We finally asked the bartender if we could have it to go and she explained that it was on the ticket but never made. She went back to make it herself and brought it in a to go container. When we got home it was essentially a side salad missing the fundamental ingredient...grain. It was also missing several other ingredients. It blows my mind that we ordered 5 things, 2 were messed up, and we were charged for all of it. We got a half apology and a full priced bill.

The bartenders are super friendly and get your drinks to you fast. They make recommendations based on what you typically like- since they are mostly locally sourced drinks.

The fries were amazing and I should've gotten the aolie initially, but didn't get it until I saw another table with an order. It was delicious. The service was very good. The server had good knowledge of the beers, food, and was friendly. This is one of the best beer bars in the US. The Atlanta area is fortunate to have two killer beer bars, the other being the Brick Store Pub in Decatur.

The taproom "beertender" seemed to be fairly knowledgeable regarding the various offerings - there's also a convenient list highlighting the different beers with style notes. We sat at the bar and were able to bring in some food from the nearby restaurants (I grabbed some wings at the nearby Marthie Ann's which were excellent). To drink I tried Hoptown's own Orange Mango Wheat - a somewhat basic wheat beer with hings of sweet tangerine and mango - nothing special. I had a Maine Brewing "Lunch" with the wings which is always a winner - it's an exceptional New England IPA. I was in town for work and wanted to try somewhere local for dinner. Located in a neat downtown area with several other restaurants and some boutique style shops. Since it was a Monday evening many of them were closed. I decided to try Bigfoot's Peanut Butter and Bacon Burger (Grilled half pound angus burger topped with bacon and your choice of cheese. The peanut butter comes on the bottom bun for the added kick of flovor!). Other than being very messy, which I had to request extra napkins for (it appears that normally that they have paper towel rolls spaced around the bar top but was not near me), it was really good. The patty was cooked medium well and all the ingredients were tasty. Because of the mess I would probably not get it again. But that is the only reason. The tots were perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. It was not super crowded and other than having to ask for extra napkins, bartender was attentive. In addition to the bar top there are some tables as well. If I was back in the area would have no problems with returning and trying another burger, their prize winning wings or the "IDK What I Want" Sampler of 3 of their starter options.
