It We had a reservation and got seated right away, which was nice (recommend making reservations if you can) I wanted an omelette, but it wasn't on the menu besides an egg white omelette. The server was helpful and still made it work for me. The omelette was really good. I recommend adding onions, they made it taste a little sweet!! My meal also came with hash browns, toast, and bacon which were also very tasty!! Overall, it was a solid brunch spot and I would go back.

Our server was very kind and, while it was busy, you never felt like you were forgotten about, though our food did take a little longer than I would've expected, but I chalk that up to the fact they were so busy. The meal itself was great! I ordered their Ranchero Breakfast Burrito, which is a decent size and is relatively "healthier" for a breakfast burrito. It comes with eggs, a little cheese, poblano peppers, black beans, sweet corn, and quinoa. I loved the salsa that comes with the burrito and, while they didn't give me a choice for a side with breakfast, the pineapple covered in tajin was a great and unique twist! I would recommend this place if you haven't been, and I'd certainly stop back when I'm in Chicago next!

The pho came prepared with everything I was expecting! The broth could have been hotter but I just microwaved it for a bit. I really enjoyed it. They give you a large portion of noodles and broth so that it could easily make two meals or you could split it with someone else. I'll definitely order from here again!

I tried to stop by Bon Bon for some shrimp spring rolls before a show at Cobra Lounge but they were…read moresold out so I unfortunately had to take in the tunes on an empty stomach. After the show ended I was still really in the mood for spring rolls and even something more but I knew finding a decent option close to midnight that didn't require a trek would be difficult. So I was really surprised when a search turned up this random and seemingly new Vietnamese spot in River West of all places. It became clear after a little research that this was a cloud kitchen though so I was hesitant as I've had mixed results when it comes to other cloud kitchen ordering experiences. Having not been to the original MK Noodle also lended to my hesitation but after noting that they had pretty good reviews I decided to give their Express option a shot. I can't speak to the consistency with the original restaurant but I can say that the spring rolls and lemongrass pork banh mi I ordered both tasted good. Being able to add a bag of crispy, fresh fries and a can of coke to my sandwich for an additional $3 was also a nice option. The lemongrass pork was a little on the sweet side for my taste but was still enjoyable with good toppings and a crispy, airy baguette. I really like that they have a variety of spring rolls so I was able to get an order of shrimp and imitation crab. These were really good with fresh vegetables and nice sized shrimp and crab stick pieces. Not sure if they accidentally added an order of crab rangoons or if they automatically add them if you spend a certain amount or they just felt bad for making me wait but finding an order of these was a pleasant surprise as I enjoyed my late night meal. The peanut and sweet and sour sauces that came with the order also tasted really nice. The only reason I am putting 4 stars is that the order took a while longer than quoted to be ready. That being said I appreciated their customer support reaching out to me directly by phone to provide me with updates and apologize for the wait. This allowed me to just relax in my car and avoid all the bustle going on with all the delivery drivers and others picking up orders but when they phoned to let me know I could head inside I still had to wait a while longer for the food to be brought out. Still, I would definitely order from this spot again.

They had given us so much that we figured we would hire an in home chef to cook them a spectacular meal. My sister found Chef Rogers online and we got very lucky. Immediately upon our first conversation Chef Rogers was dropped into exactly what we were looking for, how we wanted things to be, and the quality of the meal that we were looking for. So let's talk about the quality. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. The meal consisted of tuna carpaccio (AMAZING), burrata (did not try), 45 day aged steak (so excellent) with whipped celery root (INCREDIBLE), and then a butter cake with macerated berries (HEAVENLY). It would be one thing if Chef Rodgers was an incredible chef... which he is but to really be so accommodating about the menu and just such an unbelievably nice guy is why you hire him. He is the total package and you're not going to find a better in home chef in the area.

Although our first meeting and tasting went well and they were open to helping create a menu that represented the Tuscan theme we were going for the catering manager seemed like this was her first event. The tables she ordered for the venue did not fit and she did not find out until 1 week before the wedding. The top tier of my cake was thrown away, even though specific instructions were provided. The service at the actual wedding was good and like other poster I did have someone dedicated to me to bring food and drinks which was very nice. However, when you spend over $10,000 to feed 80 people that seems like the least they could do. After filling out the survey with Wolfgang they did send me a $100 gift certificate for the restaurant but that hardly covers the top tier of my cake that I will never get back. In addition, they sent me another email recently because I had not used my certificate to see if they could deliver some food instead and when I asked for a similar Tuscan menu for a New Years Eve dinner I was told they would get back to me with a menu on 12/21 and then I never heard anything back. Bottom line - the food was really amazing and people still talk to me about it. The entire process left a lot to be desired.

While I am still disappointed at the multiple contacts during the process, the execution the day of the event was top notch. Several people have emailed us since the wedding saying that it was the best food that they've ever had at a wedding. The service was also very professional - competent staff, prompt service, and considerate while speeches were made. I particularly liked that they arranged to have one person dedicated to me (the bride) during the evening to bring appetizers and beverages so that I didn't have to worry about finding the bar and could chat with guests. They were flexible to incorporate some personalized aspects into the catering such as New Zealand wines since my husband is from there and a signature cocktail (Strawberry Basil mojito) which was absolutely fantastic. I would use them again, however I do wish that there was more guidance through the process in terms of a timeline or list of activities that we needed to accomplish in order to pull off the event. There were sometimes surprises in terms of payments suddenly being due in two days (while in the original contract, it was not top of mind and an earlier reminder would have been helpful).
