Since it's a public park I knew it would be open, so my boyfriend and I hopped in the car and drove over. There were a few people doing some football drills on the field and some kids playing with bubbles. There's plenty of street parking nearby. There are restroom facilities but I didn't check to see if they were open. I left my sweatshirt and water bottle on the bleachers and felt comfortable doing that since there weren't many people around. The track was nicely maintained with only two small areas that needed to be patched. This park also has a playground and a pool! I've never been to the pool but would like to check it out someday - I've always wanted to go down the water slide. They will randomly change their schedule and not notify members so you're not actually able to use the facility when you want to use it. We are here right now and there is no pool we can use as paying members and the irony is it's called the aquatic center.

For Decades I've been coming to do laps here periodically throughout the years, it was easy to pay, to swim, then have a locker room to prepare for your work day afterwards. NOT ANYMORE! You arrive and they send you to a Universal Locker room with no heads up! Not cool early in the morning before my coffee which is how I have swam here since FOREVER, Also I wasn't the only one overwhelmed, there was an 80 year old Grandmother Not aware she is in a Universal Locker Room, also she wasn't aware that the glass she was changing in front of can be viewed from outside. She also had a hearing problem and the front staff just pushed her along without any explanation like they did me! All I needed was a Pool and a Woman's locker Room like I was getting my whole life coming to this location! It's made for the masses! Not for us Hollanders who like things simple and functional. The new layout has taken my small town pool and turned it to "Disney world" next they might add a monorail My suggestion have a pool and locker room just for us who want to pay, use and shower in private in a Woman's Only locker room like when we were younger here in Our Home Town!

I was here with my family and when we arrived to the pool, i mean everyone is super excited to go swimming, and then this staff, little big bigger of a girl, is just on our asses about EVERYTHING. Cant do this, cannot bring that, literally nothing. I understand rules and regulations, but you don't have to be condescending about it like you're in some power hungry struggle. She even came at my daughter when she had a sealed container of food that when she walked into the park, the two boy staffs didn't say anything, but of course when my girl sits down trying to just enjoy the day, mind you not even touching the container its under the chair, this lady is walking around, stops at us, literally SCANS everything we have with her eyes, kicks my kid out because she had a container of food she wasn't even touching. Like I said, i understand rules but you don't have to be an ASS when conveying those rules. As an owner of a business, do some more team training for these younger workers because that was ridiculous. I could write a whole segment about the girls working the concessions but i honestly just do not have the energy too, moral of story, fix this behavior.

This is a gated lot so be respectful of the hours. No pets, no smoking and no alcohol allowed. Lots of rules posted. Loved the ADA walkway to the top. Every 30' was a flat spot on the ramp to the overlook. Perfect for wheel chairs. Unfortunately it's stairs to the beach but still a great view if you can't touch the water. The place is definitely snuggled among personal homes so be respectful.
