I have two small dogs that started our trip clean, but after 3 weeks of walking in the dust and dirt, they needed a bath. This is not something I will do in the motor home, and I saw an ad for Splash not far from the campground. I have never used a self-serve pet spa, but I'm glad I did! When I walked into Splash bright and early, there were already several other dog owners bathing their pooches. The wonderful staff member helped get me set up and ready to start the process of cleaning my pups. In less than an hour, my girls were clean, dry, and brushed! Having all the necessary tools within reach sure made this easy! Plus, I didn't have to clean the bathroom of all the dog fur, change soaking wet clothes as they have aprons for the owners, no wet laundry to do as they have the towels, and neither my back nor my knees hurt as the tub is waist high! read more

They've got everything you need to wash just about any dog! My dog has allergies and they even had hypoallergenic dog shampoo. The young man working there had more experience and great advice that I finally started to follow to make the whole time easier on me. I really enjoy the shop. They have a great selection of foods, toys, grooming tools and a wonderful polite and courteous staff. we have three dogs two cats and every one of them has their own likes and dislikes. I can get everyone of them covered from this one stop shop. They also have fresh eggs! So if you're looking for a great privately owned pet business that knows your pet bring your pets and business here. I grew tired of the big box stores and my wife stumbled across Splash. We've found a better dog food than the science diet we used to get for $20.00 less and my dogs love it! If you know anything about golden retrievers and their stomaches disagreeing with their food, it is hard to find a good replacement. read more

Our dog had her first (and hopefully) last encounter with a skunk in Nevada over a month ago and the smell has lingered in her thick winter coat. She was enjoying a visit with "Grandpa" and taking a break from our RV life. We got her back last week on our way home to Alaska and found the aroma overwhelming in the truck. Fortunately, my husband's son knew of Splash as he regularly takes his dogs there for baths. He strongly recommended that we spend some time checking out their self-service dog wash facilities. The young woman that greeted us upon arrival wasted no time in getting us set up at a wash station. She recommended a special blend of shampoo and quickly explained how everything worked. SPLASH provides a walk-in wash station with warm water, towels, tools and shampoo for a very reasonable price ($18 on our visit). Humans even get an apron to help avoid being soaked by their enthusiastic (or not, as in our case) doggies. The store also carries a variety of pet products with the following motto proudly displayed on the front door: "SPLASH proudly sells ONLY those products made in the USA!" I highly recommend a visit with your furry friend in tow. We'd love to take the whole place home with us - back to Alaska! read more

So good! Took my enormous Labradoodle in for a bath and blow dry. Everything was included for $20. Shampoo, conditioner, towels, brushes, the blow dryer and aprons to help keep us dry. Very nice and helpful staff. read more
