I love this place! Staff are friendly and helpful. A pretty decent selection of bathing suits for all ages. & for people reviewing this place complaining about the prices, if you're broke just say that instead of giving this place a 1 star review because you can't afford a swimsuit that's the same price everywhere else. The quality of their inventory of swim wear is perfect. Wash your suits after you wear them and it preserves the life of the suit that has nothing to do with the stores quality so project somewhere else. I love you guys keep it up! read more

Everything was cheap quality, but expensive in cost. They have a wide variety, but don't get the sun shirts. They feel horrible and cling. The sunglasses broke and their protective film came off is one day of use. They wouldn't let us return the broken sun glass holder, even though we literally opened it in the parking lot and didn't even use it yet. You can get everything at cvs for way cheaper and higher quality. read more

She should be happy we are spending money in her store but she was more annoyed and put out. Maybe she's having a bad day. We liked their merchandise and spent almost$100 in the store. I bought an umbrella that was defective and asked to exchange it I was told that I needed the receipt which I didn't have. However the umbrella had there price tag on it and when I showed the cashier the charge on my credit card statement she reluctantly agreed to an exchange. The exchanged umbrella was also defective. This place is on the corner of the main drag of Venice's little downtown area. If you're looking for bathing suits, sandals, Florida tees, caps, or trashy trinkets like keychains, shotglasses, seashell paraphernalia etc., there's a lot here. It's clearly touristy stuff, but not even the kind of touristy stuff I was seeking (postcards, candy to take back to work). I did find a nice Hawaiian shirt for my boyfriend there though. Also, their neon "Open" sign over the parking lot wasn't on, though it seemed like they should be open by the time we were there. She then continued to watch my two sons every step as if they were going to steal. My oldest picked an item out and went to bring it to me and she yelled at him for "playing " with the item. Feels like a tourist trap. Prices don't seem fair and their return policy is terrible. Only exchange or store credit. this doesn't seem fair for an establishment that caters to the tourist community. As someone who is not likely to return in time to use the credit, feels like you're being forced to waste more money on something you don't need or want. i purchased over two hundred dollars in clothes for my grand daughters and mailed them to them. a few items did not fit and the girls mailed them back for exchange, when i took the items in i was told that i missed the 14 day window and that they would no longer exchange them. i will never shop at any of their stores again. the staff was very ruge as well. buyer beware!!! read more

Staff is super friendly and helpful. We were able to find a suit for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it! I love it. It is so soft and smooth, very quality material. The reason for 4 stars instead of five is because there is only a very small selection for kids swimwear and the prices are on the high end. I do love all the other things they sell there though! Lots of cute gifts and super cute cover ups and adult swimwear and clothing. No returns allowed on swimwear but you can try everything on before you buy! read more

Splash is one of the larger swim and beach accessories stores around. They offer a good selection of shells, key chains and small trinkets for gifts. Great for tourists, although a little bit pricey for locals I think. Not a bad place overall, definitely good with variety. read more

Buyer Beware!!!! I bought 2 towels from this store. Washed the towels one completely unraveled the other one was fine. We took the towel back to the store to let them know what happened and to get a replacement. They blamed me and were very rude about situation. My daughter purchased a swimsuit there yesterday. After we arrived home, my daughter noticed the cashier put the wrong swimsuit in her bag. We went back today to exchange the wrong item, but tonight's cashier, different from last night, said there's nothing she can do about it. Even though we explained that the it's not the right suit and thier cashier made the mistake, we're still stuck with it. This is ridiculous, they made the error and we have to pay for it. Buyer beware. Splash doesn't stand behind its products. I just bought a men's Juban by Toto bathing. Boxer brief style. Picked it up Saturday. Swam in a practice yesterday. Washed it in cold today. Stitching is coming out of the hemline. The Splash manager told me I'm out of luck. They don't accept returns, exchanges for defective products. Learned my lesson. Next time I'll get the more expensive Speedos...anywhere but Splash. read more

So I went to Splash today for the second time. This time I tried on several bathing suits and the staff there were very helpful in helping me select my items. I was very happy with my purchase of two bathing suits plus my fiancee got a couple of tees. TWO HOURS LATER....I was unpacking the items from the bag and noticed that the one bikini top I purchased was sun-bleached and not the beautiful yellow I wanted but a pale bluish tinge in a few places. So I got back in my car and drove down to exchange for a different top that was not damaged. Well, the woman at the counter gave me a hard time and an attitude about their policy that you can't return swimwear. I understand that policy as swimwear is generally not returnable, but come on, the top was damaged and I obviously hadn't worn it as I had bought it two hours before and the tags where still on it. All I wanted was an identical top to replace the damaged one THEY sold me. She actually asked me if I had tried it on like I was an idiot or something not to notice...hello the fitting room is dark so a subtle defect like that is not immediately noticeable. She eventually said I could exchange it but not without a major attitude...I should also mention the exchange top was also damaged but at this point I was just plain irritated so I just took it. This place needs to work on their customer service. It is not just about making the sale, they need to stand behind their products. You can't sell damaged items and act like it is the customer's fault. It's a shame, I would have gone back as I live in the area, but I can buy my bathing suits from Victoria's Secret and save myself the trouble....they allow returns on all their items EVEN swimsuits. read more
