Very poor follow up. I had a procedure over a month ago and saw an arnp at the Spokane Valley…read moreoffice 5 days after the procedure. The arnp told me that I would need three additional procedures and that the scheduler would contact me. I have tried to contact the scheduler a couple of times. The first time her voicemail was full and hairline would just hang up on me when I called. I informed the receptionist about the voicemail and she said that she would send the scheduler on my chart message. I tried the scheduler again a week later and left her a message. This was a week and a half ago and have not heard back from her. I left a MyChart message for the arnp who had seen me and she has not gotten back to me. From what I've read my first follow-up procedure should have been a few weeks after my initial procedure but this obviously has not occurred. I've also read if it goes too long there can be further complications. When I called and asked to speak to the office manager the receptionist said she would send me to the scheduling supervisor but the scheduling supervisor is the person that has not gotten back to me.

The nan is a cretin, no social skills, bo communication on our questions and no discussion of what we were there for actually. I was referred there, Sypherd was my Dr. What happened in that office was obscene. Absolutely, no communication, no social skills at all. Literally, open your pants to examine penis and testicles, no idea why. Then a cursory bend over order on the table. He didnt ask if my wife wanted to step outside or anything. Evidently I was to tall for him and he didnt think of his stool, but he told me to bend my knees....so as I begin to do that, he uses his knee to hit the back of my knees causing me to drop down, while at the same time, he forcibly went up with the rectal exam, it was extremely painful and when he finished, he just dropped a moist towelettes on the table to clean up with. My wife was horrified, I was embarrassed and this Doc then told me I needed a biopsy and walked out. I asked to see another doc. .however they do not allow that, in fact i was told that i could see Dr. Nelson, but he wouldn't treat me, he would just answer any questions and then refer me out of network! In the end, I had my GP refer me to Spokane Urology. OMG, what a difference on everything, from the office staff, the nurses and Dr. Lance! I cannot say enough good about him. It was like night and day. Please go to Spokane Urology, you will not regret it at all!

They were also so good with our son; I know that I always assume that people who work at a children's hospital will be good with children, but I've had some experiences in the past at other hospitals/clinics in which that has not been the case, but everyone we interacted with at Shriners today from the reception/security desk to the registration desk all the way to the care team and cast application team was top notch and very friendly and professional. We were very happy with the level of care that our son received and the extremely pleasant demeanor of all the staff we interacted with. This hospital has helped restore a little of my faith in the medical community and I highly recommend it.
