Too bad I can't leave a no star rating or I would. Do not buy anything you may have to return from these people, we have had an absolute nightmare with them.
This Christmas we decided to buy two bikes for our two young sons as Christmas presents, they were ordered and delivered with no problem.
The problem came when on Christmas Eve we attempted to assemble the bikes.
Both forks on the bikes were wonky, one was so bad we were amazed that it had gone through any kind of quality control system. Neither bikes were usable and we were left in the uncomfortable position of explaining to the kids that we had got the bikes- because Father Christmas would not have brought them faulty broken bikes.
The elder child was ok, the younger child was really upset. On Christmas morning.
So. I call and call over the Christmas period and either can't get through due to call volume or the offices are shut. Then finally I get through. The lady is very helpful and I explain that I need her to email me return slip as I don't have mine. So she says she will and arrange the return collection to come.
Next day I have still had no email. So I call and explain again and receive the email which was not sent. I wait for the collection. Which.... does not happen.

When I call and finally get through after several calls that day, and waiting on hold for around twenty minutes I am told that the collection was not organised either, but I should rest assured all will be put right. But guess what?? The next return day comes around, and ....the guy who turns up to collect cannot get the bar code to scan. He also can't speak much English and all he can say is "sorry" and "problem" shows me his handset from which I work out that he can't collect the bikes until the next day. So I say ok, come back tomorrow.

So.
I call again. After several attempts to get through I'm hold for another twenty minutes at least. Another arrangement is made to collect.
A lady turns up with a car. Full of other packages. She says wait, I will come back later after 4 or tomorrow. But can you guess what happens??? She doesn't come back.

Loosing the will at this stage.
So I call again, it takes about 8 attempts to get through to sports direct and again I'm on hold for around twenty minutes. I explain the whole frustrating situation to a lady who is very helpful, like all the other people I have spoken to at sports direct. This lady says don't worry I will get it sorted for you. So we arrange another collection, I wait in again all day. And guess what... no collection.

So I call the next day- today, now the 25th of January. I explain again. After the whole trying to get through a million times and being on hold forever. At this point I am seriously angry. I explain AGAIN. I get told AGAIN that a collection will happen, and I won't have to wait they will do it today, as I have been so badly treated and the lady agrees that this is an incredibly frustrating and upsetting experience.
I tell her I will be out for half an hour to collect the kids, she says fine, I have told the driver that he has to double back to collect the bikes today even if he has to go out of his way.
No collection again.
This is now the 7th time I have not had a collection, and nobody has had the decency to contact me even one time since the original arrangement to return. Not one email text or phone call.
I will be calling again tomorrow when I can to arrange another collection. I will not EVER, EVER, be buying another single item from sports direct as long as I live, not even a pair of football socks, (which to be fair shrink every single time I buy them and I don't know why I bother..) I want to know when these bikes will be collected. And I'd like an apology. And. I'd like some compensation for what I have counted up to now as 6DAYS WASTED waiting for collections that never happen, and I don't want that compensation in the form of vouchers.
