Your treatment plan could consist of exercises tailored to your issue, manual work on you by the PT, and ice/heat/stim. (Love the compression ice sleeve!) The PTs and aides are really good at what they do, designing a specialized plan for you, being responsive to feedback, and having an awareness of the room. Kudos to Shane, James, Mike, Jordan, Tony and the team for their attentiveness; thank you Shane especially for your professionalism and help! It seems like most PT places have a dated feel to them but this one feels better, perhaps because it is well kept, the signed sports memorabilia on the walls, and the comforting sound of the washing machine running. It's a smallish space so conversations carry throughout the room, so you pretty much hear everything. Not too much privacy if you want that. They also have convenient hours. They are by appointment and have early morning and later times. If you go at a busier time, it gets more hectic and there's a lot more staff multitasking happening. Before you start, they contact you about what you will owe per session. I ended up owing more than initially told (estimate?) which is never a good surprise. Perhaps double verifying ahead of time would be good. This wasn't the cheapest place if you're budget conscious. Parking is easy and they're located right next to Davey's bar.

Archer in the Closter NJ office on 5/10/24. I have been at this office for 3 times in recent years. Each time, the co-pay is collected at the time you check in. I called the Teaneck billing office to explained to them the co-pay was paid, but I no longer has the receipt because it's almost 2 years ago. There wasn't anything the woman at the Teaneck office can do for me. I sent the statement (without a payment) back along with a written letter explaining my situation. That didn't resolve my issue because I had received another bill this month. I called the number 201-744-2894 on the bill and explained my situation. The gentleman I spoke with said that I must show prove that I had paid. He is not allowed to make any adjustments. He said if I don't pay, it will go to a collection agency. Bottom line is, they don't care to resolve your billing issue. They just want their money. Lastly, I was informed by them, they can bill you up to 7 years after service was done. So hold on to your receipts up to 7 years.

I received an automated appointment confirmation the day before my follow-up appointment. I came in after three weeks of the initial visit to let him know I was still in pain, only to find out He is on vacation. The young lady at the front Desk look but surprised and said "oh no one called you"., I reply no, but I had a computer asked me to confirm my appointment. Don't put your trust in a place that will do a procedure without looking at images and not be there when you need them or have a decency to call you to let you know That they won't be there to help you. A year and a half ago, I suffered a terrible fall down a flight of stairs that resulted in three…read morebroken and displaced ribs. Since then, I had been in and out of doctors' offices dealing with significant pain, multiple MRIs, and a frustrating recovery process. Unfortunately, some of the imaging wasn't even performed in the correct areas, and while everyone focused on my rib injuries, the cause of my severe lower back pain was never fully investigated. After my most recent MRI, physical therapy was recommended as an important part of my recovery. Joint & Spine Rehabilitation was one of the providers in my insurance network, and after calling several facilities with little response, I contacted Joint & Spine Rehabilitation. From the moment the front desk answered the phone, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and genuine concern. They asked thoughtful questions, listened to my situation, and scheduled me for an appointment the very next day. When I arrived, I was nervous because of the amount of pain I was experiencing. Dr. Gigante took the time to thoroughly review my rib imaging and asked whether I had ever received a lower lumbar MRI. I had not. He explained that while my ribs had sustained significant trauma, my lower spine may have also been affected by the fall. He ordered the MRI, and I received insurance approval within a week. During that first visit, Dr. Gigante also took X-rays of my pelvis and discovered that it was misaligned and that I had injured my SI joint--something that could explain the persistent lower back pain I had been struggling with for so long. Starting physical therapy was intimidating. When you've been in pain for an extended period, fear of making it worse can be overwhelming. My physical therapist, Chetali, has been absolutely amazing. She has helped me work through that fear, listens carefully to how I'm feeling, adjusts treatment accordingly, and continues to encourage me every step of the way. Dr. Reilly has also been fantastic. His adjustments have been incredibly helpful, and whenever I mention a concern or a new symptom, the entire team takes the time to listen and find ways to help. What stands out most about Joint & Spine Rehabilitation is how much they genuinely care about their patients. After just five weeks of treatment, the staff feels like family.
