Met up with some friends and their kids at this park recently. It's huge, with a lot of playground fun, basketball courts, soccer fields, softball field, a little skate park, gaga ball pit, covered picnic pavilions, and a really nice splash pad.
Parking seemed a little limited for the size of the park, but we got a spot at the main entrance off Wolfboro. This park is basically in the middle of a subdivision, so you can probably find street parking if needed. There were some little kids sports practices happening while we were there.
We used the pavilion to have our picnic dinner, then the kids all had a blast playing on the playground (ages 2.5-8). I was most impressed by the splash pad, with its water towers and buckets and the axolotl fountain! The kids kept referring to it as a "water park," which cracked me up. It's definitely a lot bigger than the splash pad at the park by my house.
A nice spot to hang out with kids! read more
