After moving to the area and getting a horrible haircut this past summer, I turned to you, people of yelp, to save me. Split Enz came back with good reviews and lots of stars, so I made an appointment and got matched to Taylor. I'm in my 40's with a full head of hair with no grays, and I consider this my biggest accomplishment. Because of this, I want a great cut. Additionally, I'm lazy and don't want a lot of product in my hair, so I'm looking for low maintenance. Obviously, I'm not low maintenance, but wouldn't it be great if my hair were. Taylor, to the rescue. People of yelp, you didn't disappoint. She nailed it. I love this place. I've had 5 cuts with her now, and it's effing perfect every time. The salon is great. Everyone is super laid back and friendly, and the prices are jaw-droppingly low. You'll probably get a great cut or color or style from anyone, but you should ask for Taylor. Not only will you get a good cut, but she's super fun while you're in her chair, and she just seems so authentic and chill. It's just a wonderful overall experience. She just started picking up extra days due to the pregnancy water they serve here, so it's the perfect time to give her a shot. read more

I wanted to like this salon as the stylist seemed nice but no one had masks on and they acted like this deadly pandemic is a joke. Even after I told them I just had thyroid cancer and asked them to wear a mask while I was inside. Sure...science doesn't matter. A few days ago I went in to get some highlights because I've been wanting to add blonde into my hair for a while now. Lori was my stylist and she asked me what I wanted and talked me through everything she was going to do to get me the results I was looking for. She was super sweet and personable and I had a great time talking to her while she was doing my hair. She did not disappoint when it came to the results she gave me exactly what i was looking for and I couldnt have been more pleased. I've been getting so many compliments. She gave my tips on how to maintain and answered any questions i had. I have been going here for years just for hair cuts and have anyways been pleased with my services, I'm glad I branched out and got booked with Lori for this appointment. Kara cuts my hair. I wasn't sure what type of cut I wanted the first time, so I asked her opinion. We went with a long bob (longer in front) with some layers, and I loved it. She also did a balayage color on my hair, and I love how it turned out. My hair is naturally wavy, so the cut and color she chose for me fits perfectly. I can just throw some styling product in it, let it dry, and I have natural beach waves. She is also very genuine and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend her! read more

Just got my third haircut by Haley and she knocked it out of the ballpark. Everyone loves my new cut. I'm not a very talkative person so the first two cuts I pretty much just sat but this time we talked the entire time as she cut my hair and I really felt like I've found the best hairstylist. I really like this place. They have cheap hair cuts that don't leave you choppy looking (but I don't know how well they do if its a more unique style, I usually just get trims). I also got my hair and makeup done here before my wedding and everything looked great. There was some confusion with the scheduling (so make sure to get everything confirmed) but overall they treated me very well and were very helpful. read more

So... update from my review. When I got home I noticed the tops of my balayage were red. I called right away and expressed my displeasure with how my hair went from brown, to red, to the light brown balayage. I was told the manager said I could come back and get my hair fixed at no charge. Great. I set up my appointment. Unfortunately I got called into work the day of my appointment and had to reschedule. I rescheduled for a Saturday. Once Saturday morning came it was snowing pretty bad out and I saw multiple reports of accidents and highway closures (I live an hour from the salon.) I called to reschedule and was told Wednesday would work. Perfect. So Wednesday comes and I called to ask if they had anything earlier... I was told I could come in at 2. I was happy. I was really impressed with how accommodating the salon was. Until I got there and then was informed that my stylist didn't even come in until 3. Another girl came and looked at my hair and goes "it's probably bad to you but it's not bad to me". Right then and there I wanted to leave. "You're asking for a miracle". I didn't think getting the red out with a regular color would be that big of an issue, but whatever. I almost walked out but decided to wait for my stylist. After my stylist arrived (and I waited almost an hour for her) she then tells me because I had to reschedule twice that now I had to pay for the product to be used. I'm sorry? Because I got called into work and then I couldn't even make it there because the highway was closed now I have to pay? Unbelievable. I wasted an hour to drive there, to wait an hour because they scheduled me for a time my stylist wasn't even there, then had a girl be rude, and then tell me I'm being charged after I was told it would be fixed at no charge? No one could explain that when I rescheduled? Complete waste of time. Terrible customer service. I won't ever go back again and will never recommend anyone going there. read more

One of our new models went to this salon and I was informed that yes she was late to her appointment but explain that she had gotten lost to the lady and apologized multiple times but the lady was just nasty mean to her yelling at her In front of everyone in the salon making her feel small and then telling her to go sit down at the very end, proceeding to tug and just be so rough w/ our models hair. Our model felt violated and disrespected at this salon and you are lucky she even tipped you because she is a kind young woman. Never again . You are canceled . read more

Came here for the first time last week. My kids got great haircuts but our stylist was so unfriendly and made me feel very judged when asking about how I style my children's hair and what she thought was wrong with their previous cuts. I've had the same hair type as them for 30+ years, I know how to manage it. I left feeling like she felt we were uneducated and inferior. She didn't say one word to my children despite me trying to facilitate some conversation. The haircuts were great but unfortunately my kids were so uncomfortable they don't want to return. Maybe this stylist is great with adults or had a rough day but our experience was very off putting. read more

I am a licensed cosmetologist myself and was looking for a salon to tackle a pretty big challenge in taking me from a very very vivid red to a brown and blonde ombre. I have been using a professional red for a while which apparently from what I'm hearing the color line I chose to use gold onto the hair VERY well and it's very hard to get rid of red tones in general let alone this color line, so, it was a big challenge. I called beforehand and explained the situation and asked whether they'd be willing to try and they got me in the same day. I got there and my appointment was with Ryan, and she did a very full consultation with me and we looked at pictures of what my end goal would be since as a hair dresser I know that going level 5 red to brown and blonde ombre is not possible in one session unless i want to be bald after haha. She tailored to my wants and needs while still being realistic (i didnt want to cut off much of my hair but knowing that lifting to blonde could cause significant damage, we discussed it might be better to cut an inch if it was needed)- She also was very understanding of the fact that I had 4 kids at home and was very on edge leaving dad with the kids for 4 hours and offered several times for me to run home if I needed to to check on them (I live right around the corner). She did an AMAZING job and completely blew away my expectations. I'm also not exaggerating when I say this, i left the salon with my hair in better condition then when I walked in even after bleaching. She recommended products to keep my hair in good shape between colorings and I can honestly say with 100% confidence that I have never been as happy with my hair as I am now, and never had such an amazing hairdresser and I've been to MANY places around here as I've worked in salons since I was 14. I bought a groupon for a haircut, deep conditioning & blowdry since we were having family pictures done. I was assigned to have my hair done by Jill, and she was great. She did a fantastic job with my hair, even styling it despite "style" not being a part of the groupon. I had planned on having my SIL help with curling my hair for the pictures later that afternoon but she curled it for me and it looked fantastic. 2 days later and my hair feels and looks great because of the treatment (it's so soft!) and I will definitely be back for my next haircut. I was trepidatious at first, but was welcomed warmly by Jen, who shampooed me, & Lori, the owner.There was no waiting & it was a warm, cozy atmosphere. They fixed my hair after I colored it myself and tried to let it grow out, it was a disaster. When I left I looked pretty much one million percent better, and I was just a walk in. They do color and highlights here, which is really nice, lots of places don't. My stylist was Taylor, and she knew exactly how to fix all the problems. I called one morning and was able to get in an hour later. I did the GroupOn they had for a Keratin treatment, cut, and blowout for only $29! Ryan was my stylist. I explained to her all of the medical issues I had been having and due to the stress, I was experiencing hair loss and a severely itchy scalp. She spent a great deal of time with me trying to figure out what could be wrong and gave me some great suggestions. She even did another type of treatment, in addition to the keratin, to help my scalp, without charging me! My head was not itchy for weeks, even while I was still sick!
