We were very disappointed, it was cheap to get in but then we found we had to pay for every ride…read moreinside as well, none of which I came across which was disabled friendly even though the site advertises that it is wheelchair friendly. Well it is if you just want to wheel around but none of the rides were possible sigh. Anyway we felt the staff were a bit rude and off hand too. Maybe we just went on a bad day, but we wouldn't recommend.

The park has loads of swings , see-saws, roundabouts, merry-go-rounds and there are benches for parents or guardains to sit back and enjoy. The car-park is free and during the summers you can buy ice-crems from the ice-cream vans standing here or from the cafe situated within the park. There is a toy-train as well in the park and you get to go round the park twice for a small fee of £1.

It also has a nice sandpit and in the summer there is a little train that you can ride on, I think it costs about 50p per person for a trip round the park. It has a paddling pool for the kids and there is a separate swimming popol which you have to pay extra to go in. The is a crazy golf course and also a putting green and a nice tea house. Plenty of parking space too.

Enough of the big animals (cows, sheep…read moreetc) for the kids but not so many it gets dull, and a lovely pets corner where the kids can handle rabbits, guinea pigs etc. There are some pets for sale at times of the year and you can order a free range turkey for Christmas, though you have to be quick - we went at the end of the summer holidays and they were all taken! Little farm shop selling their own produce which is all gorgeous, and the cafe sells lots of their own homemade food too. Just the right size for a morning out with a delicious lunch and a nice happy car ride home with the tired little cherubs!

They have an area set up for the younger ones with a ball pit, various toys, bouncy castle and a smaller version of the real play area. Once they are old enough (think it is 4 or 5) they can move onto the big play area with slides, ball bits, climbing areas etc. It's kind of like a big maze so kids love it! You can also have birthday parties here. The bad bits are that after they are 1 the cost shoots up to £4!!! They can't use anything different but that's the price (which I found quite annoying). The worst thing is that it can be very dirty!! My friends little boy found chewing gum on the floor and tried to eat it! And watch out for those parents who are paying no attention to their kids! I ended up with a ball in the side of my head and it was only after 5 minutes of me asking the boy where his mum was that she noticed. But if you want to take them for a good, fun time I would recommend.

The centre also has a childrens activity area away from the pools and offer crafts and play time while parents wait. The place is manic and the staff are unable to cope with how busy it is.
