message and I have still mot received a response. read more

I give them a ZERO. I took my dog in yesterday for a grooming appointment and she came home dirty, scared, in pain and not to mention she had cuts and razor burns. The hair cut was so hacked in places, long and short and the majority of her body had been taken down to bare skin. . You can see chopped scissor marks. I am so incredibly Disgusted and ashamed that a pet groomer could possibly do this to any animal. I believe this to be total abuse and neglect. Would have given 5 stars, but, my baby got pushed back due to Grooming emergency. The reason I went there was due to a good yelp review. I was looking for a place that wouldn't make me leave her all day...I didn't want her to be stressed any more than she needed to be. However, the emergency was a skunked dog and I appreciate that it is important to get that out of the dogs eyes and face-a direct hit can cause a lot of discomfort, stinging, burning, etc...it's nice to think that she would do the same for my pet if the situation came up. I brought both of my dogs here for a shampoo, nail trim, nail polish and gland expression. I made an apt a few days in advance. I arrived to my apt and was told the groomer was out sick but that he would try to do it anyways. I came back when I was told they would be ready and nothing was done to them. They didn't even smell fresh or clean. Their nails had not been trimmed. Later that day after going home, both dogs were still scooting and had gas which led me to believe their glands had not been expressed. I was told upon pick up to bring them back the next day and the groomer would be in and trim their nails and paint them, I arrived the following day and they were not even open! 1st time I went there the price was right, but the groomer clipped my dog's tail and created a sore that would not heal because my dog kept licking the sore. I had to buy a plastic guard to prevent dog from licking sore but everytime my dog's tail hit the wall when she wagged it, blood would spatter all over! I got over it and decided to give Spot On another try, again the price was right, so I thought, I was called and offered a puppy' price($30-35) cause my dog was 6-7months, and after the groomer was done, they tried to charge me full price(upwards of $60 or more). I was so upset and both the owner and employee argued with me! How unprofessional and what a way to lose a customer(s). I must mention because I was told it would be $30-35, that is all I brought in cash and that is what I paid but I had to argue for it! read more

I pulled up in front of this groomer and parked. I was actually in the plaza for a hair appt at the salon next door. The lady, i assume, is the owner came out and asked me to move my car. She said that if i didn't move i was okay with a dog getting killed if it ran into the street. Not sure how my parked car has anything to do with someone else's dog running in the street IF they got off their leash. I told her i actually had an appt for her salon next month and would not be moving my car. She then started yelling saying she was going to get me towed. She went back into her business and started talking to her customers about me. There was no parking in front of the salon and it was the next spot available. I told the salon what happened and they went to talk to her. She started also yelling at them. I did end up moving my car because the salon employee got yelled at on my behalf. Called to schedule an appointment to have my Golden Retriever bathed and TRIMMED for the summer months. I spoke with someone who, when I inquired as to the price, told me it is usually $65 but if I asked for her, it would be $60. When I dropped my dog off, the person I initially spoke with was not in that day. I requested a "puppy cut" to which the owner indicated with her fingers, about 2 inches. Two hours later I picked my dog up and I didn't even recognize her; she had been shaved! And, she charged me $70! I not usually without words but I didn't say much, paid and left. I recently took my elderly dog to Dawn at Spot On and am very glad that I did! This is a smaller business that thankfully can cater to individualized needs of your pet. The bather was very good about introducing herself to my dog instead of just snatching him up. My dog can get rather snippy considering he cannot see very well, but after this visit I am comfortable bringing him back to Spot On. I waited two hours and received a call he was done, picked him up and he was groomed very nicely, nails were trimmed and even had an adorable bandana. I have had negative experiences with other local groomers in which my dog was exhausted and shaking, this was not the case at Spot On! Dawn (the owner) and her sidekick were very personable and their care for my pet was as loving as my own. read more
