Well, it's like the saying, " an attorney that represents themselves, has a fool for a client" or something to that effect, but I was seeking a professional home inspector because I wanted an independent inspector to look at my dream home with open eyes, and also because having one, took the pressure off me having to negotiate with the builder over the issues, not only that I was aware of, but also which Chris pointed out to me! Well I can not be more impressed with Chris and his company Patek Home Inspections. This guy knows his stuff, is pleasant, courteous and reliable and communicative! His experience and him being currently licensed in Florida as a general contractor, has certainly provided him with not only the experience in dealing with home issues, but also his contact with builders and his simple and brief explanations of the issues at hand. I mean, who is better suited to be a home inspector than a licensed general contractor? Chris also pointed out a bunch of slipping roof tiles that would ultimately lead to a catastrophic roof leak. That alone was worth his fee. Plus he comes back to re-inspect at no charge!, after the builder makes all of the repairs in order to make sure they were completed. That is unbelievable! I will be referring Chris on a regular basis as I have had first hand pleasure of dealing with him and can attest to his great value, trust and communication. Look no further.
